I've used this argument before. While it may be preferable for you to use something, I can't force everyone else to do the same. If you want to do it, show him first instead of forcing it on him. Then it'll catch on. Like I said, I don't really see a problem if you do it either way as whether a post is spoiled or not doesn't particularly effect how an RP will go.
What has @Prostagma done anyways? At least in the IC. You can RP in PMs if you like; but keep in mind that I, as the GM, also want to watch exciting duels; not to mention your fellow players. And like he mentioned, there's no shortage of space on this site. Not as far as I'm aware, and certainly not as much as I think just this one RP will take up.
