@TheMinorFall I have no problem with Coodaudu (I assume you mean the demon and not the host, if Tsitua was in a car crash as a child) being absolutely ancient as long as owner guy is older. I sorta saw him as so-old-I-remember-only-vague-details kinda stuff anyhow. Owner guy would not have been active as a fighter in the Cold War era, but given your proposal...I could change that. I figured out why he does what he does. More loss, yay! His...I dunno if I'd call her a wife, but the lady he loves, she is a phoenix and a Seer. She is essentially comatose -- his doing, in part, because she was suffering, similar to Zeela. He thought death and rebirth would heal her, but it did not. So now she sleeps and he makes sure her dreams are predominantly pleasant. Unfortunately she also barely remembers him, and doesn't really notice his influence, but...well, it's really hard to kill a phoenix permanently, so it's the best he can do and he just has to live with the rest. Pretty sure part of the reason he doesn't act directly most of the time is because once when he did he made things worse. Possibly the time that got her hurt. He tends to encourage a bright path, but intervene directly only enough to allow those involved to have a choice. Helping Amune -- and maybe stopping Coodaudu -- would be so there is a choice in this era.

By the way, isn't Jack the missing piece of Tsitua's soul? Coodaudu said he's sticking around only long enough for Tsitua to find his missing piece, so now I'm a wee bit confused.

Hm, the Ring? Well, they have mundane ways of...ah, "persuasion" and brainwashing. Which I imagine you need a different skill set to resist, compared to less ordinary methods. And files on various humans/nonhumans with interesting abilities...as well as, potentially, research into artificially mimicking or inducing such abilities in/with standard humans....

@shylarahlet me ease your confusion, this thread is taking place in a period of time within the Jack thread I haven't gotten to yet, and where I will be doing a time-skip anyway. Think of it as a crossover, like how the Flash tv show crosses over into Arrow or Supergirl.. yeah I watch those shows, don't judge me lol.

As far as the Owner, I'm totally cool with whatever you decide. It could be any point in history you like, as long as it's the same basic course of events I can work with it. I'll roll with whatever you decide, but does this mean we get to meet the Owner??? *wiggles in anticipation*

I think im going to bring everyone together and then start focusing on fewer characters at a time. I get lost in all these things sometimes and don't know what to write.

I just need to stop biting off so much. Between this and my other threads and my personal writing across three blogs or so, I tend to need a few days sometimes just to write something for you. :/

@TheMinorFall aww, I guess I understand. I never really have trouble focusing on a bunch of different things, but I also can juggle like twenty different rp threads at the same time,. Plus I have no life, so there's that. ^.^;;

I don't think Cera is interested in leaving the Upstairs, I'm afraid. You might be able to convince Sini, but I'm reluctant to have her become a major player. I think her function in this town is primarily defensive, even though she is aligned with war and conflict. She has...I dunno if they'd be shrines in this variant, but some sort of focus point in other places that supply her with energy, so she can afford to eliminate fighting here.

Don't get me wrong I like being recognized for what I do but hearing "thank you for your service" a billion times get old real fast. Military is more incidental, though I do remember you saying something along those lines. Secondly, it took me a minute to even remember why something like that would be said today, given that I keep thinking it's a day later in the week and I've never been particularly aware of Veteran's Day to start with. It's been mentioned a couple times here, but not as much as it would have been if I were not on vacation. So...you're welcome, I guess? I'm guessing the rp with Jack proceeds from the old thread, but since you don't want to juggle a bunch of us, you've split it up and just jumped me forward a while, since I was a new player and my chars were not as solidly entwined in the setting.

I am a little curious why Tsitua wanted to find a flower shop.
