My attention to detail is one of those things that people mention a lot; honestly, nothing gets passed me. If there's the slightest difference between the feeling of two kinds of photocopy paper, I'll notice it (as an infant, I refused to draw on certain types of paper because I noticed it). If there's the tiniest contradiction or flaw - no matter small - in a person's argument or idea or plotline, I'll notice it. If there's the slightest hint that someone is lying or hiding something from me in their tone, body language, or behaviour, I'll notice it. I pretty much spoil stories for myself all the time because I pick up on the foreshadowing every single time, and notice little things most people usually won't think about. I read people to the point that I know why they're acting a certain way before they even realize why.

One of the reasons I can read people - to the point that I called 'psychic' all the bloody time - is that attention to detail. I'm an extreme perfectionist too, which is why I never miss details and why I deconstruct and reconstruct my own ideas constantly to make sure I'm not missing anything. Pretty much the only thing that I can't read into is all the stupid internet language people use online -- I'm really not a fan of that sort of thing. This is why most of my misunderstandings and arguments are generated from people using memes, slang, or emojis (the other times it's when they disrespect me or offend my principles).

As for what you said about having natural leadership qualities, I went into detail in our PM thread about how I've got those too, despite how weird it is. 'Charisma' and leadership are something that people constantly attribute to me despite the fact that I'm an introverted nutcase. When all is said and done though, I'm a leader and never a follower.

On the subject of martial arts, I've got an aptitude for it mostly due to the same attention to detail and perfectionism I mentioned earlier, but thanks to my physical conditions I'll never be able to optimize that gift or really realize any of my potential. The best way to think of it is this -- I can pretty much forcibly give myself adrenaline rushes that most people only get under dire stress or desperation, pretty much on command.

The problem? Due to my physical encumbrances (I won't go into the conditions -- too busy), I actually have to do that in order to do basic everyday things that other people do normally. The strain that does to my body is probably killing me. So unless I found a martial art that was very good for fluidity and easy on the strain (I'm sure it exists -- it's probably an Asian martial art like Tai-Chi), it wouldn't work for me, because I'd actually be severely hurting myself just training. Even doing small things like tying shoe-laces (there's a reason I wear Velcro shoes) or typing on a keyboard (like this) or playing a video game (ironic for someone who plays at such a high level) is extremely painful. So why am I typing all of this? Well, I guess I'm just soldiering the fuck on, aren't I? It's one of reasons I get pissed off when people don't appreciate the effort I put into giving them long replies though -- 'try walking in my shoes' is what I keep thinking.

As for the golf -- that's interesting. I don't actually have much experience with golf... Just a little bit of mini-golf here and there a couple of times. As for the swimming, I actually do a lot of my strengthening exercises underneath water. I'm not even joking -- I basically practical martial arts in the pool, and it works bloody wonders for me. One of my conditions that we think I have is fibromyalgia (fuck this is a nasty ailment) -- if you know what that is, it'll probably make more sense to you why those water exercises help me. I just wish I could get to the indoor pool more often, because I really hate sand and the beach doesn't work.

Am I a water sign? Scorpio here, and - yes - that's probably why I'm such an 'asshole' (who cares more about others than most people probably could imagine). Not that I actually follow astrology or anything, since I don't think I've ever read a horoscope that completely fit what was happening to me (I don't read them often anyway), but this webpage actually weirded me the hell out when I saw it about six years ago. Who the fuck was stalking me when they wrote that? I've looked over damn near every other date on that site now, and this is the only one that screamed 'me'. Is astrology irrational? Sure. Is astrology strange? Sure. Is that a coincidence? I don't really believe in coincidence, even though my idea of 'fate' is a bit unorthodox to say the least. Actually, I've mentioned I'm a Scorpio on my user bio. That link, by the way? I use it to decide my characters' birthdays, mostly because it fit me and @Ailyn Evensen so well. It's not a bizarre question -- I've been asked before when I mention I like water.

Also, how you describe yourself both now and in the PMs sounds close to what other Scorpios I met, though I know people don't enjoy being compared to others, so, sorry about that! It's just something I noticed haha (sorry for not giving a longer response to your extremely detailed and well-thought out post, I'm exhausted at the moment, have a massive headache, and can't focus all too well).
