Yuna and Aerith seemed more curious than frightened by the sudden appearance of this girl. Cecil on the other hand was wary to accept the drop in.

"You've brought yourself here, stranger." The young man said, he put a hand on an object in his possession. No doubt it was a sandwood branch that he'd planed on using for another purpose. Cecil was only held back by the nonthreatening nature of the girl. But already he was trying to detect whatever she was trying to do through watching her closely.

"Oh.. where's Karina?" Yuna asked, seeing that she'd just slipped away without notice.

"Maybe she got a head start on Sibyll." Aerith said. "But anyway, hello miss! I'm Aerith and this is Yuna, Cecil, and Aellios. What's you're name?"

"You fell out of the sky? And that's the end of it?" Aellios regarded the newcomer confusedly. He allowed himself loose and drifted slightly further away from Yuna and Aerith by droning cautiously behind the new girl. She's now in between Cecil and him.
"Oh.. Where's Karina?"
"Huh?"
Aellios attempted to inspect Karina who was now out of sight. Had he'd been quicker and not distracted by the newcomer he probably would've seen her figure disappear.
"Maybe she got a head start on Sibyll. But anyway, hello miss! I'm Aerith and this is Yuna, Cecil and Aellios. What's your name?"
He crossed his arm and casually blinked his eyes and controlled his breathing on the sands.
"Hello." He greeted her matter-of-factly.

Shifting her feet against the sand, the girl folded her arms behind her back, and looked out over the ocean, into the sunset.
"Well, a girl just doesn't end up on a beach without walking without somebody doing something," she offered, her tone melodic, mildly lilting, despite being mostly factual, "Right?"
With that, she looked back over her shoulder, causing, for some, the sunlight to glint over her shoulder, with the reflection sparking in her eyes. Once more, she turned out towards the surf. For a moment, there were the beginnings of a step towards the water, but her foot never moved.
"You can call me Glacies by the way," she added after a moment of silence, listening to the waves as the breeze blew her hair around.

"I'm keeping an eye on you. Glacies." Cecil said, watching he movements intently. "You all should do the same." He then said to everyone else.

"Don't be so dramatic, Cecil. If there was something to worry about it would be our missing friends. Just look, Karina didn't leave any footprints behind!" Aerith pointed out to everyone. Their fox friend should have had some marker of where she'd gone. But all there had been was the indent from where she sat. It seems as though she'd just flown up and away from there without having made any struggle to jump or lift off with her own legs and hands.

"Maybe it's magic?" Yuna added, she was a bit frightened by this turn of events but not unwilling to solve a mystery.

"It's getting late to stay. The tide will come in and the current will make it difficult to get to shore. We should leave in an hour." Cecil said.

Glacies paused for a moment, looking out into the red sunset. She pondered the words she heard behind her?
"Is... is this an island?" she asked.
