Jaina Sarbye
Location: Raven Medical Bay ---> Kayala's Room
Jaina squealed a bit when the murderous droid appeared. Her eyes were wide, and at the talks of dismemberment, her excitement only increased. It would be just like the time Kordath let
her extract information from a rebel! Or perhaps when Jes let her practice her blaster skills with a few traitors! Those were some of her
favorite memories, and with this droid, it seemed they could repeat one.
"Oooh, let's~! Have you ever played spin the blaster? You set it on a timed blast, put it in the middle of the circle, and spin~! It ends when everyone except for one has been shot!" Jaina gushed, grinning madly at the murder-bot.
"Morgbra says it leaves people dead...But it's so much fun! I've always wanted to give it a go, it's been ages!" She spun around in giddy happiness, her eyes sparkling with horrors and terrors. She hardly seemed to hear Morgbra, as he insisted that anyone who was hurt would have to be sent to the wretched medical bay.
But, Jaina supposed, they could just be left there to bleed. It wasn't like tending to injuries was particularly important--what was death anyways? She had such trouble understanding it, medical bays seemed to be just cruel and unneeded. Still, the prospect of a game in the strange blonde woman's room was enticing... A puzzle?
"Jacen and I did puzzles all the time," Jaina said, her voice soft, in a somehow dreamy monotone. Anyone familiar with the names of major imperial players would recognize the name Jacen Sarbye--he was one of the Emperor's Hands, just a step removed from a Sith apprentice. Unlike her brother, Jaina was not force sensitive in the slightest.
He had attempted to
force her to become force sensitive--that was how she ended up the damaged person she was today. He invaded her mind, and attempted to rearrange it. She feared him more than anything else in the universe.
"Morgbra, is Jacen here?"
Sutton Corandel
Location: the Raven (the Bridge)
Sutton bit her lip slightly. They were cutting it incredibly close. It was possible they'd end up having to fight. But the Senator...Perhaps there was still a chance. An escape pod could be activated, assuming that the Empire wouldn't just shoot it down. But it would be up to Corrina. Her diplomatic mission was the Raven's mission. If they were captured, it wouldn't matter as much if the Senator was.
But perhaps...
"Sir, I've got an idea," Sutton prefaced, assisting Luke and Stehrr however needed as they attempted to evade Imperial control.
"Hide the Senator in a smuggling compartment. Have the Face dress up as her--pull a fast one on any boarding party. The Republic can live to fight another day without us--but the Senator's mission is more important. She can complete it if she gets away."Of course, there was another notion Sutton had. The Face could be hidden away, and given Corrina's clothing. She could then escape, and complete the Senator's mission. The Face could more than handle herself, able to get by better than the Senator ever could. And it wasn't like the Hutts would recognize Corrina if they saw her. The Face's trick wouldn't be detected immediately.
"Luke, we need one of them hidden away--even if the Face completes the mission instead of Corrina. It's time for a back up plan."Hopefully, they wouldn't need it.
Zenie Skyron
Location: The Bridge; Vindicator
Sure, it had been a
little insulting when Kordath hadn't requested him to go with them to fight. It wasn't like Zenie could trick the rebels or anything! Still, the man was notoriously anti-alien, and in the form Zenie always used to talk with the Commodore, there wasn't much else he could do. Perfect impersonations were impossible as well. It wasn't like Zenie could have pretended to be Morgbra or anything, to ensure he got to go on the away mission.
"You seem smug, becea echuta," Zenie commented, smirking at Kordath as he leaned over his shoulder.
"It wasn't like you messed up the mission or anything, hmm? You certainly weren't shot by your pet freak either?" Zenie commented, before his features lit up in mock surprise.
"Wait, that was you! Kava janse woy uba canta cheespa pinteba dauah che? Dopa yay cuee ree bu cuee? uba doth banieie du bu bapm, winbekhia."Zenie took a step back, as to not interfere with the Commodore's call, but still to be in range to mess with Kordath. He winked at Kordath, sticking out his tongue slightly. As he did so, the tongue changed to be forked, just like a serpent's, for the briefest of moments. And while Zenie hid it well, even that small change brought the phantom of a headache to them. Of all the shapeshifting species, the clawdites were the only one who experienced pain during changes.
That was his lot in life.
