Pano-Zu decided to fly back with the others due to quite a nasty gash in his leg from his ordeal with the holo-news stand and while he healed a little faster than normal thanks to his connection to the speed force, he'd rather not run on it and make it worse than it was. Once getting back to the HQ, Pano decided to go 'treat' his leg in the bathroom by simply wiping up any blood that he could. After cleaning up his leg he decided he'd go check up on the Daxamite. Pano walked leisurely to the power house's room and knocked on the door, hoping for a response.

"Hey Sol, you wanna chat for a bit?" Momentum asked through the door, simply wanting to pass the time. He also wasn't entirely sure if Sol was even in there but it was the only place he'd really think to look for the Last Son of Daxam considering Pano hadn't seen him all too much which in of it self could mean that Sol could be literally anywhere.

Days later, Legion HQ...

The new Legion of Superheroes was off to a rough start. The girl from Talok VIII walked out on the day of the team's first mission. Three new recruits and a veteran Legion member of days past had defeated a small squad of techno squids and a humanoid robot minion of Brainiac Five. However, two recruits en route to the new HQ in Queensland Park as well as another returning veteran [Stargirl] never made it to orientation several days ago. Cosmic Boy, currently confined to a futuristic hoverchair, looked over recent reports in the media for anything of use. "Could it be Brainiac?" he asked himself.

Several Legionnaires were walking around downtown Metropolis in their civies, however each wielding their own unique powers and their new Legion flight rings/translators. Sol was amazed at fast food in the 31st century. Big Belly Burger was still holding strong some thousand years later as the United Planets' largest fast food chain spanning entire space sectors. Now though, it just said 'B's' on the wrappers. Trashcans in the new age featured biodegradable waste bins that converted waste into mulch when full. The oddness came in the units moving themselves every so often to spread the stuff around.

"So...Isaak? What's with just having the pentagon for a symbol? Why not go all the way and put the S on your chest?" asked the yellow eyed Daxamite in his white New Navy t shirt tossing some waste in the wrong bin. @Weird Tales

"You're not supposed to put metal alloys in there..." grumbled an alien civilian in passing who now sped up looking back.

The waste bin exploded from its opening and launched the now semi destroyed can into the air with a bit of a bang like an aerosol can in a microwave from the 20th century. It scared a few members of the group but Sol realized his mistake and blasted the remains away with his solar heat vision.

"Did you guys hear Cos' talking to the authorities about a few recruits not making it to HQ? I wonder why he doesn't want US looking into it?" Ultra Boy continued trying to break the ice and get to know his new brothers in arms like he had with Momentum and the others who went on the first mission days earlier. Sol had a ton of respect for the veteran Ferro Lad and thought his power was one of the coolest.

@The Kid Lantern

Ferro Lad was upset, verily so. He had learned from Rokk that Star Girl had gone missing along with a group of new recruits, Ferro had already lost too many friends, he had begged and pleaded with the Legion's leader to go look for them, but he had none of it, thankfully. Ferro realized that going alone was suicide.

Ferro had been the one to suggest that everyone head out to go shopping, take their minds off everything, perhaps catch a movie. Ferro still wore his metal mask, he didn't want to traumatize any children as he had done in the past, poor kid, she deserved better. Another mistake Ferro had made, what a mess he was. Not that he looked it, dressed in a navy-blue suit over a crisp white button-up. He had thought about bringing a tie, but he had already been overdressed, and when he got ketchup on his jacket, he had swore at the top of his lungs in anger.

Eating was a problem, but Ferro had Bouncing Boy construct an opening mechanism so that it was easier back in the days of the old legion, yet another legionnaire whose fate he didn't know. Ferro had rarely eaten as a child, an as an adult, he often gorged himself, prior to his meeting with Rokk he had eaten a whole pizza in twenty minutes. He was both very pleased and very angry with himself, his toilet had been even angrier.

Ferro found himself cowed into silence around the younger recruits, their green-ness and everything was kinda an elephant in the room that Ferro just couldn't get around.

Just as he began thinking this, the youthful Daxamite destroyed a can as it was shot in front of him like a clay pigeon, metal fragments flying through the air in every-which direction. Though he was loathe to admit it, Ferro thought this was awesome.

"I'm sure Rokk just doesn't want anyone getting themselves killed by Braniac's cabal of cavernous coloned cybernetic creeps, you can refer to his as Rokk by the way, as acting second-in-command of the Legion, I've got his word on it." Ferro could barely hold back a chuckle as he imagined Rokk's reaction to learning what the Daxamite had been told. Ferro decided to enter the conversation because if he hadn't, he might as well have stayed at home, and that wouldn't have been any fun.

Pano had been walking along peacefully enough with the group until he nearly tripped over himself at the sound of the explosion emanating from a trash can. He decided to pay it no mind as it seemed it had been the Daxamite who had caused the issue and him simply being from Daxamite was an excuse enough to be ill-equipped to handle some of the foreign technologies that Earth had to offer.

Momentum adjusted his pace so that he was walking beside Bulk Lad. Pano felt an innate bond with Dai simply due to their common interest in superheroes and this made Dai one of Pano's closest teammates, though wether this held true with Dai as well had yet to be seen.

"In all honest" Pano whispered to Dai "I'll bet those other recruits just got lost or had somewhere else to be. Not everything is overly complicated or the fault of Brainiac 5." Pano said, letting his two cents on the matter be heard by his closest company. Pano was very flustered about Brainiac betraying the Legion since on the one hand he didn't know the former hero very well and as such didn't have any first hand personal ties to him but when Pano used to watch the Legion's escapades in heroics, he wouldn't even be able to imagine them without the team's local egghead. Pano was hurt on a deeply emotional level by the hero's betrayal but he still had a sliver of hope for the rouge robot. Lately Pano had been using his what free time he had looking through all of the data the HQ still had on Brainiac in the hopes of finding someway to bring him back to the path of righteousness though so far Pano hadn't found anything substantial yet.

When the trash can popped like a firecracker near Dai the Gluconian in the team to jump slightly. He had been a bit on edge lately, hearing the news about the others having trouble arriving made Dai more paranoid about what was going on. Rokk’s silence on the subject wasn’t helping. If there was something that Dai didn’t like, it was the feeling of not being told something he should know.

When Pano leaned over, whispering about how his thought that the team were simply lost, Dai groaned a bit. Looking as lean and mean as he usually does when he hasn’t eaten in a while. The clothes he had on were from Earth, so they didn’t have the stretch most Gluconian stuff has. Meaning if he had eaten with the others at Big Belly Burgers he would most likely be ripping out of said clothes. It was partly that, he was never very impressed with Big Belly in general. They expanded out to Glucona but ran into controversy considering their name on a planet of people who essentially are food balloons ran into issues. That, and the more refined palliate of Gluconians made the expansion a bust.

“You sure?” Dai responded leaning back, “I mean I’ve never met Stargirl, but her getting lost doesn’t sound right at all.” He knew Pano had been taking a keen sense to Brainiac 5, in particular saving the robot mastermind from himself essentially. Something Dai didn’t honestly think was either possible, or even at this rate reasonable. “I mean it might be case by case, but really man its hard not to think Brainiac’s got a hand in it somehow.”

Pano and Dai had really developed a friendship ever since the team really began to be formed. It was their mutual love of superheroes and just generally nerdy behavior that brought the two together. Especially when Dai and Pano have both spent time geeking out over one another’s collections of memorbilia and other things. “If it was just them being lost or having a change of heart Cosmic Boy would tell us right?” Dai asked Pano.

Isaak was walking around downtown metropolis with the other members of the legion and in civilian clothing as they looked about the thriving city. This world was very different from Zornia, it was more hectic and diverse in life. He liked earth and living on the planet, but he still missed his home world despite his people's feelings about him being a half breed. Isaak's attention was turned to Sol when he asked him about his symbol on his costume.

"I don't want to copy the Superman symbol. The design looked cool and I think it is different enough from the S shield" he said to the Daxamite as they walked through downtown.

"So what's next on the list agendas for our little club?" he asked the Daxamite curious to hear his response.

On a street in downtown Metropolis, there was an old fashioned video arcade. “Old fashioned,” here meaning “cheap.” They didn't have any of the latest games, many in fact being nearly a thousand years old(the hardware long since replaced, but the game itself remaining unchanged). The upshot was, if you didn't mind the lack of modern neural feedback, it was a very affordable place for a gamer on a budget.

Tommy Tinker was one of these. His home computer could play many games, but was very bare-bones and had no virtual reality capacity. Here at Old Code, he could play on the old fashioned goggles-and-toggles VR for quarters on the hour. Today, however, his quarters were being put toward charitable use.

Tommy was standing, arms crossed with his hand on his chin in a thoughtful gesture, looking at the display screen as a younger human girl wore the goggles.

“It's not like the game pad on Mortal Kombat or Tekken, Sylvia,” he was telling her as her avatar on screen took another hit from her opponent. “You have to move your feet,” though she couldn't see, he demonstrated, perhaps subconsciously, a quick step as if avoiding a blow in a fistfight.

“I keep forgetting!” Her stress was rising as her health bar lowered. In a moment, her avatar fell down, lying on the ground with a view of the man across the ring moonwalking in victory.

“It's alright!” Tommy fed another quarter into Punch Out Classic VR, “Here, Smokin’ Joe is a tough opponent anyway. Try Brian Sutherland, he goes down easy.”

She made her selection and was soon swinging her arms at nothing, while her avatar landed punches on her mulleted contender. “Feet,” Tommy breathed, and she shuffled sideways in time to avoid Brian’s swing. Another punch and he went down. Sylvia jumped for joy and pulled the goggles off. Though it wasn't necessarily an impressive showing, a couple of nothing-better-to-dos had gathered and gave her an encouraging cheer.

“Nice! Try Ali next, he'll show you how to move your feet for real. Here,” he dropped a handful of quarters into her hand, “You're on your own, I've got a high score to beat on Guitar Hero 13.”

Some of the crowd, casual acquaintances of Tommy’s, followed him, while a few others stayed to play cheerleader for Sylvia’s next bout. After a quick count of his quarters, Tommy realized he'd only left enough for two tries. He shrugged, it was alright. He'd just have to beat it in one.

In a moment, he was shredding on the little plastic guitar.

The group of young heroes continued walking through downtown Metropolis taking in all the sights. Sol was the most in awe, despite living on Earth for a little while now he still wasn't used to being around so many aliens. In all seriousness Momentum actually made him feel the most awkward, even though they've been chatting off and on the last few days like the best of friends. Sol was calling himself Ultra Boy on the other side of the United States in Coast City when Cosmic Boy found him. Metropolis is about three times the size of Coast City with about six times as many people. Working as a peacekeeping force for the United Planets came with some benefits in the form of personal credit cards. Sol's new wardrobe was already twice what it was back on Daxam.

"I'm starting to love this city. No wonder Superman called it home. Anybody wanna go see his statue in Centennial Park?" Sol asked no one in particular.

About time the group made it's way to a shopping mall noises could be heard from one of the more old school arcades. Most of the team paid it no mind, however there was a man walking through the mall that had a strange look about him. As he approached a food stand it was clear the girl working at the eatery knew the man.

"You wanna choose a life of making pretzels in this city over me? Do you have ANY idea where I was gonna take us Seline?" he screamed as a little electricity flickered in his eyes.

Lights began flickering off and on as some burnt out or burst from too much electricity going into them. It was clear he had to be stopped, and it would seem most of the Legion had already got beyond earshot of the troubled young man. The arcade, as well as a certain someone, was just next door....

"Well- I mean maybe they didn't notify Cosmo. Maybe its just a really big coincidence that we were the only ones to show up AND the other haven't contacted us yet." Pano proposed in a hopeful manner. He was beginning to doubt his own theory but he still held onto the idea that the others were alright because if Brainiac 5 had the power to kidnap some veteran heroes plus some promising candidates for the Legion of Super Heroes then what chance was there that the current group could take him out. Pano was brought out of his train of thought by the Daxamite, Sol, asking if the group wanted to visit the Superman statue.

"Shlashg yeah!" Pano called out as he shot his fist into the air and quickly brought it down in excitement. Even with all of his speed, Pano still hadn't gotten around to visiting all of the amazing superhero locals around the city.

The epic shredding climax of Wyrmsquad’s masterpiece, Beyond the Burning Plain was overshadowed by some screaming from next door. At first, Tommy turned his head, his fingers still clicking away at the plastic guitar’s buttons by muscle memory, but when he missed a note and his point streak died, he handed the guitar to one of the few bystanders who was still more interested in the game than the scene that was developing nearby. In a moment even those who wanted to keep playing their games had no choice, as the power flickered and all of the consoles reset. A crowd was gathering by the window to try to see sideways at the man who was accosting some girl who was just trying to mind her own business at work.

Tommy looked about and saw nobody trying to help. In fact, as energy seemed to arc off of the man, many seemed to think they had better places to be just now, and only the bravest of voyeurs remained. If only there were something more he could do, he was on his way to the phone in the back of the store to call the police. But how long would it take them to get here? If only… if only it were true. The power that the talking cat had given him, or that he had dreamed about. It knocked about at the back of his head.

But this was it, he realized. This was true moment the cat had meant, when he could help someone with more than mere generosity. All he had to do was say that word… he looked around self consciously. No one was looking at him. If it didn't work, if it wasn't true, no one would see for him to be embarrassed.

He put the phone down and called out.

”Shazam!”

The effect was instantaneous. Lightning struck from the sky, passing through the building’s roof and all of its levels without harming them, and left not Tommy Tinker standing there, but a full grown man. He was tall, and he was strong, and he didn't waste more than a second. He became a green blur, passing incredibly fast, yet gently, through the crowd, to come to rest mere inches from the aggressive, yelling man. A hand on the man’s shoulder stopped his raving in its tracks, and he turned around, wild eyed, to face the alien hero with all the confidence of a man newly come to his powers.

Tommy spoke over him before he got a word out, completely ignoring the small arcs of lightning that were passing from the man’s body to his own. “I think the best thing for you to do is walk away, friend.”

As Tommy cried out, Andrew felt his heart sink.

"I'm starting to regret coming back." He muttered to himself as he undid his cuffs and loosened his tie. "Hey, if I'm going to fight, I might as well look good doing it. I'll be right back, don't hurt yourselves while I'm gone." He stated calmly, turning to the arcade and rushing over, his suit jacket trailing behind him.

Oh boy, I'm actually looking forwards to this, get out some aggression, take my mind off the missing ones, maybe show some punk kid that superpowers don't make you invincible, unless your power is invincibility... oh god is his power invincibility? I can't handle that right now. Andrew closed with the shop quickly, though he had even more quickly begun to think that he had been a little impulsive.

Entering the shop, he approached the two superheroes with a raised eyebrow, though it was invisible to anyone but himself. Two metas? I can feel my resolve weakening. Andrew thought to himself as the darker man flinched away from the other, larger hero. His hands quickly transformed to metal, prepared for any form of attack.

"What's going on in here?" Andrew said, breathing deeply due to his short run. He turned sideways and lifted one hand to his chest, the start of a fighting position. He looked at the green-clad hero intrigued. The power radiating from him could be felt very strongly, even by Andrew, who possessed no natural energy-sensing abilities.

"Listen, both of you, I can tell that you're both very powerful, and I don't wish to antagonize the either of you, but if you could please take this conflict elsewhere, I don't want anyone getting hurt," Andrew pleaded. Though his words rang true about the green-clad one, he was simply appeasing the less-powerful one, he had no worries about that one's combat ability.

Moments Ago...

The group of young heroes making up the new Legion of Superheroes was walking around downtown Metropolis and past an old school arcade. Suddenly power flickered and energy cracked as a metahuman individual approached a young female. After the Daxamite mentioned wanting to go see the Superman Statue in another park he knew after the flickering lights something was gonna go down. In the distance a young alien boy screamed. Nobody could guess that it was in fact the newest champion of the Wizard Shazam, Capt. Marvel.

Now...

"Rao help us..." Sol said under his breath as part of the group began backtracking.

“I think the best thing for you to do is walk away, friend.” commented the new green clad Captain before one of the more seasoned members of the team approached he and the would-be suitor.

"Listen, both of you, I can tell that you're both very powerful, and I don't wish to antagonize either of you, but if you could please take this conflict elsewhere, I don't want anyone getting hurt..." Ferro Lad said in his loosened tie and civies yet still in his mask.

"Is THIS why you came to this place, Seline? Heroes back in town and you think you and the other girls who ditched the group are SAFE?!? Thunderboy here and Metal Face won't keep ANY of you safe!!" the young dark skinned man screamed now with electricity whirling and whipping around like it was alive.

Civilians screamed, people panicked, and the mall was a sight among sights. Sol tried to get a good line of sight on the man to tag him with his heat vision but there were too many people in the line of fire. He'd have to close the gap and do something if Ferro and this new guy in the cape couldn't handle the guy screaming and spitting electricity. The Daxamite couldn't help but wonder if all the good supervillains were in the 21st century, thinking about how lame every criminal he's faced had been. Eye Borg, the futuristic Fastball, and Ghost Face were all losers with sub-par powers compared to Sol in his early days as a hero in Coast City.

"Pano! Help me move some of these people out of harm's way!" yelled Sol at one of the more alien looking members of the team.

In truth, being a survivor of a xenophobic world now on a planet with hundreds of alien species, the new Ultra Boy would never stop being in awe. It didn't mater if they had blue skin, feathers, or fins on their heads, the team was around to help ANYBODY in danger. With metal fists ready to fly, Ferro and the guy in green were ready to rock this loser's world.

"I think you're mistaken, friend," Captain Marvel redoubled his grip, though he winced slightly as the electricity arcing off of the man intensified. "I think this fellow here and I are perfectly capable of protecting everyone here from the likes of you." He put his second hand on the man's other shoulder, and did a pirouette(a dance move learned from a VR game) dragging the man so that Captain Marvel was between him and Seline, and so that he came face to face with Ferro Lad.

"I was hoping," he addressed Ferro Lad now, "Not to fight at all, but -- Mph!" The grunt was from surprise more than pain, as the villain had just jabbed his elbow into Captain Marvel's ribs. The Captain spun him around by his shoulder(not wanting to hit a man from behind) and said "Very well!" as he delivered a rather solid right hook to his jaw.

"Roger that!" Pano-Zu said as he took off back towards the mall as he began scooping up people left and right, making sure to work his way out from the origin point of where all of the electricity was coming from. Under normal circumstances Pano probably would have had the area cleared in five seconds tops but he was a little slower as he could barely keep his eyes off the unmistakable logo on this new hero's chest. It was no other than the ensignia of Captain Marvel! Pano cursed his luck as he was stuck with simple super speed while this new guy had the literal power of the gods.

Momentum still made quick work of getting everybody out of the area including the lady who was apparently named Seline and he took a seat at one of the rest chairs and got a good view of the scene unfolding. Pano had no doubts that the other would be able to handle this punk in a jiffy as demonstrated by Captain Marvel's slug to the man's jaw.

"Woo hoo! Go Cappytan Marvel!" Pano cheered from his seated position.

The green clad alien, dubbed Capt. Marvel by the Legion's Xudarian Momentum, was asked to come back to Legion HQ. He was in as much shock as the young heroes, the aforementioned speedster claiming the powers and symbol match that of the 21st century hero Capt. Marvel. Nobody really paid attention but somebody else may have went missing right in front of everyone's eyes en route to HQ. Not everyone used their flight rings.

"But I thought that ancient tv show said his name was Shabam or something..?" Sol asked to nobody in particular as they entered HQ.

Cosmic Boy saw the new hero as well as seasoned member Ferro Lad in the monitor room. They spoke of many things, the crippled leader of the team had even mentioned meeting Capt. Marvel in his adventures into the past. Everyone who wasn't in their personal quarters congratulated the new teammate as he exited the monitor room with a Legion buckle now holding onto his cape. You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but Ultra Boy was the slightest bit jealous. This guy is the definition of true legacy. Sol just took the name of a guy who had similar powers, but wondered if it was too late to rename himself Superboy. Sol wanted to test the new guys power in the War Room, but something came up.

"There's a situation just outside of Gotham. Some replicating man calling himself Multiplus has leveled half of Old Bludhaven and there are numerous casualties and injured civilians. It appears this guy's got some strength too. You ready to get your hands dirty, Cap?" Cosmic Boy explained as screens popped up in the center of the central monitoring hub.

"You're being too quiet, Horus. Something wrong? I figured you'd be more welcoming of another hero with powers tied to the era of the Justice League....", Cosmic Boy said under his breath to the stoic warrior, "Cap why don't you take Bulk Lad, Superforce, and Hawk to check out Old Bludhaven. The rest of us will be here if you guys need backup. Top speed on your flight rings should get you there in about fifteen minutes..." the handicapped leader instructed.

Thirteen minutes and forty-seven seconds later....

The four heroes could be seen in the distance. One the size of a wrecking ball, another glowing blue and ready for action, and the two heroes with ties to the Justice League flying ahead with their fists and Nth metal weapons forward.

"First thing's first guys..." Cosmic Boy spoke over the flight rings, "...get the injured civilians out of there. Emergency response crews are just outside of city limits waiting for you. Keep the fight to the already wrecked terrain and look out for more survivors."

Having finished the second of the two protein bars Dai had special ordered from Glucona. The former hypersu fighter was now certainly as massive as he was in his competitive hay day. A hay day that wasn’t that long ago certainly, but still. Even considering that though Dai was all smiles, his first real assignment with the Legion! Even better, his doing it with the reincarnation of Captain Marvel and Hawkman!

Even with his size reaching a ton, Dai was flying effortlessly through the air. Loving the sensation as he kept glancing over at his teammates. He knew he needed to be taking this more seriously, but he couldn’t help but smile at what a cool moment he was in. Heck when Captain Marvel made his debut, Dai quickly joined Pano and cheered on like a fanboy.

“So like... you have all the cool powers of Captain Marvel?” Dai asked Tommy glancing over. He nodded with a grin that showed just how much he was geeking out. “That’s so cool...”

Tommy smiled at Bulk Lad, looking back at him as he flew backwards. He enjoyed flight immensely, he thought he might never set down on the ground again.

“If you know much about old heroes, perhaps you will be the judge of that.” He turned his head to look forward as they approached their destination, his smile slipping off of his face. “I suppose we'll see now. We won't want people being interrupted as we get civilians to safety. I'll see if I can catch his attention. Maybe we can get him talking.”

Captain Marvel sped forward before someone could comment on his naïveté. He landed lightly on what was once a roof, but now sat crooked only a few feet above the ground.

“Hey there!” He kept his hands up in a casual, non-threatening gesture, “I suppose you feel as though you have a good reason for what you're doing. Maybe if you let me know what it is, we can work things out. What's your name? I'm Captain Marvel.”

Even being as much of a rookie technically as Captain Marvel was, he still couldn't hold back the look him and the others gave one another when Cap suggested talking things out. The look that suggested 'oh those rookies am I right?' Still, Bulk Lad was aching for a fight. It was his hypersu skills that got him on the team for the most part. Well that and his insane appitate, that probably helped in a weird sort of way.

Well... they did have Matter Eater Lad on the team so...

When Bulk Lad got close, he didn't wait for any of the numerous clones to start talking. By the property damage that had already happened it was clear they weren't in a talkative mood. Instead Bulk Lad cut the flying he was doing. Suddenly diving to the ground like a rock. Bulk Lad aimed his shot as he fell, finally with a mighty thrust slammed both of his feet right into the surprised chest of one of the clones with a drop kick.

Bulk Lad - 13 hp
Multiplus - 15 hp [-1 hp from drop kick]

Even though Bulk Lad's landing seemed to make the ground quake, as well as left Bulk Lad laying in a small self made crater. He was still plenty spry enough to roll back a touch, using momentum and a little shocking agility to get back to his feet. Glancing over Bulk Lad cupped his hands so Captain Marvel could hear him. "Hey not that I don't appreciate the passive approach, but they don't seem to want to talk!" Bulk Lad sounded like he was having a ton of fun, why wouldn't he? Beating people up was something he was very good at.

Before Bulk Lad could get back to work though he felt a few of the clones suddenly start climbing on him. Trying to pound away on him, but all the small strikes weren't doing much to stop him. Only making things worse was Bulk Lad, laughing as he was swiping at them like they were insects. "Hey stop that! It tickles!" Bulk Lad commanded without a response. So finally the massive hero took matters into his own hands. Grabbing one of the clones at their legs. Hoisting the clone around like a human shaped clothesline. He started swinging at the other two clones to get them off of him.

Bulk Lad - 9 hp [-4, two basic punches from clones]
Multiplus - 13 hp [-2 from two clotheslines]

Old Bludhaven...

Multiplus surveyed the scene and kept replicating himself. The current incarnation of Hawkman was surrounded by several of the masked men. The Ungaran codenamed Bolt came in to try and assist, but it seemed as if the clones knew Hawk's wings were a part of him and attempted to rip them completely off along with whatever bits of his armor they could manage. The blue clad Superforce was lost in the crowd. For all of the muscle and speed of Bulk Lad and Capt. Marvel, nothing could have prepared them for this type of assault right out of the gate. Hawk was the single most experienced member of the team with the knowledge of his past lives, and he's pretty much been beaten into submission already. Bolt was on the defensive but it was clear the team needed an opening to get at the actual enemy and not more duplicates. Her eyes burst with electricity and an electric lightning wave ripped through everything within ten meters of the hero.

Hawk - 0 hp [needed sidelined]
Bolt - 0 hp [needed sidelined]
Multiplus - 10 hp [-3 from the electric waves and lightning]

Back at HQ...

Cosmic Boy sat in his chair looking for any leads he could find on the disappearance of some recruits from the monitor room. He pulled up news footage of the battle in Old Bludhaven with the replicating villain and saw that both Hawk and Bolt were down and Bulk Lad and Capt. Marvel were on their own.

"The guy in green is new, but the Gluconian and his martial arts should be able to hold them off till I can get them some backup..." Cosmic Boy thought checking to see who was still at HQ, "Pano, if you're getting this.. Bulk Lad and Capt. Marvel are outnumbered and Hawk and Bolt need to be taken somewhere safe away from the chaos. How quick can you get there?"

Pano had been pacing back and forth ever since the other team got sent to take on Multiplus. He was worried, sure, but the main reason for his pacing was unrest. He wished more than anything to be out there taking on another villain, this time by the side of a new Captain Marvel and his pal Bulk Lad.

Having heard Cosmic's message, Pano ran for the front door "Faster than a speeding bullet that's for sure..." Pano called back to Cosmic Boy through his ring as he was already half way to join his comrades in battle.

Multiplus - 10 hp
Momentum - 16 hp
Bulk Lad - 9 hp
Capt Marvel - 15 hp

Momentum was going as fast as he could muster towards the battle. Things were getting bad for his fellow legionnaires and a little extra help from him probably wouldn't be the worst thing in the world considering the circumstance. Upon arriving at the scene, Pano was in shock at the sheer amount of similarly clad people there were in the area until he remembered that this was a duplicating villain. The speedster make a snap decision and took off towards one of the copies beating on Hawkman. Pano came rushing in and managed to strike the clone straight in the mouth with a great deal of force.

"Well theres a broken- dislocated, no broken- ahh whatever. I hit you." Pano stammered as he tried to say something cool after hitting the clone to the ground. As Pano stood over the copy another few managed to get the jump on Pano and tackled him to the ground. Momentum realized he wasn't much good off of his feet but that didn't stop him from using what space he had to pummel into his assailants. After knocking his off the fiends and getting to his feet, Pano was greeted by a combo attack by two of the copies involving one spinning another and bashing Pano in the head. While the pain Pano was feeling was great, he couldn't help but think of the irony that the copies had used their momentum against him in a coordinated attack.

Momentum: 10 [-6 from savage beating]
Multiplus: 5 [-5 from Momentum's superspeed beatings]
