Finished the Jedi. Just need rolls for my Lt and I'm good to go.

As fun as free balling it sounds, would any body be interested in taking her in? Teaming up with a master and their padawans sounds a whole lot more fun than planet hopping in search of something to do.

If you're more on the Jedi side... There is a Jedi alliance... Plus Neia... Seems to be an overarching goal with some of them to perhaps ah, *snaps* re-establish a Jedi Order... a New one... and hunting down the Sith... who are also working together (as well as a bunch of Sith can)

Not gonna lie. I fully intended to make a Sith. But if I remember correctly, the Jedi were outnumbered last time.

They're relatively close in numbers, actually. I think the only people without a Jedi who plays a Sith are Selvi and Andrea.... And Selvi has a forceless on their side with some force-user followers last I was aware.

Can I still use the Leui's Gat rolled up for me? I had a quick look at the ships page and everything looks mostly the same with some small additions, the new pilot system caught my eye as I planned on space combat being his forte.

Those three lt's would need a slight revision (by way of the addition of a couple of traits each to match the new base rules), but other than that I don't see a problem with reusing them.

...and yes I do still have a file with them in it... Im a packrat when it comes to rp stuff. :p

Forceless Easy Sheet for now.

Name: Arnack Clarn

History: Arnack was born on Kashyyyk to one of the many families hiding from the impending war. His family were killed during the Battle of Kashyyyk leaving him with no friends or family on a world full of trees. he left on the first ship out and soon signed up for the Republic Military and in a few short years found himself in command of his own unit. A seemingly innate talent for battle tactics and great skill in hand to hand combat, gave him a chance to excel far beyond the ordinary rank and file. He was chosen to be part of a new initiative to end the force-users for good, remove the dark stain hidden in the shadows of the galaxy.

The Republic funded his Echani training and gave him a rare weapon, a Cortosis weave staff. He was sent on many missions mostly just seeking out force-senstive children and ending their existence. The few times he fought a true force user he managed to defeat them, although he felt as though there were yet bigger fish to fry, the Republic praised him and sent him back out on another mission, where he fought a true sith, somehow he knew it was for real. The Sith fought well and injured Arnack in many times never quite managing to score a killing blow. Arnack bloodied and beaten disarmed the sith and defeated him, knocking the man off a ledge into a skycar down below. The sith’s apprentice arrived and Arnack fled knowing he couldn't manage another fight in his state, he found a ship with a med bay and met Alisha.

A few months on he has fully recovered although the Republic believes he is dead. All the better to get things done his own way without all the bureaucrats and red tape.

Lieutenant History: Alisha is an excellent pilot and smuggler, Arnack acquired her services on Nar Shaddar when he was investigating suspected Force-User activity for the Republic. Am I right in thinking starting SP has nearly doubled? So all that budgeting I did to go by the old rules is useless. I'll start entering everything in by tomorrow. Although I'm busy all this weekend got my birthday on Saturday.

They are something of a hard slog, but ultimately you get far more options with them and the scale of play with a advanced rules character is closer to a nation rp. of course its entirely possible to make gains and reach that level over time with a basic rules character.

Yeah, but there's so much more competition with a faction than on your own. Especially with the more advanced character floatin' about. I might just stick with my Jedi, who I may just convert to a Sith before starting for shits and giggles. :p

Competition, not so much it is a big galaxy afterall, it all just comes down to scale. Advanced character can do a whole lot more because they have access to more resources.that said one of the 'major events' of the rp before Guildfall was a bounty hunting job more or less that saw 5 or 6 of us racing against each other to find the target, none of us used our capital ships for it (at least until the end where half of us decided to assault the fortress the target was in, even then two of us chose to sneak in quietly.) so we were all more or less playing to the basic character level at that point. The difference being our other assets could do other things at the same time.

Been done, yes, by me no less (and sarz more recently). Still crime lords have rivals, Kuryi (mine) has managed to secure himself a leadership position within the lower ranks of the Syndicate, which is basically all the major crime lords banding together in something of an alliance, think of it a little like the five families of the itallian-american mafia. Of course another character taking the crime lord path could take a different route and try to stay independent of the Syndicate, or try to move up the ranks as well. Hell when Kuryi started he didn't even have a Syndicate contact, he earned it by being one of the winning participants of the hunt I mentioned before. so its certainly possible to change your starting status through ingame stuff.

Alright so attempting to work on my sheet now, I have one problem though, I haven't used spreadsheet much since school and either it has changed a bit or I've completely forgotten how to use it. I can't paste my history in it will only enter the first paragraph right at the bottom of the cells..
