Artemis relaxed as he said she looked tense. "Thanks." She said in a whisper brushing back into him as a return playfully. Nikko walked up to Cyren. "Are you a hunter?" He asked him tilting his head curiously.

Cyren leaned down as they walked, giving Nikko a soft grin. "Yes, I happen to be..a guard..and a hunter..My official title is Guard. Why? Do you..want to be one..?" He asked the little cub, before he added. "Your mother..wanted me to teach you some things."

Nikko smiled as he said he was a guard. "Yes I do! I want to be the best hunter I can!" He said jumping up and down with excitement. Kalina laughed as Nikko got excited. "He has always wanted to be a hunter....I don't know what I wanna be." She said smiling. Artemis laughed as Nikko was excited. "After we set up the den we can practice, okay Nikko?" She asked him teasingly. "Yes mama." He said happily.

Cyren then looked at Kalina. "I'm sure you'll..figure it out. I can always..answer questions." He chuckled at Nikko, before he nodded. "I'll teach you what I know."

Artemis smiled as they were all getting along. She found a bush and pulled off a few leaves. "Here Kalina you can help mama." She said letting her little cub carry a few in her mouth smiling. She was always very helpful.

Cyren then pulled off some leaves, making a small pile. He picked it up in his mouth, giving him what looked to be a leaf-filled smile. It was funny,considering the leaves were the same color as his eyes too.

Pride Lands
Gumu looked up at his father as they patrolled the Pride Lands. "Hey dad, guess what!" He continued walking beside him.

Shupavu smiled down at his son. "What, Gumu?" He stopped after a few moments to listen to what his son had to say.

"I think I already have an idea who my future guard will be." Gumu stated as he stopped walking as well.

Shupavu smiled, seeming to know exactly who his son could be talking about. "And who would that be?" He asked, still smiling warmly.

Gumu stood tall and puffed his chest out as if to say he was proud of his choice. "Nikko." He answered as his tail waved happily in the air.

Shupavu nodded with a smile. "I'm sure he'd be honored to hear that." He looked towards the rock to see Zi had perched herself on it. "Good morning, Zi." He said in greeting to the bird.

"Same to you. Has Kc returned yet?" Zi wanted to know this because she has been her apprentice since the other day.

"Well, if I heard right. Cyren said she would return on her own time and if not, he would search for her so I don't think there's any need to worry about her yet." He reassured her.

Eastern Pride

Maisha had set out to find Kisari to let her know the decision she made about her role, her cubs following behind her. After she got through with her, she needed to train both her cubs, one in hunting, the other she wasn't sure what to train him on today. Male cubs were hard to do that with. Maybe I'll have him tag along with Crimson. It was a nice idea, but would he be able to handle the little wanderer? She certainly hoped so.

Artemis could not help but laugh as she looked over at Cyren. She grabbed a few herself and started to head back to the dens. Nikko grabbed as many as he could and also followed them, excited about practicing later that day. No one ever taught him how to hunt and fight so this was going to be amazing for him.

And so it seemed that Cyren was following the family back to their den. He couldn't help but to smile at how Nikko was excited at the prospect of learning. He would learn quickly, most likely.

Soon they arrived at her side of the den and the cubs put all the leaves down smiling at Artemis and Cyren. They were happy they were able to help them out. Artemis loved seeing them happy. "Thank you darlings." She said giggling and licking Kalina on her forehead.

Cyren dropped his leaves, before he ruffled the hair atop Nikko's head with a paw. "After we finish, we'll train."

After walking for awhile, Juma thought about taking their new friend to her favorite spot in the jungle. She turned to Phospho. "Wanna see my favorite spot?" She asked with smile. "It's very beautiful." She stated.

Wanga nodded in agreement. "It is." She looked up at Phospho.

@Letmehaveone2"sure" phospho said happily now that he had someone with him who he trusts. "Wait how old are you two anyway?" Phospho said wondering.

Wanga turned to look at him. "5 months." She looked at the other cub, wondering her age as well.

Juma had warmed up to the teen lion by now and was no longer being cautious around him. "6 for me." She told him as she led the way to her spot in the jungle.

Nikko laughed as he did so. "Sounds like a lot of fun!" He said smiling. Artemis could feel a warm feeling seeing her cubs taking to Cyren so well. She helped lay out some leaves for them to lay on and spread some that she would want to hang up. Kalina was bouncing up and down laughing with Nikko. "She is a ball full of energy today. I envy her youth." She said to Cyren laughing.

Cyren then chuckled,as he nudged Artemis's side playfully. "Please. You looked plenty full of energy yesterday." He said. The Blonde lion looked up at the lip of her den, trying to think of ways to hang the leaves securely.

@Letmehaveone2 "wow I guess I would have to protect you two if things go south" phosphor said chuckling nervously. He really doesn't like fights but he would to protect his new friends.

Artemis laughed when he said that. "Well that may be true...but over the course of the day she will be way more hyper then me or you." She said nudging him playfully. She looked to see how they could hang it up as well. "If I get Kalina to rest on my shoulders she can get the leaves around the lip." She said trying to think if that would work.
