What Vivienne didn't realize, was that the young man grabbed a second sword off the artillery belt, and willingly joined her on the teetering cart. Swiping and blocking, Vivienne tried aiming for his legs, bust was once again blocked. With the remnants of the iron manacles still on her wrists, it was getting very hard to strike at him without hesitation in her reflexes.

Striking upon his head, she was getting very annoyed by his uncanny skill, although she didn't want to assume aloud that she admired it. Besides, he wasn't of her concern, or top priority, whether spared or not. With that thought of, the devious brunette gave him a wink before giving a "can-can"-like kick to his face, knocking him backwards off the cart.

Her kick, and wink truth be told, caught him off guard. He had a counter though, stabbing upwards with his blade, through her manacles and stuck them to the wooden beams above them before he was knocked off. He hit the ground and the air was knocked out of him, and he blinked, shaking his head and gathering his senses. He finally got to his feet, and stepped back onto the teetering plank now firmly weighed down on his side. @AngelBites15

Feeling her left arm getting flung upwards, Vivienne could only see that the blacksmith thought outside the box, and put her into a predicament. One hand down, she thought. Or rather, up? it was the irony. That's what frustrated her. At least she knocked him down to give herself some time. She pulled and tugged, but the weapon didn't budge from the beam above her.

Grunting in frustration, the brunette lifted her body up, so she would be upside down right below the beam, using her feet to try and pull the blade free. She didn't realize there wasn't any weight below her, and as she fell, she didn't realize that she was the counterweight. Falling onto the teeter, she rolled off of it, shaking her head to gather her senses. Free and concious, she looked around for the young male, but having to glance up, she knew he wouldn't be too far away.

Will gave a wicked grin as she looked up to him, and he cut the rope that held up various tools that easily weighed as much, if not more than he himself did. The rope broke, sending them falling onto where he had been launched up, hitting the teetering platform and sending Vivienne flying upwards just as he had been. If she didn't collect herself soon, he'd have her.

Vivienne looked at the young blacksmith with a wicked grin, until he flashed back at her the same way. Before she knew it, he cut the rope that held the tools and catapulted her up to his level upon the ceiling beams.

Damn me and my arrogance

Managing to catch the wooden beam before her, the brunette composed herself as she glared at the male challengingly, pulling herself up so she was balancing herself on the wooden piece. Her smile was still there before she advanced on him with swings of her sword, while jumping and balancing herself on the ceiling's support beams at the same time.

Time and time again, Vivienne was using her typical body language to taunt, or distract him: winks and smiles. She didn't want to stay up here too long with him, and she could clearly see that he didn't want to either; so for that, she jumped off the beams, and onto the worktable nearby.

Will pursued her, the constant teasing nagging at not only his sensibilities as a gentlemen but as a man in general. He would put an end to the farce, and leaped down off the rafters to fall right into her trap. A billow of dust and run off from one of the bloomery's filters caught him straight in the face, obscuring his vision and causing him to hack and cough. He still had his sword however, and brandished it, about to leap forward when he had a line of sight, only to find a cocked pistol in his way. @AngelBites15

There was indeed a pistol being cocked at the young man's face, and Vivienne was giving him a serious, grim expression upon her visage, all ticks of the flirting teasing from earlier, gone. Her blue eyes were boring into his own as she looked stalked forward towards him a little. "And I thought you were a professional fighter", the brunette stated, until she heard banging coming from the front door. They found her! She needed to leave. Now! Noticing the blacksmith blocking the path to the backdoor, the brunette was getting impatient. "Move away, sweetheart", she told him, almost getting desperate.

"You cheated," he spat, then realized the irony of announcing such a thing, her being a pirate and all. The Pistol did indeed keep him from forcing her to use it by attacking, but he would die before he let her leave. "No." he delcared, backing up a pace to get even further in her way barring the only path to the door. "I cannot just step aside and let you escape." he told her, his eyes steeled with resolve.

Vivienne was almost to putting her finger on the trigger, and shoot the young man before her anyway. But like before, the brunette didn't seem to have it in her to kill an innocent person. It only reminded her of the girl she just spared. She hardened her gaze towards him, and flicked the switch. "This shot, love, is not for you", she confessed to him. "You don't deserve it", she added with sympathy showing on her beautiful features. What she didn't notice was someone hitting the back of her head. She did feel herself getting a bit ditzy, before falling forward at Will's feet.

Will caught her just in time, and blinked in surprise at his master smith standing over where Vivvienne had stood, holding a broken bottle of rum. His surprise was lost as he looked down to the woman in his arms. Despite himself, she truly was fetching, even beautiful. He moved some of her strands of long hair away from her fine lips.

With that, the doors were kicked in and Redcoats spilled into the smithy with Commodore Norrington at the fore. They surrounded Will and Vivvienne, and the young Blacksmith set her down and backed away. Commodore Norrington huffed. "Good job mister Brown. You've aided in the capturing of a dangerous fugitive." he said.

"Just doing my civic duty sir." he slurred. Will rolled his eyes. "Well gentlemen, let this day be remembered as the day that the mysterious bonnie lass of piracy almost escaped. Take her away."@AngelBites15

Vivienne was out cold; where she was caught by someone, and up to the point where she found herself waking up within one of the cells of Port Royal's brigs. She growled in frustration, even after finding that her effects were removed from her figure; searched her throughly it would seem, if she was ever gonna slip a tiny blade from her boot.

She looked at the window that was above her, Vivienne slumped down upon the floor, leaning against the cell door, and registering that the young man she fought was familiar; it was pictured right upon his dashing facials. His ability to weave a sword was uncanny, and Vivienme did admit that he even had such skill to fend her off. Was he absolutely sure that he didn't have any familiarity with pirates?

The brunette chuckled in amusement at the thought, eventually letting herself stare at the window before her. She just wished that one of these days, she would let herself good mad on such thoughts...

------------------------

At the Swann family mansion,

One of the maids placed a heater within Elizabeth's bed mattress, while adding another for the guest bed that Abigail will temporarily sleep on, across from her eldest cousin, who was reading a book, and occassionally casting a glance at the youngest, who seems troubled at the room's window.

"So...", Elizabeth drawled, clearly trying to get her attention. "Today's been rather difficult, huh?", she asked, trying to bring up a conversation. "Being threatened by a pirate", she spat the last the word with a hint of bitterness. "Was she terrifying?"

Abigail stared out the window, lost in thought and trying to decipher how she felt about the previous day's events. It was so surreal that she couldn't quite believe she had both experienced and lived through drowning, threats, pirates...
"Hmmm?" she uttered, and turned to see Elizabeth staring at her. "O-oh yes. Absolutely dreadful." Her words were less convincing thanb she would have liked, but it didn't matter. Abigail was certain that Elizabeth would believe her. She desperately wanted to change the subject. "How are you and the Commodore doing? He's a fine man, I hear. Though that young Will Turner who met us today, he's a fine man too, I see."

Elizabeth thought about the Commodore, as soon as Abigail mentioned about him. "I have to admit, he is a smart match for me. He's someone every women should dream of marrying", she confirmed to the young, burgundy-brown-haired girl in the distance. She really did have to admit this aloud: Commodore Norrington was a man of status and reputation, always being bound by the law, and always doing the society a favor by ridding the pirates that trespass upon their British borders.

Now, with her childhood friend Will Turner being brought up, Elizabeth gave a slight frown. "I beg your pardon, but that's too bold. We're just friends, that's all", she insisted before going back to her book, leaving Abigail to herself.

Abigail nodded, shrinking inwardly as she was left to her own thoughts. Idly, she toyed with the pendant around her neck. It was an unremarkable necklace but, somehow it seemed significant to the pirate activities of today. It gave her comfort, that it was indeed so near to her at the moment. She gazed out of the window on this moonlit night, lost in thought of what was to come.

The hammering of the forge didn't bring the respite to Will's thoughts as he had hoped it would. The young man wiped the sweat off of his brow, and continued with his work. The heat of the fire encompassing him like this pirate today had invaded his thoughts. He felt he couldn't get her off his mind, and the idea of it unnerved him. Why was he thinking this way? She was just a bloody pirate, and he was besotted with Elizabeth after all. He loved her...right?

Deep within the night, the dark ship loomed over the calm sea like the spirit of death itself, gliding ever closer to Port Royale and its unsuspecting inhabitants. @AngelBites15

Vivienne, unaware of the outside of her cell, was laying in the ground, her hair fanned out, with the light of the moon shining upon her youthful face. A few sighs of boredom came up every move and then by herself until....

"INCOMING!"

Vivienne heard the yell outside of the brig, just until she heard the thundering sound of a cannonball hitting the cell walls, blowing a giant hole into her cell. She made a yell of surprise as the dust brushed over her and her saloon-like dress. With much effort, she looked out of the giant hole, and before her was a sight she didn't expect to see: the nightly view of the harbor...with a ship blowing projectiles upon the town.

She needed to hurry; she skedaddled upon the rocks, and moved herself to the town, which is already under chaos and destruction. Screams, explosions, pirates running amok, and...the blacksmith fighting back? What was he doing?, she thought. "Say goodbye!", she heard the pirate he was fighting say. Quickly, and out in great speed, she whipped out the pistol on her belt, and took her shot, smoke ascending from the head. "Goodbye", she gave the comeback with a grim expression.

Will blinked as the pirate got knocked into the window by a pistol shot. "Goodbye." he heard, but couldn't quite pinpoint where it had come from in the tumult of the street, and strode further into the fray like a dashing hero out of a schoolboy's novel. He skidded to a stop in the road when he blinked, confused to see Vivvienne, the last person he expected to see standing triumphantly with a smoking pistol. He pointed his sword at her. "Are you responsible for this? You brought these pirates here didn't you?"

Meanwhile, the front gate of the Governor's mansion was yanked open by an overwhelming mob of pirates who sought nothing more than the collection of a certain higher class family, perhaps just a family member would do? Abigal Ashford was cowering in the corner when one of the maids told her to go and hide. She needed to flee or would be caught, so reluctantly she fled into the main foyer just in time to see the pirates break in. "NO!" she cried, but the pistol shot rang and the servant fell dead.

Vivienne smirked at her victory, as soon as she noticed the young man gaping confusingly at her brilliance. "Surprised to see me, love?", she shouted over the noise rhetorically, before putting the pistol down to dangle at her side. "You didn't think a simple cell would hold me forever now, did you?", she began to walk towards him, but she couldn't get any further when the point of his sword came into view. Again?, she thought while her hands went up half-way. "Easy, sweetheart, this was not of my doing", she told him. "In fact, I didn't know they were coming", Vivienne added, before taking a glance over his shoulder at an incoming foe. "You might want to turn around", she cooly advised him, but before she could say anything further, he was already hit, knocked out cold...

--------------------------------

Elizabeth ran to her room's balcony, and saw the incoming mob of pirates running towards her family's mansion. Noticing her Abigail behind her in the room that they shared, the blonde moved her to the farthest part of her bedroom. "Listen to me, Abbey", she whispered, using her nickname. "Whatever you see, or hear, don't scream", she instructed before running out of the room to try and warn the servants upstairs. She didn't notice Abigail running downstairs.

It was too late; sinister cackles came from the intruders as they stormed into the mansion, terrorizing the servants and stealing the treasured valuables. "Up there!", two already pointed at Abigail at the top of the stairs; the chandelier already falling onto the middle of the floor, crashing.

-------------------------------

It was nearly dawn; Vivienne ended up dragging the blacksmith's body by gripping under his arms, walking backwards and pulled him into a random, already-destroyed building. Getting spotted by Norrington was the last thing she needed. Folding a blanket, or a large rag, to be used as a pillow, the brunette laid his head upon it, comfortably. Sitting at his side, she moved a piece of his dark brown hair from his handsome features, and scanned him over, practically waiting for him to awaken.

Despite Abigail's most heroic and sly efforts, she was unfortunately captured by the fierce pirates and sent off into heaven's knows where with an unknown enemy with a dark secret. All of this was of no concern to young mister William Turner yet, for he was just waking up to see a sight that was easy on the eyes to say the least, though of course his wits quickly caught up with him. "You...how am I here?" he asked, sitting up as best he could. His head felt like it had been bludgeoned, and he realized that was probably exactly what had happened. "You saved me?" He seemed too incredulous and surprised to be mad or unreasonably animated at this pirate's escape at the moment. @AngelBites15

Vivienne's gaze on the blacksmith was casually neutral, as if it was a typical action she saw everyday, while she was sitting next to the young male's laying form, cleaning off her sword with a rag. Casting an occassional glance at him, she couldn't help but find his face very similar to someone she knew, or even met. The brunette couldn't quite put her finger on it. However, with him starting to stir himself awake, she didn't flinch but just watched him; observing him. "You were hit in the back of the head, even though I did warn you to turn around", she just casually answered him, while shifting her sitting position to stand up. The dress' bustle was a mess, slightly torn in distress on some places, but where is her concern? Not there.

"If you would heed my warning, you wouldn't have 'slept' through the night. Since I couldn't stay on the road; I just couldn't leave a 'specimen' like you laying around", the brunette pointed out before giving off the same light tease she gave him the day before. Noticing that he was obviously confused, she gave a sigh. "Tell me, love. What's your name?", she curiously asked, pausing in her cleaning of the sword.

"Specimen," he breath with a suave, raised eyebrow as he sat up. He rubbed the back of his head and groaned, sitting up fully. He noticed her examining him in some way, but decided not to mention it at first. He supposed even a Pirate deserved to know his name after having saved him from other, less savory men. "Will. Will Turner." he told her, rubbing his neck. @AngelBites15
