Cyren chuckled. As he shrugged, he nodded in agreement. "That could work, but we need something to secur it around the lip, unless..that crack is big enough around the base. Nevermind." He rubbed the back of his neck.

Artemis stood up with her paws on the back wall to look at the lip to see if there was enough room. "Maybe a little mud would help it stick?" She said trying to think of a plan.

"Maybe. Down by the watering hole, there's plenty. It gives the cubs an excuse to get dirty." He said playfully, grinning.

The cubs chuckled at that. Juma saw a familiar clearing. "Here we are." She said as she went to her spot near the waterfall and sat down. Wanga had met Juma in this same spot last night. Of course that was before they ran into Phospho.

Kisari had woken up early and enjoyed some time alone in her den. She got up afterward and went to the hunting grounds. Crimson did say that he hunts as well, but she wasn't sure if he had gotten the chance yet this morning.

She hid in the tall grass watching the gazelle and zebra trying to decide on how many she would need to catch as well as waiting for the right moment to go after one.

Juma pawed at the water as she slowly stepped in. She loved the feel of small waves when it reached her. "Wanna join?" She asked the both of them, happily standing there in the water.

Wanga shook her head as she wasn't too fond of water. "Nah, I'm good." She chose to relax in the shade under a tree.

Maisha told her cubs to stay put for a little as she went to the hunting grounds, thinking she would find her here. She looked around to see if she could at least catch a glimpse of her hunting. She wanted to stay back and watch to see how good her hunting skills were and if lead huntress would be best suited for her.

Roho and Malaika were having a play fight with each other.

Kisari saw that a couple gazelle were separated from the group. She slowly made her way closer to them. She watched the two of them for a bit, waiting for one to wander somewhat away from the other.

Once they weren't too close to each other, Kisari pounced after one of them. She managed to get that one, but saw the other one trying to run off. Figuring, she should get at least a couple of them, Kisari chased after it in the tall grass.

She pounced on the second one once she caught up to it.

Crimson had woken quite early himself but had chosen to have a bath before he did anything. His light red fur did not give him much camouflage but he had learned how to use his stealth abilities. He had been watching Kisari hunt before he noticed Maisha watching her as well so he stayed out of the way and instead watched the cub from his perch.
Being born in the dark lands, and being trained from a cub how to survive in a land that is far tougher then the outlands had made him far more aware and alert of his surroundings.

@Letmehaveone2 "um sure why not" phospho said as he walked over and got in. He layed down in the water where it was shallow.

Artemis laughed when he said the cubs could get dirty. "That's true. They have needed a bath anyway. If they get their fun it will be easier to convince them to wash off later." She said smiling at him. She grabbed one leaf to get the mud in. "Lets head that way." She said with the leaf in her mouth laughing.

Artemis would have seen Cyren laughing, as he beckoned for the cubs to follow behind them. "Let's go get some mud!"

As she watched, Maisha confirmed her decision would let Kisari know once she finished her hunt. For now, she made her way back to where she left the twins and to her surprise, Roho hadn't wandered off this time. It looked like he and his sister were having fun. She decided she would watch for a bit and sat down.

Roho almost pinned his sister, but at the last second was flipped over on his back with her on top of him. He hated how his sister almost always won the wrestling game. He rolled out from under her. "Cheater." He said.

"I don't cheat, brother." Malika countered playfully. "I'm just THAT good." She giggled as she said that.

Juma waded over to him and playfully splashed him the pretended to run away, laughing. One thing she was taught was that a little fun went a long way. She also knew it was a great way to bond with others.

Wanga was still laying in the shadow of the tree as she watched Juma and Phospho.

@Letmehaveone2"oh no you got me" phospho said as he chased her and splashed her back. He ran back to were he was waiting for her to come over.

Artemis smiled as her cubs jumped up and down cheering. They always loved to get messy when they were aloud to. It also helped keep them cool in the hot sun. She smiled as they ran in front of them making sure they were heading in the right direction.

Juma ran back over to him, shaking water off her fur resulting in another splash towards him. "Haha." She looked over at Wanga. "You wanna join us?" She asked, hoping she would take the offer.

Wanga looked at her from her spot. "I'm not a fan of water, remember?" She answered.

Juma shrugged at this. "Suit yourself." She turned her attention back to Phospho and continued playing with him.

Kisari soon started dragging a couple dead gazelle back. Well one at a time. She wasn't about to sit there and try dragging two at once. That'd just be crazy. She saw that the two cubs were playing. Hopefully, Roho doesn't wander off today again.

Cyren walked beside Artemis, his relief clear at how the cubs were taking to him. He whispered over to her. "They're great."

Maisha had another thought about her cubs which was who would take over when her time was up. Another reason she wanted to train them so she could see who had the best traits for that. She loved how Malaika was always a good listener, doesn't seem to ever take off unless Maisha allowed it. Then there's Roho who she wasn't sure about, knowing how he liked to wander off now and then. It made her worry he would put his pride in danger if he were to take over. It was a hard decision. She looked over to see Kisari in the distance. She's returned. She walked over to her. "Hey, I saw you out there. I decided the best role for you would be huntress." She would have said lead if Kisari had anybody except maybe Crimson every now and then to lead.

Roho walked up to his mother, looking bored. "Can I explore again today?" He asked.

Maisha looked down at him. Well, at least he asked this time. "Hmm. I don't think you'll get a chance as I have plans for you and your sister later on today." She then turned her attention back to Kisari.

Roho looked up at his mother. "What kinda plans?" He asked.

Malaika ran over to respond to him since Maisha was busy. "She's probably going to train us." She looked up at her. "Right, Mama?"

@Letmehaveone2 phospho laughed and jumped causing a bigger splash to hit juma. "Why don't you like water" phospho asked wanga curiously.
