Premise
It's been nineteen years since the Declaration of a New Order, and as far as the average citizen knows, there is nothing but peace and prosperity. The Confederacy of Independent Systems have long since been defeated, leaving the galaxy unified under one rule again. The Jedi Order, who started the Clone Wars to destabilize the galaxy in the first place and help give them the opportunity to seize control of the Galactic Republic, have largely been purged. And while there are some misguided youths who would dare rise up against the Empire, in the end, they are always snuffed out by the Empire's seemingly infinite number of armies and fleets.
You don't have much going for you, and maybe you're feeling patriotic or like going on an adventure, so you decide to join the Empire! You don't know that the Emperor is a dark lord of the Sith, that the Jedi were really innocent and you haven't seen enough of the galaxy yet to realize that the Empire, at it's core, is really an authoritarian regime who will crush even the slightest sign of dissidence. Maybe you've heard whispers of rebellion, maybe somebody's tried to warn you about the truth, but what do they really know? They're a rebel, or at least a supporter of the rebellion! Why would you believe the word of a terrorist over the government? Or maybe you didn't have a choice. You're a smuggler, you're neck deep in debt with the Hutts, and you've seen just enough to know the Empire is a little oppressive. But it's either spend a life on the run from bounty hunters who want to kill you or join the Empire, where maybe you'll be safe. OK Sure, maybe you'll see some combat, but the rebels aren't too much of a threat... right?

Name: Cora Tarneia
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Cora stands slightly shorter than the average female human, along with a fairly regular build. The young woman definitely does not have an overly muscular build, but nonetheless is in a fitting physical shape for the Imperial army. Her chocolate copper hair is usually kept in a ponytail or a neat knot, to prevent it from getting in the way during work.During flight missions as a bomber, Cora is exceptionally calm and precise (at least during the practice runs), however, her dogfighting skills is nothing out of the ordinary.
Just so, her blaster rifle aim isn’t particularly amazing, though her pistol aim is slightly better.
Cora has always had a fear of caves, and generally being underground. This mostly being due to trauma as a child, watching a cave collapse on a group of miners.
She isn’t overly welcoming of alien races, again, due to her positive view on the Empire.Cora always had a light-hearted nature and a curiosity for the vast universe. Though she isn’t particularly outgoing at first, due to spending most her childhood with her close family, and rarely meeting too many new people, besides the friends of her father and mother. Even though she has the basic Imperial trooper training, she never was an extraordinary with a blaster rifle (Her pistol aim was far better, that saying a lot.) nor fighter pilot. It was as a bomber pilot she found her spot. Her intelligence and focus during flight made for an excellent bomber, especially concerning smaller and harder-to-hit targets. Being raised on Balmorra Cora wasn’t taught to question the Empire, as it supposedly was them that supplied her father with pay, and allowed them to live a fairly peaceful life.Born on the planet of Balmorra, Cora was used to the Imperial presence. With the planet developing and producing weaponry for the Empire, there wasn’t much space for ever considering “Is it wrong?”. Her father was in charge of an engineering section in one of the weapon factories on Balmorra, and her mother stayed at home raising Cora and her twin-brother Damien. During their childhood the two played as much as they could, pretending to be flying in TIE fighters, or defeating the rebellious Jedi as a mighty Sith, the possibilities were endless. By the age of ten years old Cora and her brother started fiddling around with whatever their father brought home from the factory, all sorts of defect or outdated technology. Cora, especially, caught an early interest in the engineering.
Alas, engineering was not her destiny. When Cora came of age the Empire offered her a place within the Imperial Army, as a ‘reward’ for her father’s loyal service through the years. Seeing it as her best opportunity to get off from Balmorra and have a chance to see what else the galaxy contained, she said yes. Just so, her brother Damien agreed to come along as well. The two parted ways after the basic training. Damien pursued a career as a trooper, whilst Cora rediscovered a childhood love for Starfighters. She entered flight school as soon as she could, taking a basic course as a TIE/LN Starfighter pilot.
Soon, she found an interest in the TIE/sa bomber.
Without hesitation she pursued training as a bomber pilot.Name: Garik Antocha
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Garik is a very serious looking individual, rarely betraying any kind of emotion past anger. Physically he is a thin, slender young man who is pushing the maximum height authorized by the Imperial pilot corp. His most striking feature are his eyes, which have often been described as intense if not inquisitive. Finally, in keeping with military standards, he keeps his hair cut short and his face clean shaven.Garik is a hard worker and an intellectual. It's what helped him become an above average starfighter pilot, because while he lacked a natural talent for flying, he made up for it by spending every waking moment training in the simulators or learning about his craft. But one thing he's always struggled in is combat outside a starfighter. He's never been able to perfect his marksmanship with a blaster or make any real gains when it comes to his physique. In addition, Garik has some deep rooted issues stemming from the sudden lose of his father, issues that will sometimes hamper his ability to think straight.Garik lives by a sense code of honor instilled by his father at an early age, one that emphasises selfless service, personal courage and moral integrity. This will sometimes clash with Imperial doctrine, as he has a hard time placing the mission first and sacrificing his comrades, and is reluctant to follow through on orders he deems morally questionable. However, at the end of the day, Garik is a soldier, and will typically follow any order given to him.
The death of Garik's father also left a serious impact on him. In his mind, he needed to honor his memory by following in his footsteps, and became obsessed with making his dead father proud of him by tirelessly dedicating himself to the Imperial Navy. During this time, Garik also became increasingly more distant while he toiled over his studies. He shut his family and friends out. He gave up the pursuit of happiness, robbing him of a normal childhood. He bottled his emotions up and became distant, growing up to become an austere, introverted young man and leading him to lash out at others, sometimes unreasonably. It wasn't until recently, when Garik began to fly, that he found his escape.Garik was a Generational. His father had died fighting Seperatists during the Clone Wars, his mother had been a nurse in the Republic Medical Corps, and his ancestors before him had a long and steeped history of serving in the Republic Navy. In addition, Garik was a native of the planet Anaxes. He had been raised on a world where the Empire was seen as peacekeepers and hailed as heroes by the people. Naturally this, combined with his ancestral history, inspired Garik to follow in his family's footsteps. His performance in the Imperial Sub-Adult Group and cadets reflected this desire, though it came at a cost. While other children lived a life of imaginary adventure outdoors, Garik spent much of his free time in deep study at home, and largely lived a solitary life, his only friends being the protocol droids his mother would use to tutor him.
While Garik ultimately aspired to be the captain of his own ship, because of his high marks in the Imperial Academy and the demand for high rate pilots in the face of a growing rebellion, he was enrolled against his wishes in the Tir flight school onboard the Star Destroyer Inflexible. Luckily, from the moment he first stepped into the cockpit of a real starfighter, he was hooked. No longer was his free time spent nose-deep in his academic studies, but instead in the training simulators of a TIE/IN starfighter. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being a starfighter pilot, so much so that when an opportunity to transfer out of flight school and into the command crew of a Star Destroyer finally presented itself to Garik, he denied the chance to continue his career in the Imperial pilot corp.Name: Nova Jinnau
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance: orig11.deviantart.net/3180/f/2016/135..
Attributes: Covered in personality section.
Personality: She lives totally in the moment. She has incredible instincts and quick reflexes, which makes her the best flyer and shot, at least in her opinion. Her ability to take quick, decisive action, but can also bring out her recklessness in the sense that she lives so much for immediate experiences that she doesn’t stop to consider the negative consequences of her actions. She is quick to respond and take the first punch. She doesn’t learn from past experiences, but instead keeps her options open.
She is unafraid of criticism and loves to point out the inconsistencies in other people. She can be very logical in how she deals with problems; and how to plot battle tactics to catch the enemy off guard; her ability to think outside the box proves useful. She quickly evaluates people, measures them logically against the situation, and dismisses them if she finds them wanting. She’s interested in hearing “the other side” and has no respect for authority.
Her concern is keeping other people safe. She hates to lose other pilots. She hates stupid accidents that cost lives. She feels enormous guilt for letting her desire to make another person happy lead to their death. She instinctively sounds out other people and knows just which buttons to push to hurt them the worst. She’s totally ill at ease with her own emotions and doesn’t know how to handle them.
Even though she has a short-term focus, she can also be persuaded to believe in fantastical ideas and to consider possibilities that don’t naturally occur to her.
Biography: Nova comes from a long proud tradition of Mandalorian & Imperial fighter pilots. Growing up there was no question what she was going to do when she grew up. As a child she was taught to fly on holosimulators, eventually she flew actual starfighters. Two years before her joining the Imperial Academy her clan was attacked by the Death Watch, she joined the rest of the pilots in protecting their home from air bombardment while others repelled the ground attack. As soon as she was old enough she joined the Imperial Academy.Name: Charlie R. Marick
Age: 21
Gender: MaleAppearance:
Attributes: Sharp reflexes, Fast Learner, Poor Upper Body Strength, Easily WindedPersonality: Charlie is sharp as a tack and looking to make his own way in the galaxy. He's ambitious, though not quite enough to do what some would deem necessary to feed it. He passes himself off as a very easygoing guy, usually laughing at something or cracking jokes. He's a glory hound at heart, willing to take any risk to get where he's going.Biography: Charlie was born on the freighter Providence to the ship's captain, the child of a brief fling she'd had in port. Growing up, Charlie rarely felt the pull of natural gravity, and even more rarely did he leave the vessel he was born on. Charlie's mother did well enough that ends met without issue, but they were far from wealthy. The Empire was good to the single mother and son, as the pair often served to resupply one of its remote outposts. The crew of that outpost often offered rations when money became too tight, a bed after long humps, and companionship for the young man, even if only in the form of army troopers and navy pilots.
Charlie had no formal schooling, but was well educated by his mother and all the books he could read. It didn't take the young man long to realize that his mother and he hardly had the grandest life. So, he resolved he would make a far better life for himself, aspiring to be one of the Grand Moffs he saw seated in thrones of authority, surrounded by wealth. He dedicated himself to this, researching successful political campaigns everywhere he could, and when he couldn't he learned math, science, other things he'd need to ensure he never made a fool of himself. And so, after his twentieth birthday, he was off to the navy academy, lusting after a command of his own so that he could claim glory and the eye of those in power. For now, however, his fast reflexes saw him sent to TIE training, where he flourished, much to his chagrin.:

Serve in the military, where he was expected to die, or go to prison.Name: Amos Garvey
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: https://gyazo.com/57d3d6a9b5a43845de5a0c38540e1125
Born in a high G gravity well, Garvey was a couple inches under average height, but he made up for it with as strong and imposing of a physique as he could manage, his previous job had required it. His features had never been considered particularly charming.
Attributes: Certified as a Medical Technician and trained in the use of firearms and basic combatives, Amos was more suited to life as a ground and pounder. However, he excelled at flying his TIE Fighter in atmosphere whether it was in the simulator or on training flights. Amos appreciated the CAS capabilities his aircraft had and the prospect of fighting enemy fighters mere feet above trees and terrain where aerodynamics made sense to him. In space where there was no up or down, Amos barely made the minimum requirements to be considered flight worthy. Occasionally helpful but most often a hindrance, he was addicted to prescription strength stims and pain-killers.
Personality: When it came to anything Amos deemed uninterested or unimportant, he was lazy to a fault. His pre-flight exams had shown this however, he prided himself on being dependable and resourceful when shit hit the fan. Around people he knew and considered "one of the good guys", Garvey was if anything gruff but kind hearted. Strangers received the same cold stare he practiced everyday working for Tychos. Possessing a strong moral compass when it came to caring for and protecting anyone he loved or considered a friend, but that's where it ended. He was known to frequent drug dens and gambling houses on leave.
Biography: Amos had found his niche in life, or so he thought until he was fired from the Tychos Corporation. His job title had been Defensive Security Specialist/Medical Technician. To put it in layman's terms, Amos had cracked heads for Tychos when the local belt miners had gotten out of line, and even patched a few up when it suited the company. Shortly after his contract was terminated for taking some company medical supplies on the side for his own use, Amos found out that his girlfriend of a measly 3 months was pregnant. With a dwindling savings account and no options, Amos Garvey enlisted in the Imperial Navy. His ideas of grandeur and self-worth had convinced him that with his skill set, he would land a job in Naval Intelligence or perhaps as a Medical Technician, but the TIE Fighter program was the only interesting job his recruiter had been able to land him. Disgruntled, destitute, and homesick. Amos Garvey began his career in the Imperial Navy.
