Physical description:
Tall and muscular at 6 foot. Her thin, brown hair is most usually tied back in a snug ponytail. Brown eyes. Most often wears her heavy duty mechanic's trousers with steel toe-capped boots, and a messy, grease and oil stained tank top.

How they came to be aboard Judas 5:
Her whole life was spent underneath the great engines and boilers of vast war ships. Bullets and torpedoes exploded all around her in wars not so long ago, but those engines she kept running no matter what. Still young, but now tired of the dangerous life she lead, she signed a contract with Ignius Incorporated fixing the hulls and deep-water tech of deep sea colonies: Judas 5 is her latest position. She arrived a few months ago and fit right in. She's often found sharing a drink of the home-brewed beer in the engineering ward with her fellow mechanics, all of whom deeply admire her.

Known significant relationships with other crew members:
Daxis - A fellow mechanic, and her best friend. The two are often paired when venturing into the deep pressures of the water to fix equipment and reinforce hulls. Purely platonic.
Harrison - Chief of Security. Many past run ins over her raucous behaviour on weekend nights. He thinks bitterly and disdainfully of her.

Goals aboard Judas 5:
Enjoy her new life. This is now her home and she intends to stay. Ignius pays her, but that's about it. She looks after herself and her friends, and cares for little else.

Name: Francesca ‘Frankie’ Lucciano

Occupation aboard Judas 5: Junior marine biologist (Scientist’s team)

Description: Thin, bright-eyed, pale woman with a dimpled chin and bobbed black hair. 5’6” and usually wearing smart work clothes, bright red lipstick, thick mascara and messy pencil eyeliner. Very smiley, and just as well, because she has impeccably white teeth for someone who takes as many cigarette breaks as she does.

How they came to be aboard Judas 5: Frankie was a smart kid. When her parents still spoke to her, they wanted her to get her life back together by taking a science-related course at college; she agreed because she wanted to move out as desperately as they wanted her gone, but life started going south and she compensated by immersing herself in her work. Immediately after completing her biological oceanography degree in California, Frankie began shadowing a marine biologist named Shontel who was invited to work as a member of the scientific team aboard Judas 5. The two of them boarded together and since Frankie has been pioneering a steady portfolio of independent research to distinguish her from the other junior scientists. She’s incredibly interested in the new aquatic life they’ve discovered since their colonization began and she takes her work extremely seriously; her more seriously than you might assume if you met her alone at a bar on a Saturday chain-smoking and ordering five shots to drink in rapid succession to get the night started.

Known significant relationships with other crew members:
Shontel - Her mentor and the only person Frankie has known since before she boarded Judas 5. They’re not incredibly close but Frankie does have a deep respect for Shontel. She also has a bit of a crush on her and she’d probably act on it if Shontel was closer to her age.

Goals aboard Judas 5: Learn as much as she can about the marine life in the new world she’s been invited into. Start her life properly. Make some fucking interesting friends.

Name: Yohanes "Jonas" Tan

Occupation aboard Judas 5: Computer technician

Physical description: Lanky and short, clocking in at around 5'7 (but he'll say he's 5'8). Longish black hair and thick glasses that he's always taking off to fiddle with. Usually wearing ratty jeans and graphic t-shirts. Lost his only belt three days after boarding and has been holding his pants up with a carabiner ever since.

How they came to be aboard Judas 5: Jonas grew up in a single-parent household with four younger siblings and was the first person in his family to attend college. He'd been drawn to technology from a young age, starting with programming his graphing calculator and eventually moving on to more complex machinery. Six months before graduation, Ignius Incorporated approached him with an offer of a highly-paid position as a computer technician, which he initially declined in favor of finishing his degree. Two weeks later, his mother called to say that she'd suddenly lost her job and Jonas wound up calling Ignius Incorporated to accept his position aboard the Judas 5. He can often be seen hanging around the computer bay with the other technicians, competing over the top score on the ship's homemade Pac-Man console, or drawing comics about living on Judas 5 to email to his younger brother.

Known significant relationships with other crew members:
Morrison - The head technician and Jonas's boss. A quirky older man with a definite limp and a penchant for bad puns, Morrison does his darnedest to keep Jonas out of trouble.

Ray - An aquatic ecologist who experiences an above-average number of computer malfunctions. If Jonas has been sabotaging their computer in order to have an excuse to talk with them, nobody's the wiser.

Goals aboard Judas 5: Make enough money to pay his mother's bills and send his little siblings to college. The sooner he can get back to the surface, the better.
