So I'm fabricating an rp that will essentially be a pvp/pve adventure Where each of the characters will be pitted against each other in the modern world by some deity. As a gm instead of playing a character I will be a sort of rule guide and such in addition to controlling npc's and keeping the story moving. I will begin to illustrate some races though if you have some sort of race you'd like to play that isn't listed, or something of your own creation, let me know and I'll see if I can make it work and balance it. If this gets enough interest checks I'll update a character sheet as well, along side more information and detail.
Races
Supernatural creatures of the night, vampires are the descendants of a clad of blood sucking demons that once terrorized the world long ago. Vampires are undead creatures that usually were once human unless if they were born as a vampire, with supernatural abilities and weaknesses. They are usually pale and resemble a human, with some exceptions. Some may have more ghastly forms then others.
Vampires on average can lift well over two tonnes, and can sprint thrice as fast as a cheetah. Most vampires can hover or fly. They are also able to regenerate extremely well, so long as their heart remains intact they can recover from any injury, even regenerating a whole body should the heart not be destroyed. The heart is the source of their 'life' force (Though they aren't considered alive.), if it is destroyed, they will die. Their hearts can be separated from their bodies, but once it leaves contact of their current body will become immobile until the heart grows a new, identical body. They can regenerate at a rapid rate, an arm could be regrown in under a minute, and there are very few limitations, though they cannot regenerate while under sunlight or exposure to other weaknesses.
Vampires do not need oxygen to live, and their bodies are more like corpses making most taxes of living unnecessary. However vampires do require blood as sustenance. While they can go for years without blood and possibly indefinitely if they remain dormant, the longer a vampire is without blood, the more difficult it is for them to control their hunger. A week is usually the breaking point.
Vampires are immortal, only being able to die if their heart is destroyed, and do not age. Exceptions are those that are born vampires, in which they will simply stop aging at a certain youthful maturity point.
The fangs of a vampire both inject their 'venom' and siphon blood. Those infected will usually turn into a vampire themselves. The venom only affects mortals, however, few supernatural creatures are compatible to be turned into vampires.
Additionally, vampires have a great sense of hearing, vision, and smell.
Vulnerabilities:
Their are various sub-classes of vampires with unique abilities and traits. below are the following:

Vulnerabilities:
- Sunlight is the most notorious vampire repellent. Exposure to sunlight or UV light burns and melts every single part of their body away, even bone and internal organs. It is difficult, but not impossible, for a vampire to survive being destroyed by sunlight, so long as they can protect their hearts.
- Their bodies become immobile in running water, or rather, liquids moving at a relatively strong pace. A typical stream or river connected to a waterfall is definitely enough to immobile them
- Holy water is the equivalent of sulfuric acid, and other holy objects can burn vampires severely such as crosses.
- Garlic is an irritant, smelling it alone to a vampire would be similar to a bear getting sprayed with bear-spray. Tasting it can cause something similar to an allergic reaction. Though it is never by itself fatal, the worst is that it forces a vampire to be dormant.
- Vitality and energy is regained by drinking blood, and to a lesser extant, going dormant can slowly recharge a vampire as well. While vampires do not need to sleep, it does help both their sanity and overall health.
- Vampire can only enter protected areas or through holy wards such as a blessed seal or a church if they are invited in. However, they do not need to be 'invited' to infiltrate houses and such, contrary to popular belief.
- They are somewhat susceptible to fire, though not their greatest weaknesses unlike other natural damage sources extreme heat such as flames can damage them well enough and harm their regeneration.
Their are various sub-classes of vampires with unique abilities and traits. below are the following:
Anima's are vampires that can shape shift into various animals. They can only shape shift into creature's that they have siphoned blood from, and while they have most of the traits of that animal, they still retain their vulnerabilities. They can also be forced out of their transformation and into their true humanoid forms if a powerful holy energy compels them too. Anima's can also transform into other supernatural creatures if they have successfully consumed their blood. However the blood of some creatures, like that of a dragon's, can be highly toxic/dangerous to consume even for a vampire.
Experienced Anima's can also only make partial transformations or morph into various amalgamations of what transformations they have access too. (For example, a lion with the wings of a bat and octopus-like tentacles, or a half-man half beast esq form.)

Liches are vampires that have necromanic abilities. Liches may resemble more ghastly abominations then traditional vampires, though this isn't true for all Liches. Liches can reanimate dead corpses into zombies/skeletons as mindless servants. The stronger and more experienced a Lich is, the more undead slaves it can create and control at a time. Mortals bitten by a lich will become a Ghoul instead of a vampire. Ghouls are similar to a zombie, but are sapient and are far more coordinated. While zombies are more limp and slow, Ghouls have the strength and speed to be a close match to a vampire, and require little to survive. So long as their brain is intact, Ghouls are 'immortal.' However they are susceptible to the will of the Lich that created them. If the Lich that made them dies, they are freed of the curse, though if they have existed for over a century as a ghoul they will become independent. Liches may also contact spirits and other supernatural spirits. Liches also have the power to decay any organic matter they touch, if they will it.
Incubus vampires (or succubus) are vampires that have extremely great charisma. Becoming an Incubus vampires will overall become more attractive in general. Incubus can subdue any mortal to their will if they stare into their eyes, putting them in a hypnosis like affect. Though it is limited, they can only hypnosis a certain number of people at a time. Other supernatural creatures are usually more resistant to this effect. Also the victim must be able to find the hypnotist attractive slightly enough for it too work, be it physical or emotional.
Not to be confused with witches, These rarest of vampire's, these subclasses have access to dark magic. Some may also possess some sort of elemental magic such as fire or wind.
Witches are an immortal, all female race of spellcasters that can only breed through other races, usually humans or something similar like a vampire. Witches are powerful spellcasters with an affinity to dark magic and potentials to learn varieties of other magic. They may also have psychic abilities such as telekinesis or being able to scry through a crystal ball. Witches may also have magic items that they can create, such as a flying broomstick or magical sword. Those that rely more on items or charms are called enchantresses.
Witches may also have a familiar, a spirit that they can make a contract with. Familiars become their servants until death, in exchange for whatever terms the familiar wishes. It can range from a mere human to a demon or other sapient entity.
Witches are powerless against water; mere contact with water (that isn't too diluted with other substances) can cause them to melt and dissolve away, even a small splash could liquefy a witch in a matter of a few minutes. Liquids such as saliva and salt water, for example, fortunately do not harm them.
Silver can also weaken their magic power if near or at contact.
Witches can regenerate like a vampire (If dry), but at a much slower pace. They cannot be killed unless their brain is destroyed.
Witches do not need to consume sustenance, and acids that would normally be harmful have no effect on them. Pathogens and other biological threats also poss little threat to a witch, as a witch is more magical then she is biological.
-I'll go more in depth about magic later, but for the most part its a 'whatever the fuck you want' type deal, though with my approval-
