Name: Neviana Sarin
Species: Miraluka
Appearance: Neviana’s appearance closely resembles a human’s, even to the point where she has eyes because one of her parents was human, although she still sees like other Miraluka do as her eyes are blind; she has a scar on the left side of her face, going down her eye, she stands at around five foot six inches, brunette hair that goes down to her back and sun-kissed skin and a slim figure. Her apparel she chooses to wear is a regular strip of cloth to cover her eyes, for the rest of her body, she wears a well fitting black tunic with the right sleeve missing from it, black pants and shoes as well as a dark cloak.
Age: 19
Occupation: Acolyte (Former Padawan)
Teacher: Xar Vost
Equipment: She carries with her a belt with various pouches, inside some of them carry stims that increase her strength and allow for longer use of some of her force powers; a small med kit and a datapad and communicator.
Lightsaber: When it first came to constructing her first lightsaber, Neviana put heavy thought into crafting her lightsaber, it took her weeks just deciding what type she had wanted, but ultimately, she decided to go with a double-bladed style. She spent weeks crafting the style of blade, the ends having small protruding points for better grip with the center that houses the kyber crystal is transparent, allowing for easy viewing of the crystal itself and black accents on it to complete the look.
When it came to the type of kyber crystal she wanted, it took her even longer to decide, there were many and not just for the colors they produced but also what would compliment her force and combat style. One day when she had been on a mission with her master, there had been a treasure hunter claiming to have all sorts of valuables a Jedi wouldn’t be able to pass up, amongst them were various kyber crystals, but a violet one in particular had caught her eye.
The treasure hunter explained that it was a rare crystal that he found on a planet in unknown space, Neviana was suspicious he had just been saying it to try and get a higher price for it, but with some skills of persuasion, she managed to get it down to about what he was selling the others for and with the final piece added, her lightsaber was complete.

Personality: Neviana is cold and uncaring on the surface, she mostly looks out for herself unless it benefits her in some way; she enjoys fighting as well as harming others, especially through torture and seeks to satisfy her dark craving in anyway possible. Even when she was a young Padawan, she would spend some of her free time studying records of the Sith, the wars they fought it, how they killed their opponent, how they tortured them, even though they were meant to be studied for a different reason, they actually fed her dark desire.
She left the Order after a while whilst she was still a Padawan, a disagreement during a mission with her master escalated to the two of them clashing their blades with one another. That was all that was needed to push her disagreement with how the Jedi operated into full blown hate for them and for her master. Deep down at her core however, there’s a small part of her that still cares for the Jedi, the part of her she has been trying to get rid of but has been unable to. Now her only ambition is to kill those that are tied to her past, her old friends and former master, Sauril Vestnic, she feels that those ties are what prevent her from getting stronger, from fully embracing the dark side and becoming the most powerful being in the galaxy.
History: Neviana doesn’t remember much about her early childhood, only that her mother is a Miraluka like her and that her father was Human and a Jedi, though she never learned much about her father, only bits that her mother knew; like many Jedi, Neviana was whisked away by a member from the Order when she was still young, and began a long and arduous journey to becoming a Jedi. She took to learning the ways of the force quickly as did she with her lightsaber training, many teachers felt she showed great promise and could be a great Jedi when the time came.
However as the years went by, some of the Jedi became concerned with Neviana, she spent much of her time studying the archives of past Sith battles, it was thought nothing of at first, but concern soon set in when she would ask questions about the Sith that were overly enthusiastic, at least when compared to how she spoke about the order. When she became a Padawan, she was assigned to Sauril Vestnic, the Jedi masters felt he would be best to help her keep her on the proper path of becoming a Jedi and could get her to avoid being so engrossed by Sith history.
It seemed like the match was perfect, the two go along with one another and Sauril did his best to keep her attention focused on the light side of the force and the Jedi teachings, but once more, her attention would return to thoughts of the Sith, the powers they could use such as force lightning and how a power like that could be useful to the Order. She was taught new saber forms, the first being Niman, Sauril felt that form would help keep her in balance, it was a neutral form in terms of offense and defense, but Neviana didn’t take to it, so the next form he taught her was Ataru, this one seemed to fit a little better and she stuck with it for the most part.
That was until she came across some recordings of the Juyo form, she was amazed with the aggressiveness of the form and how quickly it could dispatch opponents and began practicing the form, not until a sparring match with her master did he know that she had been learning that combat style. He instantly put a stop to it, forbidding her from practicing it any further, with her already so focused on dark side powers and the Sith, Sauril felt that her using a combat form so aggressive could send her down the dark path and he didn’t want that for his student, she was impulsive like many other young Jedi, but he could see deep down she just wanted to make the Order proud; Neviana argued with her master when he forbade her from using Juyo anymore, which she reluctantly agreed to but continued to practice the aggressive form in secret.
The Miraluka in training still struggled with the path of light as the years passed, plus now Neviana had become impatient with taking her trials to become a Jedi, something that Sauril wanted to allow her to do, but he had some doubts on whether she was truly ready to begin them or not. The two had been sent to a luxury cruise ship near the outer rim, pirates had boarded it, robbing the patrons aboard and were holding them for ransom. Neviana wanted to go in and kill them before they had a chance to do anything, but her master reminded her they were peacekeepers and that meant using diplomacy first and resorting to combat only as a last resort.
She reluctantly went along with her master’s choice, though negotiations didn’t last long as they asked for an outrageous amount of credits and were denied by her master, knowing that there was no way the Republic would pay such a high ransom; the pirates responded in kind by killing some of the hostages, only to be stopped when Sauril and Neviana drew their weapons, fighting the pirates and subduing them. Neviana couldn’t help but be angry when she looked to the bodies of the people they unfortunately couldn’t save, she knew if they had attacked right away they could have saved them, also what didn’t help was the pirates talking amongst themselves, saying how they would only be put in cells and how it wouldn’t take long for them to be busted out of prison.
Neviana knew that they were right, they wouldn’t face a serious punishment, just jail time and would most likely be broken out, without thinking, she had ignited her weapon cut one of them in half, soon doing that to the others until her master’s blade blocked hers from striking anymore of them down. She argued why they should die, but when he still wouldn’t let her enact what she thought was justice, she fought him instead, a long fight ensued between the two of them, the battle however was ultimately won by Sauril. He attempted to bring her back to get her some help that he saw she needed, but she stopped him from doing by bringing down a pillar on the remaining pirates, forcing him to stop it from crushing him and allowing her to escape on one of their ships.
Later a dark Jedi came across her named Xar Vost, sensing the darkness in her, he offered to train her in the ways of the dark side of the force, seeing as how she attacked her master, she doubted she could return to the Order and not be severely disciplined, feeling she had no other options, she accepted the dark Jedi’s offer and for the past year has been in training.
