Name: Vanitas Suda
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Height:5'8"
Weight: 169 lbs
Personality:Vanitas is a an extremely coordinated and composed person, always known to for keeping his composure even in the most harshest of situations regardless of how grim it may be. Vanitas for the most part is extremely manipulative and calculating when interacting with others, particularly women; Valtus, who has kept an a eye on him as his father, describes him as a very charismatic individual that apparently uses deception and cunning tactics to gain the upper hand, utilizing a combination of quick thinking and a natural leadership skills to get what he wants. He is very cautious when giving his trust in others, never truly allowing himself to align with anyone else without being absolutely sure of where their allegiance lies and how it will affect him, always keeping his own interests and well-being ahead of the curve, keeping himself a few steps ahead in order to predict the outcome of ahead of time and react accordingly. He is widely known to possesses the same impressive qualities and proficiency in battle that identify him as his father's son, however, Vanitas, more than anything in this world, despises his father Valtus with a level of rage that makes it unparalleled. Stemming from the fact that he was raised with by his mother without his father's support, he grew up in the small town of Cedar for most of his life, unlocking his quirk later in life the moment he became 8 years old. It hasn't until after his mother passed away when he was 11 years old that an immeasurable level of outrage emerged, holding a sense of disdain for his father for the simple fact that he wasn't present for her funeral; this single moment shaped him into the person that he is today.
Even with his angry personality, he does choose to keep his problems and fights to himself, always choosing to do things single-handedly without the aid of others; this is reflected in his concern about innocent people getting drawn into his battles, keeping them at a safe distance in order to not involve them. As bad as he does seem to be, he isn't completely heartless, Vanitas does show a level of restraint when kids are involved. He has an extreme problem with authority figures and those in control, primarily due to the simple fact that Vanitas absolutely dislikes being told what he can and can't do, often introducing him as a rough delinquent with zero respect for the law or anyone who upholds it. His sense of freedom and ability to moves as he likes is one of the few liberties he enjoys, traveling to vast locations simply because he feels like it. Even with this outlook on law and order, Vanitas in no way considers himself good and willingly seeks to be a hero, in his own way. He is highly perceptive, intelligent and quick-witted while keeping a perpetually cool, slightly disinterested attitude toward others. Vanitas has a tendency to never back down from a fight when challenged or when he issues the challenge, refusing to run once prepping himself for a fight; regardless of how strong, how big, or powerful they may be, Vanitas never runs or flees. Because of this, most people believe that Vanitas possesses some kind of death wish, but in truth, it is simply his way of exerting his dominance and strength in order for others to recognize the gap of power between themselves and him.
Background:Star-Girl, and Graviton were the names of the greatest heroes of their time before retiring over 26 years ago to start a family together. Their injuries at the hands of a villain helped them find eachother and give birth to a child that would take on the expectations they once held as heroes. Vanitus was born to their grand legacy, a pressure he could barely stand at times especially with his father a high ranking official of the Hero Association. His mother moved to a small town in Italy to get away from the bustle and to properly train her son in case his quirk ever manifested.
Vanitas spent most of his life training and having to watch his father abandon him. Most people would go villain and rebel at the thought of their father leaving them for the heroes but his mother kept Vanitas from ever falling to that darkness. Even with her death, Vanitas was able to soldier on under his father's guardianship. He would take his family name to the Hero Academy in Japan and become the hero his mother always wanted him to be even if it meant satisfying his father's goals.
Quirk:Photosynthesis
Classification: Emitter
Description: Photosynthesis is a Emitter Quirk. This Quirk functions by allowing Vanitas to absorb sunlight, and solar energy, and then later utilize them in combat in various forms, whether they be flames, or lasers. As such, the Quirk itself has a drawback, this is that it has a limited amount of fuel, which is the sunlight and solar energy, and as such must be recharged. If Vanitas manages to release all of the light stored within him, it will take him a while to recharge once more. The name of this quirk itself however, is not in vain.
While it can be used offensively, it can also be used defensively. Like photosynthesis, this Quirk is able to convert sunlight and solar energy into fuel for the body, which would allow the user of the Quirk, in this case Vanitas, even enhance his physical capabilities to greater extents. It has been shown that when this quirk is being used, it is signified by a flame appearing on the user's head, as well as their eyes turning a distinctive "sun" color, of a beautiful combination of orange, yellow, and red. This in turn makes it near impossible to sneakily use the quirk.
Talents: Hand to Hand Combatant: Vanitas's skill within unarmed combat is undeniable. He commonly is seen fighting with it, and thus can be seen as a specialist. His skill, while not leading to any unique techniques, have caused most opponents to be on edge especially when combined with his Quirk. He shows the use of high-speed, but precise attacks that hit with a considerable amount of force. While he prefers to use a solid stance that uses his fists predominantly, he is content with alternating between the use of high kicks, low kicks and palm strikes in order to confuse an opponent and achieve victory.
