Kaylee Jade Evans

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Connor Vos (@Caits).

“Is everything okay, Kaylee?”

“H-huh..?” Lifting her head back up so her eyes once more met with his, Kaylee let herself get lost in them for a spell, her cheeks turning a gentle shade of red before his question finally began to settle into her mind- he was worried about her… the very thought had her heart swelling, and the urge to once more kiss him grew stronger, making it harder than ever before to resist.

Finally managing to tear her gaze away from his, she dropped her attention down to her mobile held in her hand, her eyes flicking over the message she had written up, seeming to reread it at least twice more before eventually, she hit the send button with her thumb, waiting until the small tick came up beside the message bubble before she held it out for him to see, showing him just what it was that actually had her worried, “..my brother… he’s like us; and he’s gunna flip his shit at me when he gets here… He didn’t even want me to go camping in the first place- you know, with the whole ‘new in town’ thing… and with the full moon tonight…”

Slowing down her pace until she came to a complete stop, she turned her body into his, her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly as she hit the lock button on her phone, slipping it back into the pocket of the hoodie before she stepped into him, her free hand coming up to press lightly against his chest as her other gave his a gentle squeeze, a slight flicker of panic filling her eyes as she continued to hold his gaze locked with her own.

Yeah… she was never letting him go ever again…

“..stay with me…” Before she could stop them, the words had tumbled from her lips in almost a hushed whisper, her eyes holding his own as she brought herself even closer against his body than she had been before- she didn’t want to leave him… she loved him; even if-… even if that meant that she took him home with her… she wasn’t going to be parted from him anytime soon.

“..please… stay with me… I-I don’t want to leave you…” Turning her head, she glanced around the hallway they were in, her eyes flicking about before they pulled back to meet with his, her hand slipping up to lightly curl around the back of his neck, her fingers lightly brushing over them as she continued to let the words tumble from her lips without so much as a second thought, “..come home with me tonight; stay with me, my parents won’t care, I promise, just please… please promise me you won’t leave…”

"Its like...you find the person that makes anywhere feel like home...because they are it. And thats all that matters"

@Vicier

At the mention of the moon, Connor glanced up at the silver, slightly yellow orb. He blinked at it a moment, before looking back to Kaylee, reading the message when Kaylee showed him. Was such protectiveness typical off an older brother? Connor would never know, his parents had never had any kids after him, and with his mother dying when he was young, it became impossible. "How does he think it will become more known to you if you don't do things?" He asked outloud, merely wondering, automatically his arms went around her as she stepped close to him. Trying in her scent, that curious mix of eucyluptus and smoke.

As Kaylee almost deserpately requested for him to stay with her, Connor tightened his grip, knowing nothing would keep him away from her, knowing he would move heaven and earth to ensure that that didn't happen. He bowed his head to hers, and whispered softly "I won't ever leave you, Kaylee. I promise". He would do everything in his power to make sure he kept to that promise. Yes, he was definetely going to find a place. An odd thought crossed his mind, and he gave her a smile, stealing another kiss from her, unable to help himself. "I want you to be happy, and I'll stay with you, forever".

The fact that they were young, that they'd only known each other days, didn't seem to matter. None of it did, expect the fact that he was holding her, right here, right now. Was it odd? Yes. Did he care? Not really, but the thought that this had something to do with what they were did cross his mind. He had certainly never felt like this, for anyone. LIke she was the piece to the puzzle he missed, that she completed him, and that everything he had, and everything he was was for her. He knew he would never feel this way about anyone else. This was it.

"I don't care if it takes a thousand years, I will never stop wanting to know everything about you, and wanting to be with you, holding you right where you belong, in my arms" He said, his voice strong and caring, the ring of truth vibrating through them. "For now...well, we'll take your brother as it comes, for now, we have to go to the...teenagers attacked. Your friends, right? We can see if they are all okay" While he would have given just about anything to simply go home with her right then and there, at the moment it didn't seem wise to tick off the Man and woman who he had seen as wolves. They were older, possibly stronger, definetly wiser and more skilled with their powers. Angering them could only be bad for them. Reluctant to let Kaylee go, Connor instead tightened his grip, before sighing softly.

Linus Teague-Winslet

Location - Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: No one at the moment, but anyone at the Medical Center can interact with him.

Linus stumbled into the nearby bathroom, pouring himself some water from the faucet. That cleared his head a little, alleviating some of the drowsiness that pervaded his system. He was a bit worried about what Zoe had said about 'regretting' leaving her side, so he wandered off to find her.

The kid coughed miserably, wandering through the crowded waiting room wondering where Zoe could have escaped to. He didn't even know her name yet, so there was no use calling out for her. For the first time in his life, he felt lost. Even though he'd pretty much always been living out on the street, it just came naturally to him. This was the first time he'd been unable to find someone he needed to find. What was Zoe even going to do now that he'd separated himself from her? Seeing as she had no qualms about abducting him....

Besides, looking for Zoe was not what he wanted to be doing right now. He wanted to go filch some cigarettes some place to get himself out of the beginning stages of withdrawal. But he couldn't leave the building until he'd reunited with his kidnapper, which was beyond frustrating. Why didn't Zoe stay with him when he'd started seizing? That would have been a lot more convenient.

"Damn it..." He swore under his breath, muttering a string of other curse words as he wandered around looking for Zoe. Of course, this wasn't a good course of action, as it's easier to find someone who's staying still, but he'd never been taught that. He was starting to think that maybe something had happened. Not that he was worried about a stranger who'd just kidnapped him, but he was more worried for his own safety. After all, Zoe had kind of threatened him.

Magnus & Gage

Magnus stared at the werewolf and opened his mouth to reply but then closed it. That actually got to him. He paused then exhaled. He lightly pinched the bridge of his nose and then sighed again. The wolf was right. He was 350 years old what the hell was wrong with him. Well...he knew what was wrong with him but how to explain. No no he wouldn't.

He went to find Zoe with his hands in his pockets. When he did he silently took the bottle back and barely made eye contact. ....I'm sorry.... He then managed to look at her with those black rimmed eyes and tilted his head concern now passing through them. "Where did that witch child..." his brow furrowed as he tilted his head the other way listening with ears not quite as capable as a werewolf. "I'll go find him...and I'll stay out of your way..." he then turned and started roaming looking for that witch child.

Gage was in pain he felt like his flesh was burning as it healed before his eyes. How was this possible. And then quinton got to him. Gage was trembling as he laid there eyes wide with confusion. Gage nodded but then shook his head. "I need Syleste...." and then the scream. He flinched and then snarled. The sound was like rumbling thunder as he sat up.

He then tore away everything holding him down for that surgery and leaped out of the bed. He was walking with protection clear as the goal. He didn't know that he scream was a reaction to his. Right now his werewolf bite addled mind thought it was because someone was hurting her. He inhaled without thinking and managed to find her room in time to see Xeres with Syleste in his arms. He growled lowly. "What did you do" his hands were curled into fists and any aspect of the fear he had a few minutes ago was replaced with pure urge to protect.

He didn't notice the rest gathered. All he saw right now was red. His girlfriend had screamed...she was scared and he wanted to protect. His fists clenched and unclenched as he glared at Xeres.

Alexis Farreacher

Location: Cedar Ash Inn
Interacting with: Callie Lenson@Caits

Was it safety that drove her? Precaution? Fear? Alexis didn’t really know. But when Callie went upstairs she reached out towards the orb. She guessed the orb must be a magical construct similar, if not of the same kind, like her dream wisp. She grabbed it in her fingers and channeled some energy off. Enough so she didn’t feel entirely powerless. Yet she left plenty there so the orb would remain bright and not get destabilized. The energy she leeched off felt weird and eerie. It had a familiar sensation to it but she couldn’t quite word it. Not that she would, she had no intention to tell Callie she took some power. At best it would be considered rude, at worst… well she couldn’t really imagine what the worst would be.

Alexis just nodded as Callie told her about the little girl and the pup upstairs. It certainly made her feel safer as well. If someone trusted the witch enough to let their child sleep there, then what harm could she really do? Then again, the man may not know Callie was a witch. The fact that she called herself a White Witch helped too. Even if it was just a title to Alexis. The only thing that did make her worry was when Callie called the Inn the safest place in the area. It wasn’t that she was there that bothered her but the fact that some place had to be safe. She wanted to ask but instead got a kitten dropped on her lap. The girl often played with her own kitten, Sabbath. But Tigre looked so different from the black cat.

As Callie left the room, Alexis couldn’t really help herself. She booped Tigre’s nose and played a little with the aptly named little cat. She even whispered: “So you’re a witch’s cat too huhn? Maybe you and Sabbath could play sometime?” Again, Alexis didn’t really expect Tigre to answer. But the girl always felt safer to talk to things or animals. Mostly because they wouldn’t say anything back. It was like talking to herself, instead of not to really to herself. When Callie returned from the kitchen with the warm chocolate milk, Alexis lowered Tigre back on her lap and took the mug with a smile. Right now all sense of precaution was out the door. This woman trusted her enough to let her play with her kitty and leave her alone in her house.

Ley lines? She remembered reading an article about it a few years ago. She thought they were something of magnetic lines across the globe of some sorts. Not in a thousand years did she think of studying them. Yet druids in Europe claimed many of their stone circles and other formations were built along them. Right then she wanted nothing more than to grab her book and ask it about the ley lines. But she knew better. Such a thing would be positively rude. Now she needed to answer Callie: “I-I…“ Off on a flying start. “Nobody ever really… told me about ley lines. So… I’m guessing I don’t really have a talent for it.” She rubbed her hands on her cup and stared down into it. A bit ashamed. To Callie not knowing ley lines must be like not knowing how to write!

Maybe she should start with how she got here? But that was a long story, with plenty of questions. Yet, here they were, with a hot chocolate in the hands. Probably with enough time to at least give her something basic? Looking up at Callie she started her story: “I actually had a dream this night. I mean, it wasn’t a dream. I think. It was probably more like.. a vision? I was floating over Klamath and everything was really dark but the sky was really bright and-“ then she remembered the amber dot. “-I think I saw you? Not, you, I mean I saw an amber dot moving at the Inn. But now I’m guessing it was you?” By this point, uncertainty was pouring out of the girl. She couldn’t really help it but her gaze fell down and looked at the cup between her hands again. “Then I saw a silver light in the woods. It moved so fast. So straight. Until it reached some place. I don’t know what but it just went… crazy.” Why did she use the word crazy? Now Callie was going to think she was! “I mean, it just jumped left and right and up and down and everywhere it stayed for longer than a second another dim silvery light appeared and…” she looked up back up at Callie. “Are there other… things? In the night?” The question came from a sentence she remembered from the book: Children of the moon fear the pale witches.

Miranda Burke.

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Zoe @Vicier

In amongst the chaos, Miranda had found herself placed in one of the other rooms, she was attended to of course as the staff had to stabilize her and treat her more severe wounds from the attack. But with so much commotion going on out there, Miranda had found herself left alone in a bloody mess in the room un-attended attached to a ventilator machine. Her breathing was erratic as she was setting herself into a panic attack while unbeknown to her however, her wounds were healing and gave her a burning sensation. The sensation was weird, painful as she could not tell what on earth was happening to her, tears threatening to sting her eyes as she was scared not just for herself but for all her friends.

She closed her eyes, Miri wanted to just rest and it was so easy just to just close them and try and shut off. The rapid healing doing wonders to help her breathing even if still in a little panicked state while her lighter wounds just seemed to be pretty much gone, she really had no idea of what world she was entering. Unknown to her though, Zoe had come to the room and silently made her way across to the blonde teen before removing the ventilator which startled her some, moments later, Miranda felt the bed move and that had certainly alerted her enough to open her eyes and fidget on the stretcher as she wondered what the hell was going on.

Miranda’s eyes darted around, a little panicked at why she was being moved and even tried to move but failed. Maybe one of the staff gave her something for the pain and calm her down, but Miranda was certainly one of the more cooperative among her friends although at the time she could not talk while struggling to breathe. Her neck wound looking much better than it did, if it could be seen under the bandage that was put in its place. She calmed down once more when eventually and while appearing upside down for her when Miri’s eyes had settled upon Zoe… Wait Zoe? Why was Zoe pushing her down a myriad of halls?

Miranda looked at Zoe a little confused but it did put her at ease a little seeing that her friend and boss had come to see her, sure the blonde was really worried about her friends and that had got her into that panicked state. Cassie, Syleste, Aron, Gage, Cleo and even that new girl… What was her name again? Kylie? No Kaylee, Miri is worried and thinking about hem all so much right now, she was scared for them all. But still, Miranda was relieved to at least see Zoe, she managed a small faint smile to the woman, looking at her and before she lifted her left hand up and raised it over towards Zoe before resting it softly on the Latina’s hand, the woman looked like really stressed and she hoped reaching out to her with a smile would help in some way.

“Thank you for seeing me, but have you seen the others?” Miri said quietly, her voice still sounding a little off, she just felt so exhausted. “But since when did you become a doctor?”

It was not long before Miri increased her grip on Zoe’s hand when Siren screams were ringing out, she didn’t even know they existed of course but who ever was yelling or screaming out had one hell of a set of lungs on them and it hurt her ears no end and made her eyes water. Her grip only loosening up once it stopped, her hand softly rest again, all she wanted to do was just rest and just hope it was all dream, everything was feeling weird and hurting and right now Zoe was her anchor.

Cassandra

"This is all just a dream, isn't it? Gage isn't really attacking my father, is he?"

As Gage came rushing in like someone was doing murder, Cassie stood, pushing herself off the bed as he approached her father, rather threateningly. Her eyes wide, Cassie moved smoothly, leaping in between Gage and her father, holding Syleste. The somewhat tattered remains of her clothes, unnoticed until now, flapped around her in the sudden movement. "He didn't do anything to her, Gage! Leave my father alone and let him help Syleste!" She shouted, her words coming out louder then she thought they would have, fueled by both panic, and anger that Gage would think to threaten her father-her father who had let them stay as often as Cassie could kidnap them, her father that worked his butt off to save people, her father that probably wouldn't eat right if she didn't bring him homecooked meals, who would probably just live on Twix bars if she let him. Her father, who wouldn't think of harming someone. Her father, who she wanted to be just like, saving people, helping them.

She knew it could easily be what happened to them, confusing them all, and making them angry, afraid, but that was no excuse to attack her father, verbally or physically. Gage was taller then her, larger, stronger, but by god, Cassie wasn't going to let him hurt her father in misplaced anger. "Let him help her, he's the only one that can!". Seeing Syleste, pure, innocent, adorable Syleste, hurt stabbed at Cassie's heart. Cassie knew that Syleste could do a lot, that she was strong, and a constant presence, someone you were always aware off, but her blindness...her blindness would have been a hinderance, and she could imagien that Syleste was terrified, that she had probably been scared that Gage, that any of them really, weren't okay. Having Gage come in, wild like this, probably wasn't what she wanted.

"Accusing my father, Gage...he would never hurt her" This was so not what she wanted. She was tired, hurting-if not physically, then emotionally and all she wanted to do was curl up on the couch with her father, watching a movie until she fell asleep, nestled in his warmth, in the safety of knowing he wouldn't let anything else happen to her. But she knew the night would be busy for him, that he wouldn't go home until he knew Syleste was okay, for her sake if nothing else. She didn't want to go home alone, so she'd wait. She knew she could go to her Aunts, but that just seemed so father away, and she just wanted her father.

She stared at Gage, for one wild moment feeling like she was staring at a wild animal that was ready to attack. She raised her hands, not looking away, feeling like that would be a mistake, even as she wanted to look back to Syleste, to see for herself that she was okay. She trusted her father with Syleste, and knew he'd care for her well. "Please Gage..." She said softly, her voice losing the strength it had, softer now, full of emotion.

Quinton

"They're going to kill me...hormones everywhere...dear god, I'll have to go through this with Abigale!"

For one wild moment, Quinton thought that everything would be okay. He'd get the boy to the others, and then they could tell them what was going on. They could wipe away the confusion, and help guide these teens in what they were, how to control it, and still be relatively normal. Quinton had been younger then they were when he was bitten, just falling into puberty and adolescence, and he knew the struggle having the bite could be, it meant he could help these children immensely, and make it easier for them in the long run. The calm lasted perhaps even less then a moment, as the boy heard his name screamed. All hell broke loose again, and Quinton barely had time for a muttered curse, before the boy was running off.

Hormones. Bad at the best of times. Throw them to teenagers, and Quinton knew they would be the death of him. These kids would turn his hair prematurally grey, give him a heart attack every other moment, and quite possibly lead him to an early grave, he just knew it. Of course, on the plus side, it would be plenty of training for when Abigale let her hormones rule her. And then she'd have the whole pack to contend with. Yet no doubt she'd have them all wrapped around her little finger, able to get away with just about anything.

Sighing, Quinton followed after the young pup, to make sure he didn't hurt himself, or worse, hurt someone else. Entering the room slowly filling up with the bitten teens, Quinton lay a hand on the young man's shoulder, nodding to the doctor holding the pink-haired girl, who he took to be Syleste. "Easy now, son. No one is getting hurt-erh, well more so-in this hospital. Calm down now, and let the doctor put her down, and then you can be sure yourself that she's okay, aside from the injuries form the attack" Looking over the teens, taking in the young woman standing almost protectively in front of the doctor and the girl he was holding, Quinton saw enough likeness to know they were father and daughter, over the boy sitting on the bed, the two on the other, mentally taking a count. Three to go, and the two from the ambulance should be here soon, if they ever stopped losing themselves in each other. Zoe was probably getting the last one, and Quinton let himself relax, prepared to play babysitter, referee, and enforcer until she got here.

What a night. It just kept getting madder by the second. A druid, an Angel, a fallen Angel, a siren and a pack of wolves walking into a hospital...what's wrong with this picture? he thought, a little ruefully, as he kept his hand on the boys shoulder, ready to restrain him if need be. The teens were all healing, it looked to Quinton, except the boy on the bed, and the girl in the doctors arms. To say it was a mess was an understatement.

Callie

"Ah, to be young and innocent once more...

Having felt the slight drain of power from her light, Callie filled it back up once more, the connection to the ball was constant, needing the energy from the ley-line to hum through her, and by extension it to constantly fuel the little powersource. Saying nothing of it, Callie studied her a moment more. "Ah, I see I have put you ill at ease by mentioning the fact this place is safe. Klamath falls is a type of beacon, you see. In the last few years especially, Supernatural creatures have been lured here by some force or another. Having the inn be a safe place is essentially meaning its a sancturary, for those unable to protect themselves, whether they are weak or injuried." She explained, leaning forward, smiling as tigre seemed content in the girls lap. Familiars were wonderful creatures, often able to judge anothers character.

Pleased that the small kitten was happy with the girl, Callie leaned back. "Ah, every witch can use the leylines. Some are just more talented at it then others. Me? I prefer earth magic. There's something a little more pure at getting magic from earth, the power of the leyline filtered through plants instead of the pure energy it is, that can burn you in an instant if you aren't careful" Which probably sounded horrible, to the girl. "What I mean is, Magic can be dangerous, all magic. Which is why you need to learn it, and your own boundaries" She leaned back, settling herself once more, and sipping the hot chocolate as Alexis told her story.

Amber. Interesting. She frowned at the mention of the silver dot in the woods, and she rose, going over to the stairs and looking up. So it had been a werewolf. The next few months were going to be interesting, indeed. She looked back to Alexis, and with a soft sigh, went back over to he girl. So much she had to teach her..."Yes" She said simply. "Yes, Alexis, there are. All mannor of creatures" She knew from experience how terrifying knowing that was, so she reached out, and gently laid a hand over one of Alexis's. "You have stumbled into a world filled with wonders and horrors. You need the knowledge base to survive, and if you are willing, I will gladly teach you."

The prospect of taking a student was both daunting and exilerating to Callie, and she hoped she could do right by the younger woman.

Syleste Astrea (Vos) Nioré

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Xerxes Arvanitis (@YoshiSkittlez), Gage Brooks (@BlackPanther), Cassandra Arvanitis and Quinton Matson (@Caits), and everyone else in the room.

“Syleste… please. You have my word, Gage is fine. He’s in a lot of pain right now, but he’s… healing… quite quickly, actually…”

His words… though meant to calm her, fell upon deaf ears; the sound nothing more than white noise as she continued to struggle against him- she had to leave, she had to find Gage; to make sure that he was alright, that he wasn’t in any pain… The feeling of his firm hand pressing against the center of her chest, however, caught her attention, causing her to turn her head back around so that she was looking over in the general direction that she could hear his voice coming from.

Why..? Why wouldn’t he just let her go… why wouldn’t he just let her see him; why wouldn’t any of them just let her see him..? It was the only thing that she wanted to do; but yet, it seemed like it was the most impossible task in the world right now. The attack had been brutal; leaving her body bloody and her clothes in absolute tatters- she would have to change… later… her bags were left behind, at the campsite with the rest of their belongings, and (she assumed) the cars they had all piled into for the ride down. That meant they were going to have to go back there sometime… they were going to have to go back and clean up… to get their things…

She doubted that was going to happen anytime soon…

“I-I want to see him… please, Dr. Arvanitis… pleas-…” Her sentence trailed off into just about nothing as a sweet sort of warmth began to pool into her body; it was like he had hit her with one of those sedatives… the ones that they gave to patients so they would stay calm and co-operative; but she knew for a fact that wasn’t the case… there had been no second needle piercing her flesh in any way, shape or form.

Dropping her head down slightly, Syleste paused for a few moments, seemingly losing her train of thought before eventually, she accepted the change, her body laying back down over the mattress and her head turning towards him as she fell into a comfortable silence, lost within her own thought though not really sure what it was in the first place as a slightly dazed kind of look flickered over the already cloudy surface of her eyes. What had been the big deal again..? Dr. Arvanitis was a kind man, and one of his word… if he said he was going to take her to Gage, then he would… so why had she been screaming out again..?

“Alright, you’re clear for now. Let’s get you to Gage but I want you to take it easy, alright? Those cuts are going to need stitches and I don’t need your excitement making your injuries worse.”

Excitement..? Had she really been excited..?

Panicked..? Maybe. Worried..? Yes. Terrified..? Oh, most definitely. But excited..? That was a strange sort of thing to be feeling after having been attacked by a wild animal… but then again, he did know best; after all, he was a doctor.

“Actually, I don’t want you walking right now. I’m going to carry you, okay? At least until I can get those wounds closed up properly.”

He wanted to carry her..? Blinking a couple of times in response to his suggestion, she remained still… silent for a few moments, seeming to think it over for what felt like the longest of times before finally, she nodded her head lightly in answer, giving him the permission needed before she felt his strong arms slipping underneath her body, scooping her up and holding her close against his chest, the very action causing her to fall into him, her lithe frame pressing close as she curled up, her eyes fluttering to a gentle close as she let his warmth envelop her- wow, he was warm… or was she just cold..? She couldn’t really tell at the moment…

“Just relax. I’ve got you. You’re safe here. Everyone is safe.”

“..yeah… everyone… everyone is sage…” Repeating the words, though having obviously misheard half of them, Syleste curled herself further into him, her arm coming across and her grip weak as she took a hold of the front of his shirt, holding onto it as best as she could while he carried her through the hospital.

This was so nice… so peaceful… She felt safe wrapped up in his arms like she was. Dr. Arvanitis had always been like a father to her, ever since the two of them had first met after Cassie had kidnapped her, and taken her home for their very first sleepover one night. Just like Cassandra; he was always looking out for her, always making sure that she was doing okay, and always encouraging her to go out and do the things that she wanted to do. Yeah… yeah, this was nice…

“What did you do…”

That voice… she knew that voice. It was just so familiar, so caring, so loving, so-… so angry. Why was it that everyone was so angry right now..? Yeah, it had been a horrible night for them all, one that had her terrified for not just her life, but also the lives of her friends; but did they really have to get so worked up about it.

“He didn’t do anything to her, Gage! Leave my father alone and let him help Syleste. Let him help her, he’s the only one that can! Accusing my father, Gage… he would never hurt her. Please Gage…”

Another familiar voice; and yet another person who seemed to be angry about what was going on at the moment. Cassie was yelling at Gage… she was yelling at her Gage… and while normally she would have gotten upset about it; there was something seeming to hold her back, something keeping her emotions grounded the way that they were.

“Easy now, son. No one is getting hurt- erh, well more so- in this hospital. Calm down now, and let the doctor put her down, and then you can be sure yourself that she’s okay, aside from the injuries from the attack.”

Put her down..? But-… but she was happy where she was. Being held the way that she was… it made her feel safe and warm; like nothing could ever hurt her again. The only thing that would ever make it better was if Gage was the one holding her. She had already been separated from the love of her life for too long… now it was time she went back to him.

Shifting slightly against the doctor, Syleste let her hand slip from the front of his top, her body turning in his arms only slightly so that she was instead doing her best to face the direction that she could hear Gage’s voice coming from, her eyes once more opening, and her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly from one another as she reached out towards him, her arms outstretched and her fingers curling slightly as she did her best to get the point across of what it was that she actually wanted to do.

Interacting with: Callie Lenson@Caits

There was no fear when Callie mentioned how dangerous magic could be. Alexis was confident she could tame whatever burning energy came coursing at her. She’d channel, ground or discharge whatever she would have to. But the prospect of ley lines intrigued her. She knew earth magic drew from some place. But the book always named the earth the very source of its power. It wasn’t entirely wrong but not really specific either. But Alexis knew now. Except… she looked confused at Callie when she mentioned only plants. “I…-“ but then she realized she better backed up her claim in front of a full blown witch by some proof. So she first rummaged a bit through her bag, eventually pulling out a strange, boney pedant. “This could also be used to draw on Earth Magic, right?” she held the pendant in front of Callie.

The pendant was clearly fashioned from a bone. The edges were still a little crude but the form was clear: a hollow circle with a wave inside of it. The idea came from a combining two concepts from her book. That said a hollow circle was the sign of the new moon and the fishhook was the sign of the sea. With the combination of the moon and its effect on the sea, Alexis found it fitting to fuse the two ideas. The fishhook became a wave inside a hollow circle. To add to its connection with water, she fashioned the pendant from a large shark tooth. The only downside was that it made the pendant rather small.

Alexis put the bone pendant on the table. For the past few minutes inside she had been looking from window still to window still. Trying to find Callie’s crystals and minerals to charge in the moonlight. Yet she found none. The little warlock was first intrigued but now her curiosity was blowing up: “Where do you keep your crystals? I can’t see them charging in the moon?” she asked both interested and confused. But her mind didn’t stay with the question. A thousand more were bubbling up. Especially about ley line magic. She couldn’t wait until she got home to practice them. Or maybe she could ask Callie to teach her?

A whole new idea bubbled up inside of her. Dominating all other thoughts. What if Callie agreed to teach her? Would she? What powers would she harness!? The witch already knew far more than Alexis. That was clear and the book didn’t teach her what she wished fast enough. Through Callie she could become a better witch! Nobody would laugh at her then. The young girl looked full of hope at Callie. “Would you… I mean, teach me?” There was no doubt that there was still uncertainty, but mostly from her side. She cast a quick gaze at the book, which stayed perfectly put. It didn’t make her feel uneasy. It didn’t call her slow. It didn’t yell at her if she screwed up. All in all, it didn’t judge her, for better or worse. Could she be a pupil to someone? Alexis was a hard working student but recently she’s been lagging behind and the teachers didn’t like that. What if the same happened with her and Callie? “I mean… are you sure?” She closed her eyes, a little ashamed that she even asked.

Of course, right ten something flashed before her eyes. Something intense. A flash of silver and sapphire. Alexis tried to open her eyes but couldn’t. The vision wouldn’t let her. The magic started flooding her with images. She clenched her teeth as she held her head in her fingers. Trying to push the Sight away. But it didn’t budge. Instead, it put her in the middle of a camp in the forest. Surrounded by blood. She knew it was blood, it had to be. But the pools were mixed. Strangely the splatters on the trees were all brown or red like actual dried blood. But on the ground laid puddles of red with little drops of silver in them. But one of the pools was pure sapphire. Like someone had melted down the gem and poured it out on the ground.

Whatever power was assaulting her senses, it didn’t intend to rest on one site for long. The images shifted again. Sending her tumbling through blackness or an assault of light on her eyes. Physically she clenched her teeth again. But the girl started to get a hold of things. With the magic she drained from the magic ball she started pushing whatever supernatural force around. Fighting it. Forcing it to show her something clear. It did but only for a second.

She stood in front of Sky Lakes Medical Center. But instead of looking like it’s usual night time illuminated white, it was pitch black. Silver lights were moving around everywhere. A sapphire as well, together with something bright and golden. Somewhere else there was a light of emerald color moving around and something amber near silver. But there were too many colors. Alexis couldn’t hold it down. Luckily, after the image left her mind the energies seized and left her body.

For a second time that night her eyes shot open as she tried to catch her breathe. She looked at her hands, who were trembling. Trying to get a hold of herself. What just happened? For a moment she was even too confused to remember where she was. But the floor below her was foreign. She didn’t recognize it. Slowly but surely she realized she was at the Inn and remembered how she got there. Looking up she saw Callie. With panic both in her eyes and her voice she asked: “Silver, Emerald, Gold... blood… What do they mean? What just… what is happening at Sky Lakes!?” Then the endorphins started to wear off. Sending her guts into a spiral. Blood pulled away from her face as her stomach started contracting. “Oh god… I have to puke.” She managed to say, right before the cramps got worse.

Xerxes Arvanitis

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Syleste Vos (@Vicier), Gage Brooks (@BlackPanther), Cassandra Arvanitis (@Caits), and any others in the room.

He was attacked before he even took a step inside of the room. A hot-headed, temperamental young boy stormed across the room to himself and Syleste, demanding answers - accusing him of hurting the young girl he loved like a daughter. Keeping a comforting hold on Syleste, Xerxes had very little body language to work with. Peering down at the young man from over the tops of his glasses would just have to do. Clearly, he was unimpressed. So much had happened that night - they were all scared; he got that. But that didn't mean that they couldn't act like the adults that they all desperately wanted to be treated as. And this one was acting like a little ankle-biting dog that needed constant supervision. This one must have been Gage.

Before he even had a chance to reply to the young man, to try and calm him down and ease his mind that Syleste would be just fine, he watched as his daughter instead put herself in the middle. For him. At first he was slightly annoyed - he was more than capable of handling the situation but then, taking a moment to think back to everything she, herself had gone through that night, only made that small amount of pride in his chest for her grow larger. It didn't matter if they were friends or not, what became clear to Xerxes then and there was that Cassandra would defend him against anyone, and though that could potentially lead into more dangerous situations than this, she did, in fact, come from him and he could expect nothing less.

"Easy, son. Your girlfriend is going to be just fine." He felt Syleste shifting in his arms, reaching out for the boy in question and he let out a soft sigh. Normally, he wouldn't have had a problem with someone taking her for the time being. But she was poorly bandaged and one wrong move could easily bleed her out. It was too dangerous. "She's going to need some stitches. Immediately. Possibly some minor surgery after I've done some X-rays. But she requested coming to you first." He looked around the room. Zoe was due any minute. They really needed to get this little "meeting" over and done with soon. The longer Syleste remained unattended to, the worse her condition would get. His dark eyes glanced to the clock. Five minutes. If she wasn't there in five minutes, he'd take Syleste and go, no matter how important whatever Zoe wanted was. He wasn't about to make Syleste's life any worse than it already was.

"I will tend to her immediately once you're both satisfied that the other is okay. Don't be stupid, kid. Let me do my job. Let me help her."

Callie

"When things go bump in the night, best be prepared"

Callie watched Alexis for a moment, a little troubled. She seemed to think on what she should and shouldn’t say, but ultimattettly she decided that full discloser was needed for this girl. Callie didn’t want to see Alexis go the way of the dark side, she suspeced that the girl had a lot of potential, and she wished her well. ”Yes, it could be used for earth magic. However as an Earth Witch there are limits I myself will not breach. I will not kill another to fuel my magic. Bone...bone is a tricky gray line area. It is a powerful object, and as long as you did not kill the animal yourself, for your own gain, then it is your own moral judgement that should guide you. I have used bone myself, a few times, but I prefer plants” She leaned forward to study the pendant, but did not touch it. She could not tell if it was lethal, not without obviously looking at her lethal amulent detector.

At the question about crystals,Callie smiled. ”I don’t typically use crystals, although as you know I do sell them in my shop. Keeping them charged is just asking for a disaster, when I don’t use the energy from them” She explained, shifting, and holdingg out tthe charm around her neck, glancing at it breifly, ”I use herbs from my garden to create pottions, which typically make seven. Using redwood disks, which i cut myself, I infuse the potions into the disks. Typical, whether evoked or unevoked, the charms will last a year in the disks. Outside, the disks they last about a week. Normally I just infuse the disks, and leave them for later use when I spell. Ley line charms ae more instant-you don’t need tto have prepared anything before hand, just know the words and the hand movements and then you are good to go” She explained, finding herself enjoying the teaching.
About to reassure Alexis that she was more then willing to teach her, the girl vison of some sort. Remembering what Alexis had said earlier, Callie moved to the girls side, laying a hand on her shoulder, unable to see what she was seeing. It troubled Callie slightly, but her own visons generrally came during the night, when she was asleep. ”Resisting just makes it painful, sweetheart. Accept the vision, and it won’t hurt” She said softly, hoping that Alexis could hear her, but it didn’t seem like it, and Callie lefft Alexis for a moment, going to her private kitchen, returning within seconds with two charms, she invoked them, waiting. There really wasn’tt much else hat Callie could do, and she stood there helpless for a moment.

Feeling it when the vision left the girl, Callie watched her, carefully. ”I believe what you are seeing is auras, specifically tuned to the supernatural. Wolves, of course, hm. Druid, maybe. An angel? Sirens...how interesting, I haven’t seen one of them since I was a kid, perhaps one or two other were creatures” Callie sighed, and looped the amulets over Alexis’s head, ”One is for pain, and one is for the nausea. As I said before, they last a year. Excellent for that time of the month, really” Callie said absently,. She rubbed Alexis’s on the back, seeking to soothe and ease the turmoil the vision left her with, sighing again.

”I have long suspected that Klamath falls is a beacon for the supernatural. There are a few such places in the world, typically those that were once great sources of magic. Over the last few years, the population of supernaturals here has increased. I myself was drawn here after I left my coven. One moment” After being sure that Alexis would be alright, Callie went up stairs, stopping as she began to climb them, ”If you do need to puke, there’s a bathroom just down the hall, to the right, but I am hoping that the charms do work for you” She continued up the stairs, going to her own room, moving carefully passed the door that held Abigale and Remus, and retreiving a book, she returned to the stairs, smiling as she saw Tigre trying to master the stairs, but the kitten wasn’t quite big enough. Leaning down to scoop up the orange ball of fluff, she tucked Tigre under her arm somewhat, carrying the thin book. ”How are you, Alexis?” She asked softly, as she returned

Samael shut his mouth the moment Zoé had grabbed his shirt. He knew when he had said to much and he would have a laugh about her blow up on his own time, but for now he would have to take the punishment. When she basically made him a baby sitter for a kid he laughed on the inside and could not help the smirk on his face as he followed Magnus out of the room. The poor Druid was just taking punches from left to right, first from Zoé and now from some wolf he did not know.

But when Magnus wen to go back to Zoé Samael left him, he had no reason to go back because he had no reason to apologize to her, it was in his nature to make people mad and cause chaos. Instead he did as she asked and started to look for the boy to take to the Inn. He cleared his mind and closed his eyes, walked around the hospital with his eyes closed. He was feeling for emotions that the boy might be giving off, and he thinks he found one. He honed in on it like a owl on a mouse, and opened his to see the boy wandering around the hall looking for someone or something. He walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey kid...don't run I'll just find you again. Zoé sent me to find you and take you to someone who can help. Consider me your guardian angel, now if your good I'll get you whatever you want but if you act up...well lets not get to that. So come on and lets go meet Callie she is a very pretty lady." He said as he slung his arm over the kids shoulder and started to walk them to the front of the hospital. He had no intention of waiting around for Magnus, if the man found them then he found them.

"By the way my name is Samael, what's yours?" he said when they go to the front a waiting room.

Cody

"I have to be able to protect him..."

@blackpanther@Vicier@december@YoshiSkittlez

Despite Aron's assurances tht he was oky, Cody couldn't help but check him over, giving his hand a squeeze when Aron took it, relieved that Aron was okay. He reached out to run his free hand to over Aron's bruised face, the marks marring Aron's handsome face. "I know, but I still wish I could have done something..." He said softly, wanting to soothe away the bruises, as if his touch could heal the ghastly injuries. He hated to see Aron hurt so. As the hospital-or the emergancy department-seemed to fill with their friends screams, Cody grimaced, wanting to go check, if not for him, then for Aron's sake. They didn't know if Gage was alright, and Cody was sure that Aron was worried about his twin. And then there was Syleste...the others...Shifting, Cody pulled himself up in Aron's bed, carefully so as not to harm Aron, wrapping his arms around him, and tenderly hugging him. As if he could protect Aron simply by keeping him warm in his arms.

There was some small relief as Cassie came in with Sebastian, the latter appearing to be more torn up then Cassie, although Cassie appeared to have a bandage on her hand, one on her shoulder, and blood on her clothes that showed hidden injuries from her albeit torn up clothes, probably from the wolves attack. Glad that two of their friends were okay, Cody said to Aron softly "Gage will be okay..." It seemed like Cody's words had made Gage appear, as Cassandra's father appeared carrying Syleste-Cody was glad to see that Syleste seemed to be mostly okay-she had to be, didn't she? If she was being moved...it meant she wasn't about to die, right?

And then Gage appeared, absolutely furious, accussing Xerxes of hurting Syleste, as if he had forgotten about the wolf attack. For a brief moment, he recognised the need to protect and do something when the one you loved beyond all else was hurt. He looked to Aron, sighing softly. He didn't know what was going on, but if they were all being gathered here, then...maybe they would find out.He was beginning to think that what had happened to them wasn't normal. His broken leg no longer hurt, and that didn't seem to be...right. And The cut Aron had on his forehead had closed up. And his friends-most of them except for Syleste and Sebastian-didnt seem to have as much blood as they should.

"See? If he's anger, then he's okay" Cody said in a light tone to Aron, as if trying to make light out of what was going on, but mostly to maybe get a smile out of Aron again.

"Why does everyone want to kidnap me today?" Linus asked in a low whisper, but still he allowed himself to be led out of the hospital. "I guess you want my name, right? Well, you're not getting it until I find out what the hell you guys are up to. For all I know, you're working with the cops. Trying to turn me in, are you?" He didn't raise his voice from its hushed tone, not wanting the hospital staff to overhear him talking about being abducted. The last thing he wanted was to bring the police down on top of them. Allowing himself to be kidnapped was far better than being sent to Juvenile Detention.

"By the way, who the hell is Zoe? Can't say I know any Zoes." Linus said as they walked out of the hospital. "'Ey, is she the one who tried to walk away with me before? White girl, dark hair and eyes? She was gonna take me to be a part of some crime ring or something but then I... well, we got separated. So you know Zoe? I bet you can tell me what exactly I'm wanted for....

"Listen kid, no one is in a crime ring, we are apart of a....club. I am technically not even a member of said "club" I am just here temporarily." Samael said as they approached his car. He did not know how much Zoe would be okay with hi telling the kid, but life never sugar coated things for Samael, and this kid seemed like he had been through the ringer so he deserved some honesty at least.

"Here is the deal, I am not human, you are not human, and majority of the people you met tonight are not human. Hold your questions until I finish.....I am what they call a Fallen One, or a Fallen Angel. You are a witch, I can tell because...well I can just tell, and we are going to see an even older witch to take car of you before you get in trouble. Zoe is a Werewolf, a very mean lady. That's all I got any other questions?" Samael said all this honestly and truthfully, as they got in the car and he turned it on. He was a liar by nature so when he was telling the truth even a def man could tell, so hopefully the kid would get it as well.

"So you going to tell me your name now or am I gonna have to ask nicely?"

"What makes you think I'll believe anything you say?" Linus snarled, reluctantly climbing into the car.
For all I know, you're just trying to get me to follow you so you can tear me apart and leave me in a dumpster somewhere." He scoffed, glaring at Samael through the mirror as he struggled to buckle his seat belt. "Honest, people like you are the worst. I can't believe I'm gonna tell you this, but I'm Linus Teague-Winslet. I doubt anyone recognizes the name anymore." He smirked knowingly, deciding not to question any of the stuff about him being a witch and Samael being a 'Fallen One' just yet. There was more that needed to be addressed before he started delving into that nonsense.

Kaylee Jade Evans

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Connor Vos (@Caits).

“How does he think it will become more known to you if you don’t do things?”

The question caught her off guard, though she knew that he had a point. Hunter had his own way of doing things… he was older, stronger; he had been a part of the supernatural world longer than she had, and it was because of that they oftentimes butted heads with one another. While he wanted to take the safe road, she had only wanted to make friends; and when the topic of the camping trip had come up in conversation over dinner, their usual screaming match had turned into something more… violent. Something that their old alpha would have normally needed to break up.

Her eyes fluttered to a close as she felt his arms wrapping tightly around her body, pulling her closer instinctively as she herself took that step- it didn’t matter what Hunter had to say to her… it didn’t matter how bad the fight they were going to get in was going to be… no; none of it mattered. All that did however, was that the two of them were able to stay together through it all… and she was willing to do anything in her power to make that happen.

“I won’t ever leave you, Kaylee. I promise. I want you to be happy, and I’ll stay with you, forever.”

The words sent a shiver down her spine, causing her heart to flutter wildly within the very confines of her chest. He didn’t want to leave her- Connor didn’t want to leave her. The very thought of it caused a wave of relief to wash through her core. He wanted to stay with her… forever… just like she wanted to stay with him forever… Nothing had ever had her feeling this way before- no one had ever had her feeling this way before…

“I don’t care if it takes a thousand years, I will never stop wanting to know everything about you, and wanting to be with you, holding you right where you belong, in my arms.”

Oh god, her heart… was it ever going to beat normally again..? Pressing herself closer in against his body, she lifted her hand up, her fingers curling gently around the back of his neck as she pressed her soft pink lips against his own in a tender and loving kiss, wanting nothing more than to show him just how much his words meant to her- how much he meant to her…

She loved him… with every little part of her, she loved him. More than anything else in this world; both human and supernatural, and there was no force in existence that was ever going to be able to change the way that she felt about him. Connor was her world; her life. There was no going back now that they had both come this far with one another. They were meant for each other; were made, it seemed, specifically for one another… together they were whole.

“For now… well, we’ll take your brother as it comes, for now, we have to go to the… teenagers attacked. Your friends, right? We can see if they are all okay.”

Nodding her head lightly towards his suggestion, Kaylee reluctantly pulled herself back from him, her hand seeking out his before she took a gentle hold of it, their fingers entwining with one another as she slowly (and rather reluctantly) made her way across the hall and into the room, pausing in the doorway as the commotion going on in front of them caught her attention, causing her to shoot a slightly weary though still playful and joking glance back at Connor from over her shoulder, “..are you sure you wanna do this..? I know we have to, but… we could run…”

Connor

"is there anything more satisfying then knowing you are someones eternity?"

@Vicier

As she kissed him, Connor didn't think anything in the world could be any more perfect then this. He might not know what was going on, but he wouldn't question how Kaylee was...well, his. Matching her tenderness, Connor gently held her, in soft yet secure touch, as if he would never let her go. Right then, he didn't care if her brother approved of him, or if he was going to make a fuss. He wasn't about to be torn apart from Kaylee. Nothing could do so. Nothing could describe just how perfect this was, and Connor thanked his lucky stars that he had laid eyes on her. One thing different and maybe they wouldn't be here, right now.

As she pulled away, but still holding his hand-it was as if some part of them always had to be touching-Connor tried to recall everything he had said, everything he felt. Was it strange, to know he loved her with all his heart, and soul, when they hadn't known each other long? He didn't think so. He thought that there was something different here...and maybe that had something to do with what they were. He thought on that a moment, his mind always having to try and figure things out, but he didn't focus on it too long, Kaylee's warm hand in his all that seemed to matter.

Following her into the room, he ran his eyes over everyone there. There was the girl who'd practically tried to shove her arm down the wolves throat, to do what Connor didn't know, but maybe it had just been an accident. A boy who looked badly beaten, two on a bed, clearly a couple, a man holding the pink haired girl, and Connor stopped, staring at her as if he could get all the answers to the questions he suddenly had. He seemed, for the moment, oblvious to what was going on, until Kaylee spoke to him. He blinked, glancing around again. "Oh, I think we'll be alright." He said with a smile, letting his gaze linger on Kaylee for a moment, before it slid to the pink haired girl. He wanted to speak up, to talk with her...but she seemed a little out of it, and clearly there was a lot going on.

Coming up beside Kaylee, he shifted slightly, watching the angry young man, trying to be calmed by the doctor holding the girl.

Alexis Farreacher

Location: Cedar Ash Inn
Interacting with: Callie Lenson@Caits

The charms did help as Alexis her entire body tried to balance itself out again. Still, she had some convulsions. She tried to keep it together in the presence of an actual witch. But there was only so much she could fake. Fear dripped into her psyche as she realized what just happened. Alexis had never gotten a vision when she was awake. Maybe with reason, as the magic involved almost literally attacked her. Maybe a body could only take such visions when it’s asleep? She’d want to ask the book but as always, it would probably be mute on the subject. Maybe Callie could help her, she certainly knew her way around the world of witches. Or rather, the world of witches, werewolves, druids, angels and sirens.

The very fact that she named all those creatures made Alexis’ brain race again. With one part fighting to keep her from being overwhelmed, the other part was working through what she just learned. Sirens? Mythical creatures of the sea. Alexis had read the Odyssey which described Sirens as beautiful but vicious creatures. They had a beautiful voice and their songs were so enthralling that it made sailors lose their minds and crash upon the rocks. Those things were real!? Then the angel? There were angels in this world!? Only that fact could be enough to question faith. But Alexis did not linger on that, she lingered on what she saw. A bright light. While everything else their aura burned like a candle, the angel’s was an actual flame. Which made her question just how powerful an angel was. Then there was a druid too? First she’d assume druids were merely witches with another name. But no, she didn’t see an amber aura but an emerald one. Which she guessed to be the druid. So they were something different as well? For a moment she regretted not trying to see who the druid was. But she had a clue to follow: the emerald aura.

Then there were the werewolves. Which explained quite a bit: the silver dot that moved so swiftly and spread its silver aura around was making more werewolves. Remembering just how many silver aura’s there were a shiver ran over Alexis’ back. What if they were rabid? Wild? Could they control themselves during a full moon? What else could they do? She had so many questions yet she knew that with every single one she’d ask, two more would come up. Giving the Grimoire a sideway glance, she wondered if it held some knowledge about those other creatures as well. There was no denying that it contained a vast amount of knowledge.

Callie was still upstairs but Alexis felt the need to puke pull away. Absent mindly she held one of the disks in her hand. How did she never come up with that herself? Infusing potions into disks. Just looking at the disks with amazement felt like more proof that she didn’t really know what she was doing. That and the fact that she kept her crystals charged all the time. Maybe she used the moon’s magic often enough so the crystals never got a chance to explode? Again, so many questions coursed through her. Still she smiled a little when she remembered what Callie said about them. ”Excellent for that time of the month, really” She had the world at her finger tips and yet she never even thought about such useful things.

But Alexis looked back at the book again. She learned so much, enough to start asking it questions again. Looking at the stairs quickly, she didn’t see Callie coming down just yet. What harm could it do to ask a few questions? The young girl opened up the book and took her pen to write: Auras

But the book, once again, seemed to prefer mute on the subject. Yet, not entirely. Unlike when she asked after her nighttime visions, the book gave away something more this time. Written in red ink, it said: Blood of our blood. Heir of us. You have the Sight. Be patient, oh young one. Be patient and see the truth. It felt like a rather ominous thing, but before Alexis could ask anything else the book slammed itself shut right when Callie came down.

“What?” asked a surprised Alexis who almost jumped up from her chair. Quickly realizing what Callie asked, she answered: “Oh, oh yeah. I’m fine. Thank you.” It was the truth, the charms did seem to help. She slowly took them off and put them on the table, after which she picked up her own little bone pendant, smiling at Callie. No, she didn’t kill the shark herself. In fact, there was a fair chance the shark was still alive! They constantly lost their teeth. Alexis just happened to have found that it on a trip a year ago. Holding no fear for the pendant she looped it around her neck. Keeping curious eyes on the book Callie was carrying.

Callie

"When things go bump in the night, best be prepared"

Catching sight of Alexis closing her book, Callie didn't say anything, instead she sat on the coffee table in front of the girl, setting Tigre on her lap, she opened the book she hd brought down. "You can keep the charms, they are good for a year like I said, and I have a cupboard full of them" She said as Alexis removed the charms, and opening the book, she looked down at it, her own spindly writing glistening up at her, her painstainingly and time consumed drawings a tribute to her creative skill. "Many involved in the supernatural world have their own books-they call them beastairy, but this is my book of...well, shadows, I guess you could say. Many covens have them, but I sadly lost mine when my parents died. Thus, i started my own"

She looked up at Alexis, giving her a smile, "It will be a few generations until it is anywhere near what my mothers was, but...its a legacy. You can read it if you would like. It has the different races I have come across or know about, and I am slowly transfering my spells across into it, the ones that are not so common knowledge" She explained, and careful of tigre, she leaned forward to show Alexis the book, which when held seemed thicker and heavier then its appearnace would have you believe. She smiled, quite pleased with the magics behind the book. "I must warn you however that it won't be able to leave the inn without me being present, and it wouldn't be a good idea to try. I have magics protecting the book, to stop dark forces from being able to steal it"

Offering the book to Alexis, she picked Tigre back up, holding the kitten in one hand. "If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them, and if you need to call your parents to let them know where you are, you can do so as well. I don't mind you staying here the night, it is getting late, and there is...well. A wolf on the loose. I'd feel better if you stayed, Alexis. I'll take you home in the morning"
