The first tech squid has been defeated. Still looking forward to Ferro Lad and Bolt getting into the fight. I kinda used their non action in my post, since Ultra Boy and Momentum are both rookie heroes and Ferro and Bolt are seasoned vets in the Legion and Ungaran police force respectively.

@knighthawk Since you've been in one of these stat based games before, if you'd like to fight a tech squid or robot minion [B-3P0] in the training area [War Room? Always liked the sound of 'War Room'..] then that would be cool.

@Tengri You still needed to repost your CS in the Character Tab as well!

@Tengri - I think you goofed on the amount of attacks you used on the squid. You didn't have to get super specific when using your attacks [I made a lot of them sound vague for that reason] but taking 4 HP from the enemy and saying you attacked 3 times for some reason completely baffled me. I was thinking 'did she have the enemy use a defense and not list it or..?' but it's more likely a typo and you hit 3 rather than 4 LOL

Should look like this:

Bolt: 10 HP
Tech Squid: 5 HP [-4 HP, 4 attacks]

I was just watching Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives a moment ago while eating a late night dinner. Truthfully I can get why people wouldn't like him, but I've never had an issue with Guy. I've genuinely enjoyed recipes he's done in the past, and I did really enjoy the few places I've visited that he had on his show.

Really though, at the end of the day, I think I've just reached a time in my life where I'd rather put the effort into hating someone more if they're a genuinely clearly horrible person. Not someone who can just be kind of obnoxious sometimes.

The most of the team is still at Legion HQ. Let your character get more acquainted with her new teammates, maybe join the training session Hawk is planning, just introduce us to your character really. It's still pretty early in the game, lots of options.

@The Kid Lantern sorry about not posting tonight. Things were more than a little hectic tonight and they're likely to get more so as the week goes on. The earliest I could probably get a post up is Friday but there's still a chance that I could get something up sooner. @Tengri if you want to get a post up first and take down the robot then that's fine by me too.

I just don't wanna be the one to stomp ridiculous amounts of ass and be the only one to level up. I think I had the most posts so far but was only ahead by one post with a few of you right behind me. The IC was posted 15 days ago and now it has 18 posts. I'd say for a stat base game that's moving rather well, hell even for a standard RP that's doing well. @knighthawk had Horus address anyone who came into the training session. I think Bulk Lad and Superforce were getting in on that. So far though, Shadow hasn't interacted with anyone at HQ. She heard Horus over the PA, but you never made it clear if she was going to train or not. Which is fine if you want her to be a bit standoffish and go at stuff lone wolf/one woman wolfpack style. If you want to do some character interaction I'm looking for somebody to talk to with Ultra Boy because I want to get into where he was at on his homeworld before it was wrecked from Brainiac 5 spawned natural disasters and planet quakes. You could get some character development in there too if you want.

Hawk, Superforce, and Bulk Lad are all in the training area. We haven't heard from @Endrance Stargirl, @Aro Phantom, or @FantasyChic Miss Appear! Ultra Boy, Bolt, Momentum, and Ferro Lad will be back shortly as soon as I can get another post up.

Though the game is stat based, please don't anybody think this is all about the battles. There's plenty of room in between battles to develop our characters, forge relationships, etc. and its still very much a character driven story. Some of our characters have some deep reasons for being here, some are experienced and some are rookies and complete noobs. If one of you want to go in half cocked and try to take on a general right out of the gate to show a prideful side to your hero that's cool. The next battle I'm going to be more hands on with the enemies and really have them fight some of you back.
