The year is 2085.

Five years had passed since Initiation: Recall. Overwatch is finally back on the rise after a massive cataclysm threatened to shut them down for good. Between then and now, terrorist forces have been on a steady rise, with about 30+ factions having already been identified as of 2075. What was worse, the UN had by that time issued the Petras Act, deeming any Overwatch activity to be declared illegal and liable to prosecution. It was this disbandment, that lead to the rise of these terrorist organization, eventually forming into an empire of the underworld. The main leading force was that of the mysterious but deadly Talon, an organization that also fought Overwatch during it's prime, but was defeated in every encounter. Yet despite this, they still managed to survive the encounters and laid low in the final yeard of Overwatch. Now that they were out of the picture, they began to rise back in power, having gained new members, allies, and weaponry. Their goal is uncertain as of now, but power is one that can be seen based off several attempts to receive valuable objects and weaponry.

Yet even after being disbanded, Overwatch wasn't dead forever. After Reaper, aka Gabriel Reyes, the former leader of the Blackwatch division in OW, tried to hack into Watchpoint: Gibraltar in an effort to gain a list of Overwatch agents. While he almost succeeded, Winston, the intelligent gorilla scientist, was able to defeat him and his forces, and save the identities of Overwatch getting into the hands of Talon. It was then when he made the decision to initiate Recall and call Overwatch out from hiding. They will continue to fight until their last breath... until peace is finally made in the world.

Fast forward five years later and Overwatch has been slowly getting recognition. The UN had not heard of it's return until merely two years later. Diplomatic meetings took place as Overwatch began trying to justify itself that the world needs them and that they are the only capable force that can affectively shut down these specialized terrorists. After weeks of talking and compromising, the UN finally allowed them to be of active service... but until they've proven themselves more affectively, they will be strictly watched under the UN and them only. They will obey every order, they will go only on their specified missions, and if they fail enough times, they will be shutdown yet again. For many it was a harsh compromise at most, but alas it was either that or nothing at all.

A year ago, Overwatch proved itself enough for the UN to allow them to start recruiting a limited selection of recruits to help their efforts in a separate division. This division is known as Deltawatch. Unlike Blackwatch, this was a friendly and loyal division that focused on the youthful heroes between 16 and 25. It usually participates in smaller to medium-scaled missions, mostly to appeal to the new audience, while leaving the more advanced missions to Overwatch alone. Six advisors coming from Overwatch's prime are chosen to be advisors to the team, based off their specialty and skills, training the new recruits to have them eventually become the new generation of Overwatch, guardians of the Earth!

Now, after one year of training, they're ready at last. Recently, a call came out for two hybrid teams of four to be formed from the 6 advisors to go on their first mission. Their squad leaders? One is commanded by Robin Davies, son of ex-Overwatch agent Darwin Davies, or Scarlet Hawk. The other is commanded by Phoebe Sarin, also kin to two ex-Overwatch agents. These two are to command their own squad of four (including themselves) being under supervision of an Overwatch advisor.

Their first mission is about to be announced...

Robin Davies

Overwatch Headquarters: Hallway ----> Briefing Room

Rushing through the glistening halls of HQ, Robin Davies hurries to get to the briefing room. It was only 9:38 in the morning, only 7 minutes till Commander Morrison, aka: Soldier 76, was to announce their first mission. Finally! After one year of rather intense training, he was going to be going on his first mission! Best of all, he even heard he was leading a team of his own! If his father was here he would be incredibly proud of him right now. Oh how Robin missed his father. Despite being away for so long, he was a good man. Always fighting for the just reasons. He was incredibly skilled in battle, especially while wielding Red-Eye, the gleaming red-n-black gunsword hybrid, the very same one he currently has grasped tightly in his right hand. It was devastating to see him getting shot down by Talon... shot down by the infamous Widowmaker, the spider-assassin who's responsible for countless of deaths over her career.

But enough about his depressing past. Robin must look forward. The future in the form of Deltawatch awaits him. One day, he'll join Overwatch's ranks. One day, he will avenge his father. One day, may he become one of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen! The possibilities were~!

"Oof!"

With a grunt he accidentally crashes into a giant black pillar, making him stagger as he regains his fitting. That black pillar however, wasn't even a pillar at all. It was a black furry arm, belonging to one of Overwatch's most brilliant minds, Winston! The big ape turns around curiously, smiling at the young man as he adjusts his glasses.

"Ah Robin!" he says with a friendly chuckle, "Nice to see you on such a wonderful morning. Please do be careful in watching where your going though. I wouldn't want you to get hurt."

Robin simply grunts as he issues a slight salute.

"A-Ah, good morning to you too Winston." he replies with a noticeable British accent, being somewhat flustered, "Sorry about that mate. I'm just rushing to the briefing room. I'm finally going to embark on my first mission, leading a squad and everything!"

"Why that's indeed excellent news!" Winston remarks with a smile, "I'm sure that your father would be proud to see the next generation of Overwatch take his first step into becoming a hero of his own and saving the world under his own footsteps!"

Robin simply chuckled at his grand statement, rubbing his head.

"Uh, yeah! Yeah of course! Thank you for the kind words. Now I do heavily apologize sir, but I need to get to the briefing room. I mustn't be late for my first meeting, you know?"

The gorilla simply nods at his statement.

"Oh, of course." he answers as he makes room, "Don't let me stop you. Make your father proud, Robin!"

With another friendly salute, a gleaming smile, and a wink, off goes Robin as he quickly approaches the door to the briefing room. The clocks strikes 7:40, just five minutes till the presentation. Breathing a sigh of relief, he simply finds a seat and plops down in it, awaiting both the other teammates and for Morrison to make his appearance.

Reaper

Talon Headquarters: Balcony ----> Control Center

Upon a cold desolate mountain, Talon's forces resign in a secret underground bunker base as the blistering blizzard howls outside. A prime mission preparation was underway as various soldiers were running around preparing vehicles, checking weapons, and basically doings things at an almost last-minute pace. They all need to be ready by the time the storm clears in only 15 minutes. Time is money at this stage... literally.

Overlooking the preparations from atop Hangar 03's control center balcony, the notorious Repear scans the area as his mask slowly observes each and everyone within the room. His skull-like mask is sure to bring shudders down everyone's back at a single glance, prompting any wandering eyes to quickly get back to work, or risk a possible punishment. Any delays at this point will be costly. Soon, even the shadowy figure gets tired of watching them and makes his way inside the control room. Several Talon workers were on the computers, from initializing perimeter scans, to meteorologic scans of the blizzard outside, as well as checking out the list of readying jets, they were all busy.

This mission, if done successfully, will be vital in helping with Talon's cause. Yet Reaper knows that this mission will be almost certainly discovered by the heroic Overwatch, the thorn in his side. He growls internally at the thought. But at least he'll be having some highly skilled warriors coming with them as well. It's now time. He then walks behind a security guard, monitoring the cameras located around the complex.

"Contact the special forces." Reaper announces with a slow, deep, voice, modulated by his mask as if death was behind it, "They need to be here in five minutes. It's time to commence the operation."

"Yes sir," replies the guard unemotionally as he presses a red center button. Holding it, he announces, "REPORT. ALL TALON SPECIAL FORCES MUST REPORT TO HANGAR CONTROL CENTER 03 IMMEDIATELY WITHIN FIVE MINUTES. REAPER WILL BRIEF YOU AT THE OPERATION AT HAND. DON'T BE LATE."

As soon as he finished, he lifts his finger off the button. Reaper simply turns away as he looks outside the window with his hands behind his back, as he awaits the Special Forces to enter the room.

Briefing Room --> An Hour before Everyone Arrived

Louis was sooooo bored. Sure, he did come around an hour earlier than everyone else because he thought others would want to show up early too...oh well. In his hour of waiting, Louis decided to do all sorts of pranks for a funny joke to entertain himself and hopefully entertain others. He loosened the bolts on random chairs so they would collapse when sat upon, there was a poster on the side of the room ready to drop and say, "Is it High Noon yet?" After setting up the two pranks, he decided to hide sneakily wait behind the door...hoping to pounce on someone. That's what he gets from boredom...after all, his watch stated not only time, but did have a feature to state his body's condition and Nano-Machines currently available...and he was in time condition. After all, jokes aside, a genius must be ready for anything...that includes pranks as well. As time passes, the tune of "All By Myself," was being hummed by Louis...

An Hour Passes

The unfortunate victim was subject to Louis's tickles as he removes his gloves and his hands turn a bit red from low power Tickle Mode on so Louis doesn't waste too many Nano-Machines in doing this. He keeps on tickling Robin when the young captain came in, laughing himself as he does so. Sure, it was kinda forced and one hell of a introduction...but at least it'll be a memorable present from it!

"Haha! Got you Caps! Try to hold it in, otherwise you'll be laughing for quite a while...then again, who could hold it in!? Let the laughs flow, don't fight it...otherwise, you may be hurling in the garbage for quite a while. And by a while...I mean a short amount of time of vicious gag reflex that may cause a sore throat."

Anxiety this is what the whole situation felt like. Voices of me constantly speaking going over what I'm going through. Telling my things that I've already said and there is no correct solution to my problem. Wish... everything was more clear and defined in a way. I want to go home and forget that this was happening but no. I won't do that. I've built up too far to go back down now.

I don't want to let my dad down. He depends almost everything on me and I feel as if I should resent him for that but I don't. He's my father and I should be proud that I have one.

I... I don't know what to think anymore.

Aryn sat in his dad's car. Fingers intertwining as he nervously pulls against his thumb. He bites his lip impatiently waiting to arrive at the HQ. "Nervous? " He nods, "Don't be! I've met with the staff, they're great! I'm sure you'll be able to fit right in. " His dad was optimistic as always. The rest of the ride was one-sided, though, Aryn enjoyed that his father filled the silence along the way it felt comforting to know that his father really did care. Before he knew it the car had abruptly stopped.

The cold breeze filled his lungs as he stepped out. His scarf flying over to his side as his dad wobbles out of his seat, "You'll do great out there. I promise. " His dad patted Aryn's head, "Also. There is an extra inhaler in your bag just in case you lose your other one and don't forget to eat because you usually do and don't forg- " Aryn exhaled deeply, taking in the cold air smiling at his father, "I'll do my best. I promise dad. " He nodded, patting his father's shoulder and then made his way into the building.

The halls were slick and clean. Pictures of famous Overwatch members were displayed on some of the walls, some including, Mercy and Torbjorn. He'd never really thought of his 'heroes' anymore when training started. He was too focused on doubting and self-deprecation and didn't have the time to think of who he had looked up to. He'd grown up from that stage. His footsteps echoed in the hallway, he stared at the black scuff on his shoes and the way that his pants ruffled each time he'd taken. Aryn just wanted to go back home and rest easy but that was too 'selfish'. Aryn didn't want to turn out like his deceased grandfather, he didn't want to be a disappoint. Sometimes... he wished he could've said no.

Aryn stopped suddenly his head perking up as he sees the door opened. He hid his frown as his eyes glided over to the two men he had seen at training. Specifically, he'd remember T.H. for attempting to tickle him and, Robin of whom was assigned as the leader of his current team. He waved and entered the room which had suddenly switched in temperature, smiling awkwardly towards the two as he stood by the door waiting for whoever was hosting the briefing session.

Hallway ----> Briefing room

Michael Marley strode through the hallway, checking the watch on his wrist. 9:40. He had plenty of time. With the other hand he started eating at the roll he had snatched from the canteen for breakfast. Down the hallway he heard voices, the distinctive baritone of the scientist, Winston, as well as someone else, with a British accent Michael vaguely recognized. He rounded a corner just in time to see the gorilla walking the other way. While he considered tossing a greeting down the hallways, Michael decided it was best to just get into the meeting room, to avoid being late.

The seen he saw when he walked in was not what he expected. There was Robin, the boss, and another kid, someone he didn't know, taunting him. Trying to get him laugh.

"Uh, heya guys, boss. What's up? Michael smiled, trying to hide his mild surprise at such a comical scene. He crossed the room, and took a seat. He took another bite of his breakfast, and cleared his throat. "So what exactly...are you two doing?" Maybe they knew eachother, and this was normal. Mike wasn't about to try and make enemies on the first day, in fact, the new guy seemed to be having fun. Michael finished off his breakfast and checked his watch. 9:43.

"REPORT. ALL TALON SPECIAL FORCES MUST REPORT TO HANGAR CONTROL CENTER 03 IMMEDIATELY WITHIN FIVE MINUTES. REAPER WILL BRIEF YOU AT THE OPERATION AT HAND. DON'T BE LATE."

Viper sighed as the voice boomed through the halls of the facility, I'm working, couldn't the mission begin later? Ah oh well... The scientist looked down at his...patient, his chest was split open with his beating heart full to the brim with chemicals , it wouldn't be long before the man would succumb to the toxins flowing through him "Such a waste, I'm going to need to do this process all over again" the Talon agent muttered before imbedding his scalpel into the patients arm and exiting the room, still covered in blood and chemicals.
The operative quickly made his way to the control centre, there was little interruption on his way to the room due to the frantic haste that seemed to linger over the facility. As he entered he gave a silent nod to Reaper before moving closer to the window and waiting for the other Talon agents to arrive.

Sanguine

Sanguine, still dressed in his casual wear was walking through the hallways of the base when he was called to the Hanger control center. Just like everyone, he walked with a certain haste. But unlike the mere minions of Talon, Lee walked with the pace and composure of someone focused on a far greater task than reporting to a certain officer. He was on his phone, as per usual. Calling one general or another admiral. The phone, however, was redirected over several lines. If anyone tried to track it, they’d almost literally travel the globe before finding his location. “Yes, general. I will deliver the prototype next week for the presentation. I can assure you, you will be impressed.” The other end muttered a few words, incomprehensible to everyone around him. “Thank you, general. Do give best to Melanie and the kids.” With a friendly goodbye, he ended the phone call with a sigh. His front could be tiresome from time to time. But that’s what is required of him.

Talon was the one place that forsook all forms of morality. It offered the best pure and utter freedom. Both financially and ethically. But they only accepted perfection. Sadly, that meant taking in less… savory characters. One of them Sanguine noticed as he arrived. Viper. The glorified lab rat still smelled of the pungent fluids of a deadman. Well, Lee at least hoped the poor subject was dead. He was not entirely against the use of prisoners as test subjects. Mice, while excellent subjects themselves, weren’t 100% human. Thus results could still vary. Still, Sanguine wished that the chemist would at least have changed his clothes before entering the room. Silently Sanguine nodded his supervisor, Reaper and took a seat. But when Lee finally stood still, the smell was absolutely abhorrent. So bad even, that he could not help but say: “I guess hygiene is straight out of the window these days.” A not so subtle jab at Viper.

Lux

Aiden Paris or better yet Lux was making his way to the meeting room to meet up with his teammates and leader for their upcoming mission. Lux walked past the giant gorilla that was one of the leaders of Overwatch, Lux simply nodded his head at Winston and continue making his way to the meeting room. Lux found his time at Overwatch strange, there were many strange individuals and even stranger situations they found themselves in, but all the high-end tech kept him entertain and interested in staying with Overwatch.

When Entering the meeting room he saw a strange sight, for a second he stared at the scene without a word, then suddenly he let out a sigh and made his way next to Michael and before taking a seat Lux noticed that some of the seats were wobbly as he moved his hands over them, Lux silently moved the chair back and forth before letting out a second exhausted sigh of disbelief this morning and using his synthetic arms to create a seat for him to sit on next to Michael. The chair he sat on was made of Hard-light and it was as stable as they come.

"So... what are we to do?" Lux questioned as he crossed his leg over the other one.

Medix

Gertrude or Medix as she's better known as was writing in a clipboard on her research, subtly, she smirked as she wrote down the results of her most recent test subject who was laying on the exam table, restrained although unneeded and dying painfully from radiation poisoning and various cases of cancers and tumors throughout his body. This would further improve the effectiveness of her radiation gun. As she was writing down the successful results of her testing the subject woke up, his eyes weakly opened as he tried to endure past all the pain to say, "Why won't you let me die..." His voice was shaky and weak, Medix almost didn't hear the man due to how pathetic he sounded. "Simple, My Dear, you betrayed Talon and I needed a test subject and you had the most fortuitous of timing to betray us." Medix mocked as she bopped him on the chest, where she knew a tumor was growing tremendously, the man let out a groan in pain as she poked him. Medix let out a giggle before speaking once again. "Don't worry dear, I let you die once you prove to be of no more use... Which should be a couple more month of intense testing then I kill you myself how does that sound?" Medix mocked the test subject, the man let out a pathetic sound between a sob and a cough.

Suddenly a message came on the intercom telling all agents to come to the Hanger Control center, which included her. Medix huffed up then let out a dramatic sigh, "Lucky you, you get a couple days to relax in your pain and bodily fluids, until I return to make you suffer." Medix said in mock anger before she let out a grin as she got up and put her clipboard on a nearby table and walked towards the door before she left though the door she looked back to her test subject and said "Ta-ta, for now." She waved then went through the door. As she walked down the hall her jovial grin turned to a more stern expression as she quickly made her way through the Talon Base to the Hanger. After a minute of walking, she arrived at the Hanger Control center, with her follow agents, Sanguine, Reaper, and Viper. Viper, as expected was covered in bodily filth and blood which she simply rolled her eyes at, normally she would've reprimanded him for his lack of cleanliness and decency, but she wasn't in the mood to deal with him. Sanguine, on the other hand, made a snide jab about the former's attire, Medix couldn't help but agree by saying, "hygiene was never our dear Viper's strong suit, but he's still useful to us even if should've changed before the meeting." Medix snidely commented, agreeing with Sanguine, her relationship with the man was a strange case, he was a double agent of sorts, a type Medix wouldn't trust, but she seen the use of somebody like him even if she doesn't agree with his double alliances.

Medix without saying anything else simply sat down on a chair and waited for the meeting to commence. Hopefully, it won't take them too long to deal with it, the test subject only has so many days before dying from his numerous assortment of diseases.

"S'cuse me." The cyborg said as he zipped past several halls of the Headquarters, not even bothering to say sorry or check to see some of the people he'd bumped into. One of them even shouted at him but he could've really cared less, "I'll just say sorry later. Not my problem..." He had a bad habit of making late appearances whenever meetings were concerned, a thing he carried over from his school days. He scoffed when he thinks that some things refuse to change about people, but he really wasn't in any position to judge.

Scooting over another hall, the mechanical young man thought to himself that he wasn't even late. The thought repeating itself inside his head, first impressions are always good, and arriving late would just ruin it. After picking up the pace, he had found his face meeting with the door to the briefing room. Pausing for a few moments to gussy up, he entered the room only to see...

"Oh Great..."

He groaned as he saw Tickles McGee and their great leader doing...Whatever it is what Tickles does best. Putting one of his palms in his face, he just took the nearest seat and tried to forget what was currently happening. Thankfully, he wasn't late, well...At least he doesn't think so, I mean there were still lots of seats open and there were only five guys, counting him. One of them, Lux, (was that his name? D-A doesn't remember.) asked what they're going to do now. D-A responded with, "Beats me. You guys can think of anything fun we can do while waiting?" He glanced at T.H. once and didn't even wait for him to look back. "Preferably an activity that DOESN'T include tickling of any sorts."

Zhi-Ya Chen

Staying up all night is always a big mistake. But for the great Zhi-Ya Chen, all nighters were nothing at all! All she needed was a good mug of coffee and a table covered in machine parts to keep her going. However, time flies when you're having fun, and making new creations was the definition of fun to this young combat engineer. This time it was a hover board. A custom-made hover board to be exact. It was similar to the one she made as a teenager, but this time it was unlikely to explode upon activation. By the time she was done crafting the board, she looked at the clock. 9:40am.

"Ah.. whoops.." Zhi-ya hurriedly cleaned herself up, changing into her combat gear. 9:43am. "I got to hurry!" Zhi-Ya panicked as she activated her hover board, hopping onto it. She opened her door remotely before launching herself down the corridor. She couldn't afford to be late for the mission announcement. Such tardiness back in the Taiwanese military would get her shot.. Not really, but lowered rations felt the same.

She sped down the hallways at high speeds, coming close to crashing into multiple people. If anyone else was nearby by, all they'd hear is a profuse amount of apologies in Mandarin and someone shouting.

Zhi-Ya overshot the meeting room, crashing into the floor as she attempted to dismount the high speed board. She managed to do a recovery roll, only to get hit by her board as it came hurtling from behind her. "Ow.." she groaned as she got back onto her feet. Her drone, that was following behind her, made a robotic chuckling noise as it's creator began walking to the room. Zhi-Ya gave the drone a flick in response.

The engineer walked into the room, already looking a little tired and beat up. 9:44am. Just in time.. To see the infamous tickle monster attacking his latest victim. All she could do was shake her head before looking at the others who were already here. "Good morning~" She greeted with a slightly tired smile.

Phoebe spent her morning in the practice range.

Out of the Berserk Armor, of course. She felt like she was... over-relying on it. The Berserk Armor was a powerful weapon, but what if it gets destroyed? Then she'll be absolutely defenseless as she lacks the natural abilities the other Overwatch members have (And she lacks the personal tech the Deltawatch members do). So, she was in the shooting range with an assault rifle that she "borrowed."

She was opening fire on the bots while they make obnoxious noises. Hey, that made it easier to shoot them down with impunity. Phoebe had training with the US military, and now she's going to put all of it to good use. The bots went down like flies as her aim was nothing to make jokes about. But, instead of wildly firing like a psychopath, she merely demonstrated trigger discipline. She needed to warm up for the upcoming mission, anyway.

However, she heard the distinct sound of a certain weapon flying through the air. She knew exactly what it was... she merely hung her rifle up as she peaked around the corner to see the cybernetic Genji Shimada. She heard about his sad tale... but a part of her wondered if Mercy is a pervert for giving him an ass like that.

She bit her lip as she merely slid back behind the wall.

She had to get ready for the operation, after all. Hanging up her rifle, Phoebe walked over towards the briefing room in a brisk-pace. She realized she was dressed pretty casually in just a T-shirt, jeans, and some boots, but who cares when she's just going to hop into her mech. All of her team is here - even the other team.

But, her eyes landed on Louis... and gave him a disturbed look.

"Yo, Louis," Phoebe said as she sat down, far away from the medic. "Keep your little tickle stick away from me... and kids while we're at it."

T.H.

"A..you guys are no fun. Laughter is a great way to start a day especially before a mission. Might as well be flat out Robots, no offense to the Omnics...well I guess it's time for the meeting anyway. That and what tickle stick? My hands are the funny things about me, besides my charming personality."

Louis laughs as he stops tickling the leader and goes to take a seat that he didn't mess with. Sure, he was a bit nervous about their first mission together but he'd rather not be like his old self and be just a talking stone. Rather enjoy the present like it is with laughter...and he keeps doing so until it dies down eventually. His hands stop glowing as he calms down and Louis puts on his fingerless gloves so that he doesn't accidentally leave it on. The medic looks eagerly at the others with a funny smile of sorts, knowing that he was the only one who was a nut job in comparison to them.

"Geez...seems like a dead body entered the room or something. You guys should cheer up! We got chosen for a mission for once, saving people or something. Best to start smiling now because we might not be able to later."

Mike waved to Lux as he walked in. He was always impressed by Lux's hardlight constructions, and greeted the former Vishkar when he sat down nearby. After a moment to admire the sudden apparition of the elegantly designed chair, by which he goggled at it a few moments, Mike greeted Lux. "Heya Lux. How goes it?"

Mike shrugged at Lux's question. He was just going to sit there and watch the show, as it were. Before he got a chance to reply to Lux, D-A, the cyborg with the laser swords walked in. Mike threw a wave toward him, and turned back to Lux. "Dunno man. We could juggle, we could tell amusing stories and anecdotes from our pasts. We could share advice on dealing with rodent infestation. Me, I'm gonna eat." With that, Michael produced a protein bar from his pocket, the second half of his breakfast.

The engineer came in next, with her little robot thing. She gave a tired greeting, which Michael returned through half a mouthful of food. "G'morning!" He swallowed, and pocketed the wrapper. Seems the room was filling up quick, as the last member of the Deltawatch squads appeared in the doorway, Phoebe Sarin. Michael grinned cheerfully at his fellow armor pilot. He watched her sit, and chuckled at her comment toward towards Louis.

Mike leaned back in his chair with a grunt. They should be getting their orders any minute now.

Lux

The rest of the squad arrived in increasingly bizarre ways, First was D-A, he was an enigma of a cyborg, but that didn't really matter to Lux, the past is in the past and he wants to learn about his teammates currently, and currently he wants to dismantle D-A limb by limb to figure out how he works and function and maybe learn a thing or two about the cyborg while doing so. Zhi was after D-A, before she arrived a loud noise came from outside so it must've been her that was the cause, Zhi was a strange person, how she was part of military force he would never understand, but her tech, which while rustic compared to his hard light constructs would be useful to learn and copy for future use. Phoebe was rather average for the group, while by his standards of average, she was clearly a soldier before anything else, she shares that trait with Red Robin who was a warrior first as well, Lux normally would've considered D-A just brute muscle but his body being made out of tech caused Lux to be more curious towards him rather than apathetic. T.H spoke next, he was far too optimistic to be a soldier, but his tech had amazing potential and uses, just a shame the way its activated turns off most of the Deltawatch unit. Lux simply see it as tech and not a social misstep as the rest of Deltawatch does. T.H let out a small rant about the overly serious group, Lux couldn't help but comment on it. "It'd be too dangerous for me to smile T.H., my face might crack under the pressure of such an unfamiliar expression." Lux flatly commented his face staying ever stoic.

D-A and Flashover are discussing what to do before the mission, Flashover decided to eat while D-A Wants to do something fun without tickling involved. "Since, we are waiting for a mission I think we need to get our blood flowing from the morning drowsiness, so I can create a hard-light gun and we can play Russian roulette, that'd get our blood pumping for the next mission... one way or another..." Lux flatly said with no hint of emotion behind his words, he stayed silent for a moment before talking again. "I'm joking by the way, playing Russian roulette would be a waste of time and resources, I'd say we continue in this light-hearted small talk until the meeting commence." his face doesn't show it, but he's internally laughing at his comment it was so silly and pointless that it almost put a smile on his face but just not enough.

D-A

It wasn't long before a few other faces had decided to show themselves welcome. There was the resident cutie, Zhi-Ya who looked like she could really use a rest or maybe two cups of coffee, if the bags under her eyes were any indication. Oh, the wonders of staying up late...D-A chuckled as he remembers similar situations that had happened before, he waves at the girl to greet her. Then there was Phoebe, the ever dependable team leader. He couldn't help but nod his head and laugh at her witty jab at Louis. Seriously, that kid needs help. Someone get him a therapist or something. And speaking of the devil, the redhead said something about his personality being all a part of his charm, and in that moment D-A swore that if he still had eyebrows they would've been through the roof right now. Thankfully though, the tickling had ceased and for he did have to agree with TH on something, it was pretty dull. Not exactly fitting atmosphere for a bunch of ragtag up and coming heroes getting ready for their first mission. Subconsciously, he was trying to force himself to smile, to no avail. He sighed as he lamented that even basic facial expressions, he can't do.

D-A glanced over at Mike who was busily munching on a protein bar, to which he replied with, "Aw great, now you're making me miss food..." Yet another downside of being mechanical was the lack of food. Life becomes a little less brighter when you can't even enjoy the simplest things, like food. Trying to ignore the pessimistic emotions clouding his mind, he turned his attention to Lux, who always was pretty distant to the rest of the group. Even his jokes are in line with his personality; cold. Then all of a sudden he mentions playing Russian Roulette of all things, there's being risky and a daredevil, and then there's stupid. This was made even worse by his deadpan silence after uttering those words before saying it was merely all a joke, proving D-A's point that his sense of his humor is pretty....questionable to say the least.

T.H.

Still At Meeting

T. H. understood the joke from Lux and laughs a bit from it. He goes over to Lux and puts an arm around him being friendly as usual, with a large smile. Happy that there was at least a sense of humor within the group, he waves at the others and notions back to Lux.

"See, at least this guy gets it! Much better to make a cold joke like that then stand still acting all nervous or silent...just makes it feel like we're already in the mission hehe. Or maybe that is the mission, we all silently stare at each other and try to keep quiet...just kidding! Guys got to lighten up a bit, it's going to be a fun day after all."

Louis doesn't mind leaning against Lux a bit but was also reaching over to check out the hardness of the Hardlight Chair he was on. Definitely true that the Hardlight was much more sturdier than his tech but Louis was just wondering...can he be able to make a fancy vehicle out of it? Maybe an experiment for another time, Louis goes back to smiling at the others as they waited for their bosses to give them the presentation.

"...so Hardlight huh? More of a genetic man and a bit of engineering myself, much simpler to trust a humanoid body that's living of sorts to run experiments and tests on. Mind giving me a demonstration when we get the time to of sorts Mr. Russian Roulette sir?"

Zhi-Ya Chen

@Haru Nyan

As much as Zhi-Ya wanted to be part of these conversations, the tiredness from the triple stacked all-nighter was starting to punish her more than she expected. It wasn't looking like a good first mission announcement day for her. She had a little stretch and a yawn as she sat down next to D-A. If she was more awake, she would be poking at Lux for Hardlight demonstrations, much like what T.H. was doing, and asking D-A if she could look at his machinery. Despite knowing these people for about a year, she still knew almost nothing about them. Not helpful at all. You know what else isn't helpful? Being attacked by the sleep monster. In the morning. On mission announcement.

The engineer distinctly remembered a day in which she asked D-A about his machine body, but she forgot what the response was. "Too sleepy.. Can't lighten up.. Please.. Caffeine.." She muttered tiredly as she eyes slowly shut, her body tilting to the side as she fell asleep. Her head making a muted thunk. as it rested on D-A's shoulder.

'Russians are bad gamblers though..' Russian roulette was a weird game indeed.

Red Robin

Overwatch Headquarters: Briefing Room

However, unaware to Robin, as he sits down in a seat closest to him, he failed to realize that he was not alone in here. He suddenly feels something skitter up his legs. He begins to feel uncomfortable, but chuckles as the nano-machines ran up his entire body. He began to chuckle, then giggle, until laughing uncontrollably as he wiggles around in his chair, clutching his sides. If one couldn't tell, he is extremely ticklish. Perhaps a little too so. Regardless, Robin knew exactly who was forcing him to contort in these awful positions. He tries to brush off the nano-machines as he tries to make out his words.

"Gah-haha-haaa!" he laughs wildly with several grunts in between, "S-Stop it Tulip! Gaaaahaa! T-That's enouuuuuugh!"

Thankfully for him, T.H at that point would've stopped as Robin would feel the machines finally retreat, resulting in him taking a deep sigh as he sinks into his seat. All he would hear was T.H. giggling in the corner, watching his "misery"

An annoyed growl comes from Robin's mouth as he tries to get himself comfortable.

"Oh I really hope you aren't on my team..." he says in a lower tone as he catches his breath.

Tulip's powers may look much of mischief, but he knows that this was actually, believe it or not, a healing technique. He never much believed in the whole "Laughter is the best medicine", but considering he has actually passed after one year of training and managed to get into here, perhaps there was some truth to it after all. Yet he will have to consider that later, as he then turns his head to the entrance of the room. There he sees several figures entering the room, each also trying to pull in what was just happening in there. Basically, almost the entire gang saw the entire ordeal. Robin couldn't help but to feel utterly humiliated that he was watched by practically everyone else.

"Ugh..." he sighs, rolling his eyes while slapping his hands on the seat, "You've got to be kidding me."

The figures that came in were Clover, another support-class who used enhancers to help out, Flashover, a tank-class who was previously a firefighter, Lux, an engineer-class who happened to control hard-light, D-A, an offensive swordsman who one could easily think to be a costume Genji would wear, and last, but certainly not least, was Exusia, a mech pilot, who also was chosen as squad-leader of her own group. They were all chosen as part of Deltawatch, for their valiant effort, clever tactics, and overall their fierce determination to help save the world. They are the future... the next generation of Overwatch. When they're gone, they will take their places. This day, their first mission, will have them take their first steps into Overwatch overall.

]"Uh, heya guys, boss. What's up? remarks Flashover, aka Michael Marley, "So what exactly...are you two doing?"

"D-Don't ask mate...." Robin sighs as he sits up straight.

"Yo, Louis," Phoebe said next to T.H, "Keep your little tickle stick away from me... and kids while we're at it."

T.H would respond back in slight disappointment, eventually leading in other conversations amongst the teammates. At one point even Lux asked what they should do now.

"Preferably an activity that DOESN'T include tickling of any sorts." replied D-A.

"Yes, THANK YOU," Robin replies with a thumbs up, "I definitely approve of that."

Suddenly, the last hero popped into the room, looking utterly exhausted. Looks like her alarm didn't ring at the right time and basically scrambled to get here. She was Zhi-Ya Chen, another engineer that specializes in drones. Flashover greeted her, Zhi also responding back, begging blatantly for caffeine until eventually resting on D-A's shoulder. Robin looks around him to see the heroes that he was going to work with... well, at least with three others that is. He knows that they'll be divided into teams, with three going with Robin, and the rest with Phoebe, aka Exusia. However, he didn't know who he is going to be commanding. As he relaxes, he then blatantly asks:

"Seriously, where is everyone else? Should the commanders be already meeting us here by now?"

The clock just turned to 9:45 as the doors opposite to where the heroes came in opened. Robin turns around to see who just arrived on scene. At last... they finally arrived! The figures of Soldier 76 (Commander Morrison), Mercy, Tracer, Ana, Torbjörn, and Reinhardt enter the room gloriously as all attention would most certainly be placed upon them. The Overwatch veterans spread out, with Morrison standing near the middle of the wall. Ana, Torbjörn, and Tracer would be flanking his right, while Mercy and Reinhardt flank his left. With a hand up, Soldier 76 calls for silence in the room.

Commander Morrison

"Morning heroes." he says calmly, his mask surveying the area around him, "Glad to see you all here. I hope you all had plenty of rest and ate a hearty breakfast... for today, you will all be finally put into teams of four and proceed to go on your first REAL mission. We've trained you all to become valiant heroes on the field, to put your powers and abilities into good use. Out of the various recruits that entered to become enlisted into Deltawatch, you eight have all been selected into this elite task force. You should all be proud of yourselves for making it this far."

He then looks at both Robin and Phoebe, signaling them to come up to him. Both would stand up and approach him. Robin was both excited and rather nervous while coming up, but kept a straight face as he and Phoebe would stand in front of Morrison, each receiving a firm hand on their shoulders.

"In case you need a refresher," Morrison continues, "These two volunteers, Mister Robin Davies, and Miss Phoebe Sarin, will each be leading three of you in separate teams. Though you all should've known this by now. What you all don't know, is who you'll be assigned with. We've all discussed this matter through the weekend on who will be with who... and now we've finally come to full agreement."

Morrison signals Mercy, who was holding a controller, to turn on the screen. Robin turns around to the screen to take a look at who his teammates will be. He had already heard two people calling him caps, but wasn't sure if they will be joining him. He especially didn't want T.H to be in his team...

After a few seconds, the screen finally turns on, revealing the following.

Chatter would be among the heroes, discussing their thoughts and opinions on the matter at hand. Whether it was positive, negative, or simply neutral, the results have spoken. Robin sighed in relief. For a second he thought some Deus Ex Machina stuff was going to pair him with the the tickler. Thankfully it wasn't the case. He looks back at his now confirmed teammates, Lux, Flashover, and Clover, smiling at them.

"This is what we've all come up." the commander then says, "Like em' or hate em', this is where you will be from this day forward. I'm sure you will all get along just fine. Now before I go over your first mission, are there any questions about who you're with or any concerns that need to be addressed?"

Reaper
Talon Headquarters: Control Center 03

One by one, the Talon forces came to Reaper's position. He didn't turn around to greet them, in fact, it almost seemed like he didn't notice them. Yet he knew and recognized everyone coming through the door.

Viper was the first to come in, a revered Toxicologist, he was trained with various toxins and poisons. He certainly shouldn't be trifled with. Sanguine was the next agent to come in, a prior Military Technology Consultant, he was a good counter to swordsmen Overwatch agents, such as like likes of Genji and Hanzo. Then Medix came in, the almost psychopathic doctor, looking as if she just came out of torturing someone, which Reaper actually ordered her to do so to the agent who tried to defect. He wanted his death to be slow and painful as possible. A minute passes by, as the clock strikes 9:44. A solemn growl comes from Reaper as he still looks out the window.

"It appears some of us are painfully slow today..." he hisses slowly, still looking outside, "It'll be a shame to punish them for not being on time."

He wasn't mentioning the three that came in rather early, rather the others that have yet to arrive. Just then, everyone in the room could hear clanking noises coming closer to the door. Eventually, the figure reveals himself as an omnic. An omnic, going by the name Heliox. The Commando omnic had just came out of repairs after his last mission and looks better then ever, the metal glossing over the faint lights that were above them.

"Heliox reporting." salutes Heliox in a deep, robotic voice, "My repairs have been completed. Ready for your orders."

Reaper still doesn't respond. There are just a few more agents that need to show up. And they are running out of time...

T.H.

"Cool! Can't wait to work you three! I'll be sure to heal the ones who wouldn't mind being tickled, otherwise I'll be darn near to useless hehe. Then again, copying you guys' equipment and fighting styles shouldn't be too hard...but a pain and a waste of my occupation being a doctor. Besides, tickling is perfectly fine! You guys treat it as if it was poison...well most of you anyway. Hope to be of importance to the group hehe."

T.H. does a bow to the cyborg ninja, the squad commander, and the other inventor. He does keep his eyes on the inventor for a moment and tickles her side a few times to wake her up. Tickling was also a good way to get one's blood flowing whether it was for healing or just waking someone up after all. He knew the ninja and the leader won't be happy with his healing ability through tickling but if they don't want it, he doesn't have to give it to them. Then he would just say that it wasn't his fault due to the problems of the others...he was going to do his best to help others but if the others don't want it, then he can't argue. Louis checks out his hands for a moment then goes to his wristwatch to make sure the Nano-Machines were at 100% capacity still...which they were of course. He still had his tools in his pockets in case he had to do a quick production trick, and still had his mimic tricks to do in case no one needed the healing. There were more to this tickler then meets the eye, and he would rather let everyone know he can tickle...for now.

"Let's save a ton of lives today team!"

Scorn

Scorn merrily skipped her way down the hallways to the hangar. By now most ignored her odd ways and didn't even give a second glance to her. She kept a leisurely pace to her skipping, counting the seconds in her head. While she might of worked for Talon for the time, she didn't always enjoy being called like a dog on a leash, so when told to meet up in a given time frame, she normally was one of the lasts to arrive, still in the given amount of time, even if it was normally cutting it close. Scorn also knew it irritated Reaper to which gave her all the more pleasure of doing it. She held some respect to the leader of their little group of misfits but that was about it, most of the time she avoided the skull masked leader.

Like usually she entered to find herself one of the last to make it the group."Still a minute to spare," Scorn sang merrily to herself as she found her own chair to sit in giving an eerie smile to all there ",Well what a merry party this is indeed." She looked around at the others. Viper she enjoyed through his style could of used work especially know since it looked that whatever work he had going on had decided to come to the meeting as well. Sanguine was decent, fine to talk with if she was bored and her mind decided to stick together for a bit, but he had those dull senses of morals that she could never get behind. Medix was her favorite perhaps of all the others in the group, having some enjoyment watching what she did even if she didn't understand it all. Then finally the robot, Heliox. Scorn still was unsure, she had no real love for the Omnics, and the fact it seemed entirely loyal to Talon made her not stay much around it. Undying loyalty just wasn't her cup of tea and eventually she assumed this deal with Talon would end but for the present moment onward she was stuck with them so she had to play nice.

"So what's the operation? Time is ticking," Scorn asked with a smirk tapping a long claw against her other wrist.

Flashover

Michael frowned suddenly at D-A's response. "Aw geeze, guy, I wasn't even thinking. Didn't mean anything by it, promise." Mike regained his cheery grin, nodding, as though the matter were settled. He hoped he hadn't offended the cyborg too much. Mike was just feeling hungry, and wanted to finish eating. Michael hadn'teven considered the fact that D-A couldn't eat anymore, he merely assumed D-A ate whenever he wasn't looking.

D-A looked away, relieving Michael of the awkwardness of his unintended slight, though his attention was drawn right back toward the cyborg, but this time to the smaller figure of Zhi-Ya, who was currently slumped against D-A's shoulder. Suppressing a grin, Mike turned his gaze away from the pair. While he was used to the concept of a terrible sleep schedule, having spend three years in a firehouse, it was still somewhat cute to see Zhi-Ya's smaller frame slumped against the cyborg body of D-A.

With a quick turn, Michael snapped to attention at the sound of the Overwatch leadership entering the room, to give a briefing. Michael listened intently, enthused to learn his position in Robin's squad, and that they were being sent out on their first mission. He could hardly stay in his seat as excitement practically radiated from his person. Michael caught the smile Robin tossed his way, and responded by grinning ear to ear, and giving an enthusiastic nod. As the briefing came to a close, Soldier 76 asked for questions, and Michael spoke up. "Oh! What's the mission? Uh, sir!"
