What about cosmological concerns? As far as I can tell, this is going to be the kind of dark/low fantasy setting where the existence and proof of deities and otherworldly powers is pretty ambiguous. Will there be demons and such?

The ambiguity of Gods and their intervention could certainly be a thing. Although I haven't thought as far as demonic presences. Though more often than not the later could be used against someone else's idea of the former.

Which is to say, interested.

Or maybe dwarves on a beach with sand-khazad's and alegaritas. Why they have to be in caves, after all?

Beardless, outdoors-loving Dwarves with a strong cultural and religious stance against alcohol consumption and a fear of confined spaces.

Originality, man. We've all seen Dwarves with beards living in mountains.

Maybe we should just have beards with beards that live in mountains. Call them "Baerdes." or something.

Than you also got orcs who are honor bound and revere life enough to put "no pillaging, no torturing, no massacring peasants" in their code and society wise prefer the higher arts.

And we call them children.

I could be interested in this, though I will admit that I would be putting forth one of the much-reviled magic-focused nations.

My basic idea is that of a surprisingly benign Necrocracy, either headed by Vampires or Mummies. I've not decided yet.

Anyways, any idea of when an OOC might be released? Or, at least, a sheet for us to begin working on nations?

As soon as I can figure out the title. Not sure if to go with a new one or the old one, which was rather unimaginative.

But this was the old app:

Country Name:
Government type: (no socialism fagts)
Ruler:
Location:
Capital City:
Population:
Religion :
Language :
Species:
Army: (Percentage)
History:
Pic: (optional, just for visualization purposes)

But that's the old app and I'm liable to cut out a few silly things here and there. So I may remove the Socialism bit all together.

I honestly wasn't planning on using a socialism system anyways so it doesn't really matter. But, anyways, do the regions on the map actually mean anything?

Yes they do.

They're broken down into geography and climate and the like. I'll hold off on the official descriptions until I get the title settled, the OP and those will follow shortly. But I don't think it'll be hard to figure out what their description will mean.

And like the world the names of these regions will be left open for cultural interpretation, which is why they're numbered in the first place.

How would socialism work in a medieval setting anyway? Collectivise the crops? Nationalise the duels?
