Gumu took off running not too long after Kalina did. "Can't catch us!" He teased playfully as he ran.

Kc listened very closely to Zi. She didn't know there was so much to being a reporter. But nonetheless, she was happy to be a reporter.

Zaliwa nodded. "Alright, I accept your offer for now." She said. "I would also like lots of training so I can be a strong lioness." She requested. For awhile she had to train on her own, but now that she might finally be getting a pride, she wanted to see if this lion would let her continue with it.

Kisari smiled. "I'm sure he will." By Malaika's reaction to her brother's behavior, Kisari could tell she didn't understand why he acted the way does. She just decided upon letting Roho approach her on his own when he's ready.

The Scavengers
"I CAN'T BELIVE IT!!!" Asikari yelled as she walked into the den, scaring off Adusa and Aba. "HE BEFRIENDED THE CUB!! NOW WE CAN'T HARM HER!!"
"U-uh.. Why can't we harm her?" Adusa asked. Asikari looked at her mate, walking up to him. He backed away, till his back was to a wall. Asikari's muzzle was on his.
"Because-getting tense-.. That little brat is on their side, the side we look to when our food supply is low. The one where we can eat their dead Lions. We need them.. Without them, we are [b]dead..[b] Understand?" Asikari said. Adusa nodded, and Asikari backed away.
"Well, I guess we need something to eat. I'll go out and see what I can find." Asikari walked out of the den, and the two boys were excited. Because of all this anger, she forgot about the punishment.
Asikari walked around, near the border of the Outlands and the Pridelands. She stealthily got to PrideRock. She listened in to conversations, trying to figure out where all the good food is. She made sure not to be seen by the guard.

Artemis smiled. "Especially if I know my cubs that's where they will be." She said laughing as she followed Cryen back to were the cubs last were by Pride Rock. She hoped they were smart enough to stay close by. They were but Nikko sometimes was too mischievous.

Nikko ran after Gumu hoping he would make a mistake thinking he would go after his sister first. He tried to do all he could from laughing as he started getting closer and closer to Gumu.

Cyren had followed Artemis back to where she was headed, his expression shifting back to his usual blank face. He hoped the cubs wouldn't mind their friendship, and that they would like him.

Artemis could sense he was almost worried to meet her cubs. "Hey. Don't worry about my cubs. I am sure they will like you. Especially Nikko." She said smiling at him softly.

Cyren relaxed slightly, before he chuckled softly. "Is it..that noticable?" He asked, tilting his head lightly at Artemis. Maybe she could just see through him.

Artemis smiled at him softly. "I could see you face changed so I kind of figured that was what it was about. Nikko will like that your a guard. He wants to become a guard or hunter when he gets older and he needs some help." She said smiling at him.

Cyren smiled softly. "I'd love to help ...him learn. I know a trick... or two." Then, he playfully brushed her side. "Maybe...a few more than you."

Artemis smiled. "Wow. That sounds like a challenge." She said brushing against him in return softly. "I would love to see you teach him to see. I did provide for my cubs out there for a while." She said joking and laughed.

Cyren smiled softly, before shrugging. "I'll teach him if he wants to learn. Same with your daughter..I'm a sucker for cubs, even if I don't have any."

Artemis smiled as he said that. "I work with them every day. I love cubs because they are so full of life. Its always nice to see because it makes me happy." She said smiling as she thought about it. "It was as if I was born to be a mother I guess." She said laughing.

Cyren laughed softly as he nodded. "Seems..good to me." The blonde lion sat down silently, paws flat on the ground as he looked out at the sky.

Artemis smiles and sits down next to him. "Ah there they are." She said gesturing out to the three cubs playing. "I will let them finish a few rounds before we go over there." She said smiling back at him. "The more they play the better they sleep." she said in a sing song tone laughing.

Cyren chuckled softly. "I'll remember that.." He said, looking out at her cubs. He could see them too, and smiled lightly at them...they looked like good cubs. He knew with a mother like Artemis they definitely would be.

Artemis smiled as he watched her cubs play. "If you don't mind me asking..why don't you have cubs of your own?" She said hoping not to offend him. "I mean it as to not be mean...just curious." She said tilting her head towards him.

Cyren looked at her, raising an eyebrow slowly. "I just..never found a mate..I suppose. Then again..I'm generally a closed off..lion." His emerald eyes glanced at the ground. "So I never..could..have cubs of my own."
