Luz

After learning a new skill Kuz was very tired of training. She decided to call it a night and go to bed. It was appaired that she need to work with other in other to get stronger fast so tomorrow she would try to get out as soon as possible to party up with someone. The next morning Luz woke up as soon as she felt she had enough rest, got something to eat(if they can afford it), and waited outside for her group to show. Today she was going to join Steg and Skubli in hunting for more of theses new flowers, and if she had the time she would look for adhesive for Lomen. Hopeful if she doesn't, someone else would take the responsibility off her hands so her Clan could get better weapons.

Stegs

The first thing Stegs did after he woke was check out his planted berries. To his disappointment they hadn't grown at all yet but at least they weren't eaten by animals, so that was something. While he was at the cave entrance he noticed that Luz had seemingly woken up before him and deciding that it would be a waste of time not to go after Skubli joined he grabbed his club. A quick check of the knots seemed to reveal his weapon was unlikely to fall apart soon. He also grabbed a handfull of his edible berries for breakfast.

Since he had nothing better to do for the moment Stegs made a mental checklist of his goals for that day. His primary objective was to drag that flower to the cave, afterwards he would try to find some plants either to experiment with or plant. During his plants collecting he would also try to find and kill at least one small animal, in order to increase his low hunting/combat skills.

With his plans for the day made he walked over to Luz, glad she had been willing to join him again. Morning Luz. If you're hungry you can grab some red and green berries."

Zectoll

Day 5: Growing pains

Zectoll slept hard, his body unmoving, his mind a deep cloud of darkness. No dreams came to him as he passed through the night into morning, and as he opened his eyes he became acutely aware of the tight soreness wrapped around his whole body. The goblin begab to rise to his feet, wiping drool from his mouth and straightening his right ear, which was mashed against the side of his head. All the while he groggily grunted, unconsciously stretching his muscles in an attempt to ease the tension and soreness. He soon noticed the timer, the summation of which would spell the end of his bodies soreness.

Through the pain of his muscles, he could feel that they had grown, the resulting pain being a part of the process of the develop of new fibers. Zectoll relished the pain, as he imagined himself growing large and muscled. His mind then wandered onto the subject of the King of the Northern mountain once more. In his mind flashed and image of a huge wolf, thick corded muscles rippling underneath a steel black coat and a maw filled to the brim with glistening white teeth. Much more pain he would need to go through to get his body in a powerful enough state to fulfill his goal.

With determination burning in his eyes Zectoll gathered up his fang fist, and Alpha rabbit horned and headed to the cave entrance. He continued to stretch as he observed the outside of the cave. He would await the ending of the timer, as he awaited for Lomen to awaken. He looked around and saw the Goblin Stegs was also up and about. Good sunrise to you, Goblin Stegs. It seems you are interested in these plants. To what end do you do this? Zectoll was curious as to what value plants had other than for food, or for using as a means to ambush prey. Since berries didn't fight back, he found little value in eating them.

Lomen

@Jangel13@El Noche@Duthguy@demonspade64

Day 5: A Grave of Rubble

Lomen awoke to pain aching all over his body. As his eyes opened he saw a counter in front of him, counting down until the status listed went away he hoped. Rising slowly, Lomen felt a bit stronger then yesterday, likely due to the mock hunt and wandered to the edge of the cave. As the fresh air hit his face, Lomen woke up more to the day and felt a natural pull towards the edge of the mountain the cave rested in. With a quick look around the cave, it looked as if no-one had yet noticed him thanks to most still being asleep. Zectoll and Stegs seemed pre-occupied and wanting to let his brothers have some time together, quickly following this strange feeling alone.

The morning air was fresh and inspired Lomen to take a few deeps breaths, giving a somewhat enhanced awareness due to more air being supplied to the body and brain. With this increase in awareness, Lomen took into account the wet ground and how slippery the mountain face appeared to be. With this in mind, Lomen was careful of his footing, trying to distribute his weight as efficiently as possible to prevent slipping on the terrain. It was a bit difficult due to the aching of his body, he soon grew used to efficiently moving on the uneven and slippery terrain. With his footing taken care of, Lomen then looked around, noticing some rocks tumbling down nearby and was weary of the cliff face next to him.

This proved to be a life saver since some loose stones hurled towards him from the cliff. It was relatively easy to avoid them, but their size could have been enough to break his legs if he had been caught off guard. As for the danger of the stones, it was relatively soon revealed how dangerous the situation could have been.

A few paces ahead was a boulder surrounded with a large amount of rubble and upon approach, Lomen felt that this was the source of his strange feeling. It didn't seem any different from normal rubble, until Lomen gazed at the small pool of blood seeping out from the stones. With some fear, Lomen cleared away a few of the smaller stones around the boulder and after a short time had revealed something quite saddening to him. Before him laid the crushed corpse of Kishi, the fire starter and the only other Goblin that had hunted on Lomen's first day hunting. With a moment to let the reality set in, Lomen got to work, first picking up the tusk that Kishi still held in his now open, dead hand. It had a crack running down it, appropriate for the scene and circumstances that it had been found.

Lomen first went about creating an above ground grave, using the nearby rubble and mud from the wet earth and crafted a proper resting place for his brother. As he worked his body ached but he didn't care at all, seeing it as insignificant to the task he had taken on. Once the grave was finished, Lomen placed his hands together.

Thanks to his ability, Notice from the Dead one, Lomen was able to go about giving Kishi the proper burial service that was deserving of all things in his opinion. All thing live and should be at least given respect for what is contributed or lost in death. The curse soon began to take effect as it edged at his mind but Lomen looked upon his brother's grave and knew that even though death is terrifying, their are still the living. His body aching was proof enough that he was alive, along with the others still at peace inside the cave. With that in mind, it revitalized Lomen's want to live a fruitful and fulfilling life with this one chance he has.

Once his work was done, Lomen walked back home to the cave, practicing his footing. After getting used to the terrain, Lomen then tried to mimic Zectoll, trying to make his footsteps as silent as possible to avoid monsters and also gain an upper hand in future battles. This also helped take his mind off of the death of Kishi and would relax him a bit before he had to give the dire news to the clan. Upon approaching the cave and peering in, it seemed that the whole en devour had taken a relatively short amount of time, appearing longer due to the mental strain in the event. The group of Zectoll Stegs and Luz were still haning around the entrance of the cave and appeared to still be talking among themselves.

With a small smile, Lomen looked to Zectoll, Luz, and Stegs with a somewhat saddened look. Even if Lomen didn't realize it, his face couldn't hide that something un-comforting had occurred. Silently he made his way over to Grandpa Goblin and stood there for a moment, not sure of how to put the words together before resting on his knees, placing the broken tusk in-between them. After a few times of opening and closing his mouth with no sound, Lomen took a deep breath.

"Grandfather. I. . .I . . I found Kishi's body. It has been crushed under the weight of a boulder near the cliff face of the mountain and. . . Grandfather. . . Thank you. With the knowledge you gave me I was able to give him an appropriate burial service and. . . I . . I regret he is no longer with us but I am glad I could at least give him the service he deserved. It still hasn't fully settled in the scene I witnessed but how should I tell the rest of the clan? I worry for my brothers and sisters that they . . they might become lost without him. "

Lomen felt that even though he himself was fairly certain in his direction, others of the clan may not and could have looked to Kishi as a roll figure. With that in mind Lomen still held concern and took a few moments to regain his composure with a few deep breaths.

"Above all thank you Grandfather and I am sorry to bring such woeful news."

With that said, Lomen exhaled and rested his mind as he watched the counter till his aches went away. During this time he also looked over at his brothers and sisters in the cave with some happiness as that it backed the resolve of his thinking that the living will support each other and will learn from the dead. With open ears he awaited Grandpa Goblin's response.

Another tomb-

grandpa was watching as the young ones were gathering no doubt to go out on another hunt and learn more. He was smiling and he was relaxed up until he soon saw little Lomen come over before he presented him with a cracked tusk and he knew then and there who it belonged to or rather who it used to belong to. He listened as he heard him explain how he found Kishi buried under ruble and he sighed loudly knowing that this was truly something that should have happened. Kishi was one of the smart ones and for him to die so suddenly was saddening even more so knowing that it was the young one in front of him who buried the body.

He moved his hand over Lomen gently petting his head "It's okay young one. I am sorry you had to be the one to bury him though. He deserved better then to die from an accident. Please don't worry about telling the others, you have done enough" he said softly trying to comfort him before Grandpa stood up going over to the others to tell them the news...

@The 4 Winds

Once Grandpa had left Lomen alone he soon felt a tug towards the place where they buried the other two goblins. Where they performed the service for those that had beside Lomen before. He felt the urge to move over their knowing their wouldn't be anyone else there. Once their he was treated to the sight of what could only be considered a ghost a transparent being with a long black and tattered robe covering most of its body and he couldn't see the face of the being in front of him. It didn't even touch the ground as if it were floating before it held out its porcelain white hand as it held it out to him as if offering Lomen something. "Build me a shrine" It said in a quiet voice before what looked like a string moved towards him from her hand. When it touched his body he was flooded with information about what the spirit wanted and telling him what she was. Before Lomen could ask the being anything it vanished fading away.

Goblin Lomen: Lomen came face to face with the goddess of death and was given Shrine to the fallen the goblin learned how to create a shrine to honor the goddess of death and give tribute to her.
Lomen also gained the blessing Deaths favor The goblin has seen the burial of death and performed it himself properly. The goddess of death has taken notice and can now be contacted if given proper tribute.

Grandpa went over to the young ones and he said "Little ones I'm saddened to say that goblin Lomen found Kishi's corpse nearby, crushed under rubble. Lomen buried him nearby, from now on I want you all to be careful I don't want to see anymore of you die he said softly. He needed to stay impartial but damn it he couldn't let all of them die one by one and he couldn't hunt anymore the best he could do was make their home a safe place for them.

Stegs

Good sunrise to you, Goblin Stegs. It seems you are interested in these plants. To what end do you do this? Stegs was surprised by Zectoll but also more than happy to answer his brother's question. Well, food is one reason. Sure "hunting" plants and berries doesn't make you stronger but at least we will have something to eat even if we don't find prey. And if we can grow them we'll have more time that Goblins like Kishi can use to make new items. There is also the fact that some of them can be used for medicine and who knows what else. I haven't tried it but I think the yellow berries can be used to poison weapons, in case we ever have to fight enemies so strong that we might have to be willing to kill them without eating them.

Of course Kishi wasn't the only one using their free time wisely but since Stegs didn't know anything about Skubli finding iron, Luzz's training or Lomen's work on a grave he naturally didn't mention those things. He was just about to mention another use for his plants namely bait when Grandpa Goblin came up and delivered some bad news.

Kishi the goblin most skilled at making items had died, and to make it worse in Stegs' opinion it sounded like it wasn't done by an animal but that it instead was an accident. At least if you face a dangerous animal you can choose to run away but an accident will always catch by a surprise. He immediately wondered how many ways there were to die by accident in their cave, the place he always thought was safe.

Luz

Luz smiled warmly at Steg when offered her some berries. "Ah, thank i haven't had a chance to try the red ones yet." She happy fully said before taking a hand full of the berries Steg offered her. She then listens to what Steg had to say about plant and berry could be used to make both medicine and poison. Falling on the medicine seems nice but to be honestly the poison sounded more interesting to Luz. "How much plants are we dragging back cause i want to find that adhesive today for Kishi." She said brightly. Now that she think about it make she should help him make weapons.

That was before the news delivered...

and the other Goblin got to see her rare frown after she found out that the man who helps her ended up dead from a cave accident. "Death by accident are you serious?" She said sounding displeased as she looked down. As much as she hated the fact she just had to accept it. All she could do about it was the sigh and wonder if their home was even safe.

- Skubli -

@Jangel13(Anyone can interact)

Skubli's night was peaceful. After resting for most of the day, Skubli was vitalized while his siblings slept. He peacefully sat in his alcove, playing around with the small chunks of iron ore, contemplating them with great care. They were harder than anything he had encountered before, which wasn't saying much, however his sharp claws were unable to do more than scratch them, which thoroughly intrigued and disgruntled him.

Skubli took pride in the sharpness of his talons, proud that they could excavate the stone when his siblings struggled to do the same. It gave him an edge over them that he had previously lacked. It wasn't that Skubli was trying to become superior to the other goblins; he merely felt like he was less of a Goblin than the rest. They had crazy strength, speed, and dexterity, while he was merely small and quiet.

As Skubli's mind trailed off, so did his consciousness, leaving him to the darkness of his dreams.

Many images appeared, most of them shadowy and indistinct. The beautiful fish once again reentered this tiny Goblin's dreamworld, leading him deeper into the black waters. He was once again tempted to follow them, but the fear of the water held him captive on shore. As their light faded, so did all conscious thought, and Skubli slept well into the next day.

When he came to, he heard a vague mention of Kishi from Grandpa, however his voice echoed off of many rocks from a fair distance away and not all could be heard.

Skubli drowsily woke himself up and headed out into the cave, ready to greet the new day.

Skubli resumed his exploration of the cave, eager to find any other crevices he could possibly locate. The idea of exploring was thrilling to Skubli, and for a brief moment, the thought of venturing out of the cave to investigate the outside world crossed the runt's mind, however he quickly pushed it aside. Without a companion, he would most certainly fall prey to the first beast he encountered.

After a good deal of searching the cave, Skubli wandered over to the mouth of the cavern, dejected that he hadn't discovered anything else of interest.

The breeze that filtered into the room drew Skubli's attention, and he briefly considered venturing out alone. He sat there for quite some time, pondering if he should leave the cave alone.

Zectoll

Day 5:A Flame quenched by stone

Well, food is one reason. Sure "hunting" plants and berries doesn't make you stronger but at least we will have something to eat even if we don't find prey. And if we can grow them we'll have more time that Goblins like Kishi can use to make new items. There is also the fact that some of them can be used for medicine and who knows what else. I haven't tried it but I think the yellow berries can be used to poison weapons, in case we ever have to fight enemies so strong that we might have to be willing to kill them without eating them.

Zectoll nodded. He thought Goblin's Stegs reasoning in pursuing plant knowledge to be quite reasonable, though the sentiment behind such reasoning did not with him. To many safety nets in play causes one to become lax, in Zectoll's mind one must pursue life with a blazing passion deep inside. He watched as Goblin Luz ate of the berries, her and Goblin Stegs beginning to discuss their plans for gathering more plant matter. Zectoll was curious as to what the two goblins would accomplish today, though his aims resided upon a more violent path. He spun the Alpha rabbit horn in his hands, from the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of Lomen, a strange look splayed across his brothers face. Something was not right this morning, Zectoll could feel it in the air. He was not surprised when Grandpa Goblin approached them, though the news brought forth from the cave's Elder shocked Zectoll to the core.

Goblin Kishi, was dead. Killed by falling stone. Zectoll could scarcely believe the words being said to him. Goblin Kishi, one of two goblins Zectoll referred to as brother, the one who had given him his first spear allowing him to begin his journey to dethrone the King of the Mountain, the one who discovered the secret of crafting fire was dead. As the news settled into Zectoll's mind, he began to wonder, what were Kishi's goals? For what purpose did Kishi strive towards? Zectoll walked over to Goblin Kishi's living space, examining his Brothers belongings. In a small corner, Zectoll noticed some markings. It seemed that Goblin Kishi was creating a map of sorts, Zectoll only recognized a small portion of the map. As he stood there, contemplating the loss, the last words Kishi spoke to him echoed in his mind"Thank you Brother Zectoll, I hope my weapon has served you well. I am glad to see that you have created your own weapons! Maybe you'll take after me? Ha Ha Ha!

Zectoll sat down, as a wave of sadness rolled over him. Grief and fear, seeped into his mind like a dense fog, a gift of the Chained Grief Curse. To think that Kishi would die so suddenly, and in such a random way. Remembering Grandpa's wisdom in dealing with fear, Zectoll resolved himself to face and accept the loss of his brother. Though Zectoll did not share Kishi's general foresight in the knowledge of creating things, he would honor his brothers memory by perfecting his own crafting skills in the coming days. Though before he could do that, he would need to become formidable enough that neither boulders nor forest beasts could do him harm.

With new resolve Zectoll rose, slight pain rippling through his limbs. He once again went to the entrance of the cave. Though this day has grieved us, we must not lose hope. Goblin Kishi is gone now, but we must continue on. A new day, a new hunt. I will be venturing into the forest once again, to gain food and strength. Anyone who wishes to become blooded upon the beasts of the forest are free to join me. Zectoll said to the general collection of goblins. With the passing of Goblin Kishi, there remained only two goblins with much experience hunting outside the cave to his knowledge. Those Goblins being himself and his Brother Lomen. He hoped that some of the goblins less experienced with death and violence would venture out with him to gain some experience. After addressing the group, Zectoll made his way over to Lomen, sitting next to him. What shall we hunt today, brother. His voice was somber, biting back sadness, holding onto resolve with thin threads.

Grandpa watched as they all went through their emotions about the death of one of their brothers. Grandpa was saddened by the death of one of the best of the cave. Each went through their own emotions Luz was angered by it while Zectoll went to where Kishi was and looked at his place in the cave. He had no doubt he was remembering his brother fondly before he gained his resolve to hunt once more. Grandpa went over to Luz before saying "Sadly it is true young one. he said before he directed what he would say to the rest of them "Don't let this stop all of your from fulfilling your tasks home is still safe but you cant control the world" he said softly as he sighed a bit before he went over to his spot and relaxed thinking about what he would do about this...

Stegs

"How much plants are we dragging back cause i want to find that adhesive today for Kishi." Stegs thought the answer over, after heaving heard about the death of perhaps the most intelligent member of their tribe he really didn't want to be alone out in the woods. On the other hands it would be unfair to deny Luz to accomplish her own goals, especially after the speech he just gave about his interest in plants. "Well, collecting that flower from the other day is the only thing I'm sure I need help with, so maybe afterwards you can look for that adhesive if you still want.Just... you know be careful."

Having heard Zectoll's invitation for the hunt he walked over to him and Lomen. "I know I must become stronger to survive, even though my main interest is in those plants. With that in mind would it okay if I joined for the hunt tomorrow? I have something potentially useful that I want to collect today first." If the other Goblin accepted he could spend the entire day on collecting and researching plants and then hunt the next day in relative safety.

Luz

Luz couldn't help but notice brother Zectoll relaying up the other goblins to go on a hunt. It seems he had other plans, but Luz was too sad and confused to scold him for not following things through. "Don't let this stop all of your from fulfilling your tasks home is still safe but you can't control the world" Luz could help but look at him in disbelieve. "Pfff...Can you say that for sure?" Luz wondered out loud, unintentionally disrespecting the elder. Honestly, she didn't know who to blame for the last 5(?) deaths or rather there was something that could have been done to prevented them.

"Well, collecting that flower from the other day is the only thing I'm sure I need help with, so maybe afterward you can look for that adhesive if you still want. Just... you know to be careful."

"Pfff...i have no intendant of dying to such beast. Anything or anyone that wished to kill me may as well dig there graves in advance." Luz said with ambition.

Special Event!!
We are not alone...

@rbwls8028@Eklispe@Acid Hippie@caliban22

Blood so much blood....have to keep moving that was the only thing on the goblins mind. He traveled with 4 other goblins that were a part of his tribe. He was one of the young ones and he wasn't a fighter by any means but he felt safe where he was. He thought that nothing would force him into a situation like this but he was proven wrong in such a big way. The goblins had to run when there home was attacked and Shiba was told to take the book with him and get his brothers and sister to safety. Shiba didn't want to be a leader but he had no choice. He made sure everyone was running behind him making sure not to leave any of them behind after what they just witnessed they shouldn't be alone.

Each one was their as they watched their family get killed by what could only be an army of the damned. Each of them were different in their own ways and they weren't completely hopeless as they kept moving each of them reaching the end of their ropes in terms of hunger and exhaustion but they weren't safe and they couldn't stop anywhere or they would be easy pickings for one of the more hungry predators that saw a bunch of tired goblins as a good meal.

@The 4 Winds@El Noche@Duthguy@demonspade64

It wasn't long until the goblins heard rustling out in the bushes in front of their home Grandpa being the patriarch and the one guarding their home he stood up and held his cane like a weapon as he stood in front of the cave he may not be strong but he will be damned if he would let any beast come here and attack the young ones while their was a breath inside him. "Back in the cave!" he told everyone in an uncharacteristic commanding voice letting the young ones know he wasn't playing around and that this could be a serious issue. Once they were inside he looked out to the bushes watching and waiting but soon enough he saw that it was five goblins all looking tired and injured and one carrying an unusually large book which looked as big as the goblins own chest.

Grandpa was the first to speak "Who are you and why are you here" he said ready to take them he may be old but he was sure he could use his stick to keep them out.

The goblin in front of him that stood a foot in front of his family said "Please my name is Shiba, these are my brothers and sister. Please help us...our home was attacked and we have nowhere to go" he said sadly and without the old man realizing it Shiba used his soothing skill. The old goblin then calmed down from his fighting stance and turned to his young ones before saying. "Seems we are not alone young ones. What do you say we do?" he said calmer and letting them decide he may be the patriarch but that was because he was older and wiser but he could see it from the goblins before him that they weren't lying and really did need a place to stay and recover. He would let the new generation choose whether or not to have more members in their family.

Shiba then panted a little before he then said "Let us join you and I promise we will work by your side, and... Shiba paused trying to say the words but he felt torn having to say it but he couldn't let his family die because he wanted to keep a book."I'll even give you my book...it teaches magic" he said knowing that magic was something that could make anyone's life easier especially theirs. One of his older brothers was a mage and he found the book himself he trusted it to Shiba for safe keeping.

Stegs

Before Zectol could answer Stegs' question, Grandpa ordered everyone to go into the cave. Despite not knowing why, the bright green Goblin listened and moved away from the entrance. It didn't take long before it became clear what that order was given as a group of five unknown and injured Goblins became visible.

Stegs hoped they didn't hope to cause trouble, cause as weakened as that group seemed, both sides were almost equal in number, and besides he felt that enough of their kind had died recently. It didn't take long before he relaxed a bit thanks to the leader of the other group asking if they could join, he was surprised though by the fact Grandpa placed the decision on the young ones.

Stegs felt like it might be a good idea as the tribe could use some more members, but he also realized that it might be a trick of some kind. While he was wondering the scarred Goblin made the offer even more appealing by not only offering that the group would work together with them, which was something Stegs expected of them if they did up joining anyway, but also mentioned something about a magic book. He had no intention of claiming something that useful for himself but he might still be able to learn some new medicine from it.

"I think we should give them a change. Sure they could be planning something, but we need new members to make up, not replace, those we lost. And honestly while I won't claim it for myself I'm curious about that book.

Lomen

In front of him stood a goddess. Lomen was not able to comprehend it any other way as he gazed upon her, a goddess who presented herself to him. He was honored that a goddess would come to him after burying his fallen brother. In his mind he did what should be done in order to do his family justice, nothing special. As she offered her hand outwards, Lomen then noticed that it looked smooth and radiant. He offered his hand out but did was not close enough to touch her hand. "Build me a shrine". Her voice calmed Lomen and gave a sense of security as he watched the small thread go to his hand. A rush of information came to him and as it scrambled his brain, questions rushed to him. Before he could utter anything, she disappeared leaving Lomen back in the reality he had been born into.

After a few moments he heard Zectol, Stegs, and Luz talking nearby and was about to respond when Grandpa Goblin told them to get back to the cave. With that heard, Lomen stood with them as they gathered a bit further into the cave and looked around to make sure everyone was alright. After establishing that everyone was still alive, Lomen watched the exchange with interest.

Where as the new goblins still matched the remaining members of the cave, Lomen felt that they were more scarred than anything. From the looks of them they seemed to have been through a harsh time and needed at least a place to stay that they would not be eaten y the creatures of the night. Although the decision being given to him and his brethren was a fairly new surprise.

"I think we should give them a change. Sure they could be planning something, but we need new members to make up, not replace, those we lost. And honestly while I won't claim it for myself I'm curious about that book.

"I agree, from the looks of it they have nowhere to go and are roughed up to say the least. And I am also curious about that book. Although I would want it to be a shared item among all of those who live here. I am going to go say hi. If you want come with me and say hi.

That in mind Lomen walked forward, brushing his hands that still had some dirt on it from burying his brother earlier. Standing up as normal Lomen went out to them and offered his hand.

"Hello. My name is Lomen. I would like to say that I am for bringing you all into the clan. Also is that some of us would be interested in what is contained inside the book. But for the moment I am honored to meet you all. What are your names?"

Lomen offered his hand out to shake. He wasn't sure why, but he felt like they may be able to open up if they had some mutual trust with him. That and he felt that if at least one was willing to give a good handshake than it would set his mind a bit at ease.

Kalista's black orbs roamed the the ground in front of them, occasionally scanning behind, waiting for the horrors they'd escaped to suddenly appear and finish them off. She didn't know how long they'd been running but they hadn't gone far enough for her to feel safe. She didn't know what they'd do now. They were young and weak, all alone running through places they'd never been. They needed somewhere safe to rest and recover and it seemed they were in luck. They had stumbled upon a cave of over goblins, one of whom immediately introduced itself. "I am... Kalista." She said slowly, not taking the offered hand, though whether out of choice or simply not seeing was uncertain, as it was very hard to tell where she was looking.

Dashing through brush and following the footsteps of his kinsmen, Tsku kept his pace quick but slow enough to remain behind the others. They had been running for so long now that time had seemed to melt away, lose meaning, as their very lives were on the line. As it was, every second already felt like an eternity. But Tsku slowed his pace so that even if their attackers should catch up to them, he would stand and fight, hold them back for as long as he could so that his tribe could escape and survive.

Nothing did attack, but they were still out in the open, defenseless and without shelter, food, or medicine. It would only be a matter of time until they were found again. It was beginning to seem like they were only delaying the inevitable, yet Tsku was not one to ever put forth less effort than he could. He would go on with full strength for the opportunity to survive, even if the chances were he'd die by the end of the day.

And they continued with good reason. Soon there was an opening in the dense brush and a cave came into view. Tsku knew other goblins might live around these lands somewhere, and potentially be dangerous, but he could not be more content to see fellow goblin faces right now.

Tsku watched the goblin Lomen introduce himself, being the last to appear. As Kalista introduced herself but did not take Lomen's hand, Tsku acknowledged the offer of trust and decided to step forward beside Kalista and take Lomen's hand himself.

"Thank you for fast and kind welcome." Tsku shook Lomen's hand firmly, not wishing to offend him at all.

"I am Tsku of the Mountain. We are exhausted from battle, forgive our condition. We would be happy to share book with you after treating wounds and taking moment to rest."

Luz

Luz has hesitated to follow the elder's order, then she thought that the elder must have some kind of trick under his sleeve for what was coming so she follow his orders, she ran back inside and rally up whatever brother and sister weren't already out for War if need. Thankfully it wasn't needed as it turns out that threat in question was the only goblins who weakened and/or injury by some unknown party.

"Seems we are not alone young ones. What do you say we do?"

That question made her think, can theses four or five poses a threat to their clan in such a state. Probably not but it would hurt to keep to keep a good on them. Plus letting them join would add more members to the table along with...a book that teaches magic? "Wait for a that teaches magic? can that even work?" She couldn't help but ask, though she doesn't really know why she doubts him but she felt there was some hidden reason for her doubt. Nevertheless, most of the group wanted them in...so she decided to play devil advocate. "Fine, I suppose i can just kill them if they try anything, funny" She said bluntly and easily like she was talking about the weather.

She then offered her hand out to each of them. "I'm Luz." She casually told them with a calm sweet smile, this was shortly after her last comment about killing them. Luz would respect those who were brave enough to shake her hand and would respect them even more if they could do it out hesitation or signs of fear.

Zectoll

Day 5:Foreign Blood

Zectoll's solemn reflection was disturbed by the sudden arrival of several goblin-like forms at the mouth of the cave. He quickly rose, standing behind Grandpa, Horn in hand ready to defend the cave along side his brethren. Though it seemed these beings were not here to invade the cave, but were fleeing from something. Their plea to seek refuge in the cave seemed to have been met with favor with the other goblins. If the others were fine with letting these new comers in, then he would not offer any resistance. After all, these beings were Goblins, like himself, though the goblin with the dark purplish skin made him wonder. Kishi would certainly have wanted to give them shelter, Zectoll thought.

While the others were intrigued with the "magic book" offered up by the one known as Shiba, Zectoll was more preoccupied with the sharp looking object in the possession of the grayish purple goblin. What manner of creature wields a horn such as this? Zectoll thought to himself. Even more importantly to him however, was the fact that there existed beings who hunt goblins to the point of entering into their homes and slaughtering them all. He had many questions for these new comers, but that could wait. He would leave the diplomacy and getting the newcomers settled in to Lomen, Stegs, and Luz.

I, Zectoll, accept their proposal as well. A great deal had transpired, and the day had barely even begun Zectoll felt himself being overwhelmed. In order to ease his mind, Zectoll slipped into his Predator Stance and began to stalk around just outside the cave. He found a tree, and climbed up it, hiding among st its branches and leaves he waited for the other goblins to begin their trek outside the cave, his eyes scanning the forest floor and horizon.

Idus Watched The new goblins with suspicion, he wasn't sure if he could trust them. Slowly his eyes moved from goblin to goblin, his hand clenched on the short bow he carried. Idus was exhausted and starving his limbs barely able to support his little body. At this point death doesn't sound so bad can't be much worse then what we went through so far... Idus thought with a sigh as he looked at a few of the new goblins. When one introduced herself at Luz Idus couldn't help but raise an eyebrow Interesting way of making friends.. he thought blandly as he looked at the bow in his hand. He had been holding it so hard that his knuckles were starting to ache. Not Like I can say I'm any better he thought as he flexed his hand.
Slowly he reached out his hand to the Goblin "I'm Idus" he said softly shaking her hand Better to be friendly? he thought confused At the very least its better then having unneeded tension
