Well. The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell had even a bit more new information. The light of the orange dissipated as the final blow against him was made. Fyodor clutched onto the card he drew last for a few seconds before returning back into the deck compartment of his duel disk.
There was no time for dawdling now. Konstantinovich had a more important mission to go on now. Wandering away, The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell knew that he had a case to solve. For only he would have the necessary skills of monologuing, fist-fighting and intimidation skills, knowledge of the shady hangouts - well maybe not in Japan - and he knew he worked alone. And since no one died from the brick throw, it needed to be returned to him.
It was time for Fyodor to accept the case 'Discovery of the Damned Brick.' With that in mind The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell thought back to the initial explanation he was given. The brick was supposedly picked by someone else. The road he threw it on wasn't urbanized. It was a rural spot, nothing but farms.
Chances were that it was someone on the bus who nabbed his brick. There was a whole pool of suspects and places it could've went. He needed to find a dossier about the bus records.
Fyodor strode off in search for the bus garage while in the back of his mind thinking about if this had any decent cigarettes.
"Hey... You gonna go? You do realize these turns are on a timer, right?" The boy pointed to a small timer to Umi's right. Thirty seconds remaining. "If you don't go, I'm just gonna end up going again... You are a student here, right? This is the very basics." __________
"Sounds good, but this feels a little exposed~; How about a change in VENUE?"
The child stomped, hard... And the ground flickered away into nothing. Both duelists plummeted into the abyss.
When the shock of falling had passed, Elly would discover she had come to rest at the well-cushioned bottom of a pitfall, roughly eight feet wide and ten feet deep. The child she had been hunting stood at the other side, their duel disk at ready. It was the same scroll design as the boy's, but this one was colored a bright, vibrant red.
"She's up! We DID it partner! I really got one! I TOLD you we'd get... O-oh yeah, he left..."
The kid pressed a finger to their lips and looked a little lost for a moment, but recovered quickly.
"Well, I'll make sure to tell him a~ll about it later. Partner's really, REALLY strong! Stronger than me, even!"
Not waiting for an answer, the girl drew five cards.
"A~nyway, since you DID say I could go first~ I'll set two cards facedown, then end my turn."
My character is still waiting on @SillyPhilly's character
My character pointed out that rounds are on a timer
Somewhere at another end of the school, near the gates, was a larger white building with high windows. The strap-lift bifold doors suggested, without a doubt, that it must have been a garage. To it, there were two entrances; a wooden door on either end of the garage. Both of them were locked, of course, though a peak through tall window on the doors would indeed reveal that inside the garage were an array of buses just beyond the door several feet away from cabinets holding tools.
From behind Fyodor, there was a low, rolling noise, similar to a scateboard. However, a look back would reveal a modular robot with short, stocky limbs and a single eye on a stubby head which could rotate from around the body of the machine. It wore a gray suit and black tie over its metal body. A name tag pinned to the right side of the robot's suit read "Prof. Furiko"
"INTRUDER DETECTED." he droned. "PLEASE STATE YOUR EXCUSE, INTRUDER."
Excellent. The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell, and currently acting a sort of Demonic Detective had found the building which would probably hold the records alongside of course housing all the buses and other things Fyodor might wanted to snag. Now all Konstantinovich had to do was break in, find the information needed for the case and get out with any other potential goodies.
Well that was the original plan. The Ghoulish Rider Traveler of the Highway of Hell and current Demonic Detective turned around to see that he was not alone. For he had a steel security agent on his tail. Fyodor thought up several schemes to try. Outright fist fighting this annoyance would be tricky; so instead of that, for the moment, it was time for boldfaced manuevering.
"Hail Metal Comrade of Industry! You are not happy it seems. That is very bad. I must report you for not being happy." Konstantinovich walked towards Professor Furiko and shook his head. "Fret not! You'll be fixed either with new parts or you'll donate possible non corrupt scrap make new loyal and happy machine! Have dignity in last moments and open the garage."
Hearing Lua mention the word duel she got excited once again and foolishly called out "I challenge you to duel" in french complete with another of her poses but quickly realized she said that in the wrong language and ins translated it into Italian instead with another new pose "M-my bad sometimes I kinda long for my old home" Rumi giggled at her little mistakes "I meant to say, I challenge you to a duel!" Declared again but in Japanese less excitedly but still with a passion but quickly came up with a new idea "Wait... what about instead of dueling each other... You wanna duel with me instead as a partner, it might be interesting!" Rumi held out her hand to Lua and even Carnel completely forgetting he was eliminated "it might maybe slow this down a lot but I think it will be fun"
"Wow! That was really great!" the boy with the Pink Floyd shirt replied. "Oh right. Uh. Names! I'm Mike. Mike Botrel! It's really nice to meet you guys!" He dropped what was left of his guitar to awkwardly reach out his hands, gesturing a shake, before awkwardly and prematurely pulling back.
"Alright. Tekkan right? I guess I'm fighting you now. I don't think I saw you at the dorms, but I think we're both in the Odd-Eyes house! At least, judging that you can pendulum summon and all. But uh. Yeah..." Mike said, before power walking a distance away from the other two duelists. He smiled and raised his duel disk. "You ready? You can choose who goes first. I really don't mind."
"INCORRECT. YOUR NOTION IS UNACCEPTABLE..." the Professor answered, rolling backwards then around in a circle. "ENGAGING." he droned, rolling away from the Ghoulish Rider, a solid-light disk materializing out of what was supposedly Professor Furiko's eye.
Tekkan smiled as the kid with the now-busted guitar shook his hand and introduced himself. "Yep, that's me! Katsuragi Tekkan! Nice to meet you, Mike!" He was pleased to hear the news that he was also in the Odd-Eyes House and wondered what deck he played. "You're in the same house as me? Cool! Hopefully we can be friends."
The white-haired youth followed his opponent's lead and got into position, activating his own duel disk. "You can go first, since you're the one who wanted to duel me to begin with."
There was most probably an expression as The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell's shanghaiing failed on the robot, but that expression was solely between him and the Devil. Well, perhaps Fyodor should've straight up gone with fighting it at first sight. But alas hindsight was twenty twenty as the old saying went.
Fyodor Leo Konstantinovich activated the auto-shuffle function and activated his duel disk. The orange scythe was created from solid light. He gathered his hand as he dramatically pointed at the robot before going on a tirade.
"Проклятый ваш испорченной япошка железа!
Вы не следовали моим командам. Из-за этого предательства я буду лично отправлю тебя в трудовой лагерь. Ну после того, как я выиграть это дуэль конечно.
Однако ... возможно, я должен просто превратить вас в металлолом после моей победы!"
"I'm going first." spoke the Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell as he glanced at his hand, pondering the move he would make.
He placed a single monster down on the field face down in defense mode.
"The notion was very acceptable, you are simply a low class model that is full of glitches I'm sure. End turn."
"Thank you, Lua, but don't be so quick to underestimate your own Deck," Carnel said. "Who knows, you might beat me, instead. Of course, I have no intention of losing in any fair Duel."
"Unfortunately, Rumi, I must decline," Carnel said when Rumi made her offer to team up, holding up his hand. "I've already lost all my Life Points, so I cannot Duel anyone for the remainder of this event. Perhaps another time. I wish you both luck on your Duels, though.
When she first posed and declared her mission, he just looked at her blankly. He had to admit, this seemed to be the most excentric young lady he had met before. Her pose did give it a more humorous disposition, but as she did it to him once more, he looked around, as if to see if he was being recorded, assuming this was some sort of joke. When he saw no one she spoke again, this time in a language he could understand. he was very relieved that she wasn't speaking what was basically jibberish. Her words didn't hesitate to strong him as bold, and he widened his eyes and gasped, stepping back and clearly shocked. He quickly smiled, but nervous, ready to reply when she spoke again. He did not really understand what she was asking but either way it sounded fine. He put his left hand out, his predominant hand and formed it to look like a hand ready to shake. "That sounds fine, perfect even. I don't know if our decks will work together but I bet that we can make them"
Mike smirked. "Heheh. Well alright. If you say so." he answered, his 8000 lifepoints materializing in front of him, a hand of five cards dispensed by his duel disk. The boy took a minute to admire his hand, pondering his first play. After a hot minute, Mike finally made his first move- and didn't seem to stop.
"Alright! First, I'll set Symphonic Warrior Guitaar on my Pendulum Scale!" at his right side, a bright blue pillar flashed. Materializing from it, a yellow, double-necked guitar with arms and legs holding another guitar accompanied by the distorted wail of a power chord played by the Symphonic Warrior. Underneath it, the number 7 glowing in bright yellow.
"Next! I'll activate the field spell Symph Amplifire!" he announced. From underneath them, a stage had risen, and in the background, created with Solid Light behind Mike were two, large amplifier speakers. "Next, I'll activate the effect of Guitaar! I'll discard a card to special summon from my deck, Symphonic Warrior Drumss!" an anthropomorphic set of drums appeared on Mike's side of the field and the volume nob on the amplifier behind him clicked from 0 to 1.
"Next, I'll normal summon Sumphonic Warrior Synthess from my hand! Come on out!" an anthropomorphic synthesizer playing another synthesizer appeared to the right of the drumset accompanied by a black key descending glissando. "Now! Let's turn up! I activate Drumss's special ability! Once per turn, I can change a monster to any attribute I want! And I'll change Drumss to a fire attribute!" he announced, Drumss spontaneously combusting before their eyes. "I'll also activate the effect of Synthess! He's gonna copy the effect of- the card I sent to the graveyard- Symphonic Warrior Piaano! Next, I'll activate the power of Piaano through Synthess! With it, I'll change Symphonic Warrior Drumss to a Creator God! Synthesize!" he declared, Synthess playing a heavenly series of notes at Drumss, a halo appearing over it. The amplifier's volume nob clicked from 1 to 2 and then 2 to 3.
"Now... Level 2 tuner Symphonic Warrior Drumss," the drumset in a cacophony of drumming noises disappeared into two green circles, "and level 4 Symphonic Warrior Synthess! Synchro Summon!" The synthesizer rose into the air in between the two circles, disappearing into four bright orbs, a line appearing between them. "Spit fire upon this wretched Earth and show that rock and roll is not mere noise pollution! Rock on! Level 6 Symphonic Warrior Saxxes!"
A large saxophone appeared from the synthesizer carrying in each hand another smaller saxophone accompanied by what must have been a orchestra composed entirely of saxophones playing in the background for a good minute as it was summoned.
"Saxxes's special ability activates! I can add one Symph Amplifire from my deck- or graveyard- to my hand!" his duel disk dispensed the card for him.
Symphonic Warrior Saxxes stood triumphantly on the field in between the two massive amp, rivaling them in size. The card on Mike's duel disk even seemed to glow- and a feeling washed over Mike- a similar feeling as to what Tekkan was feeling, his "Igknight Noble Viscount" glowing from inside the extra deck, urging its duelist that it wanted to come out.
"Oh! That was weird. Strangest I've felt since I played the card." Mike shivered. "Anyways," he continued, "Drumss activates from my graveyard! I can banish him to use his effect again! This time, on Saxxes! Next, I'll activate the effect of Synthess! I can banish him from my graveyard to special summon one of my banished monsters- of which I have one- Drumss!"
The sound of drums and saxophone resonated with one another, a wire attached to each of the monsters, leading to the amplifiers behind them, bolstering their strength and volume.
"And with that, I end my turn!"

Materializing in front of the robot were five cards floating in mid-air projected from the same solid light which made up their duel disks and the monsters. Silently, the professor waited for the Ghoulish Rider to finish his turn, and he did not have to wait long.
"OPPONENT HAS TAKEN HIS TURN. ANALYSIS. WEAK. PROCESSING COURSE OF ACTION... DRAW!" the professor droned, another card materializing to accompany the other five in his hand.
"USING DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-EIGHT AND DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-FIVE, I SET THE PENDULUM SCALE." he announced, the cards dropping from his "hand" onto either end of the duel disk as two bright blue pillars of light flashed behind him, a robot appearing in either pillar, suspended in the middle.
"WITH SCALE ONE DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-EIGHT AND SCALE TEN DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-FIVE, I CAN PENDULUM SUMMON ANY MONSTER FROM MY HAND AND PENDULUM MONSTERS IN MY EXTRA DECK BETWEEN THE LEVELS OF TWO AND NINE. SWING PENDULUM BETWEEN TIME AND SPACE. I PENDULUM SUMMON DESKBOTS ZERO-ZERO-SEVEN, ZERO-ZERO-SIX, AND ZERO-ZERO-TWO. NEXT, I WILL TRIBUTE DESKBOT ZERO-ZERO-SEVEN. SWING PENDULUM BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH. I TRIBUTE SUMMON THE ALMIGHTY PENDULUM MACHINE."
Without much effort, the professor had already summoned three machines.
"PENDULUM MACHINE, ATTACK HIS PATHETIC FACE-DOWN."
Pendulum Machine's guillotine swung back and forth as it hovered over the field toward Fyodor's monster. It rocked back once, bringing its guillotine back as well, before the thing swung forward toward's Fyodor's face-down monster.
1. Draws for turn. 2. Sets "Deskbot 008" and "Deskbot 005" in the Pendulum Zones. 3. Pendulum Summons "Deskbot 007", "Deskbot 006", and "Deskbot 002". 5. "Deskbot 002" activates. "Deskbot 004" is added from the deck to the hand. 4. Tributes "Deskbot 007" for "Pendulum Machine". 5. Attacks face-down monster with "Pendulum Machine" (1750 ATK)
The Ghoulish Rider - Traveler of the Highway of Hell and currently mystery delayed Demonic Detective had some expression on his face as he witnessed the robot utilize Pendulum Zones and gather an army of automatons. "Маятник зона !? Вы только что сделали, что до сучка! Там нет такого понятия, как "Маятник зоны"! Fyodor shouted out as he shook his fist, "YOU ARE SO BUGGY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PENDULUM ZONE!"
The Pendulum Machine's guillotine swinging attack caused the face down monster to reveal itself as a Pyramid Turtle hiding in its shell. The attack went through and cracked open the pyramid and caused the turtle to shatter apart, with a mysterious fog.
"WITNESS THE POWER OF THE PYRAMID AS FROM THE DESTRUCTION OF PYRAMID TURTLE, I BRING OUT! YES! ANOTHER PYRAMID TURTLE SPECIAL SUMMONED IN DEFENSE MODE!" And so another Pyramid Turtle was brought into existence.
Elly was speechless for a short, fleeting moment. Once that moment ended, she couldn’t help but laugh derisively. “Ahahahaha! You must be retarded!” Elly drew her cards, looking them over with a fiery excitement. “A real shame I got stuck with a weakling like you. I can only imagine how much better that partner of yours is, but I guess I can’t blame him for not wanting to be around someone who thinks pitfall traps are worth shit!” Elly sets one monster and three face-downs. “Fight me!”
The walk to the school store was a bit more roundabout than Ayami would've liked, but on a day like today, that couldn't exactly be helped; with half a dozen duels clogging up the area, it was only to be expected that she'd have to weave her way through the crowd with Matt in a less-than-efficient manner. Honestly, it was pretty annoying, considering that she ended up having to walk around the long way just so she wouldn't get caught in any crossfire, but in the end nothing particularly bad had come flying her way, so she could only hope that Matt had similar luck moving alongside her.
The store was a bit more spacious than she had imagined it to be, especially with the variety of other stores packed into the area. It took the young woman a few moments of looking around to find her target, though, and she took the opportunity to motion to Matt to come check it out with her. Even from outside, she could see the displays lined up throughout the store, the cleanliness of which made her clap internally.
"...I wonder how the shopkeeper is..." she mused out loud before entering. Hopefully it wasn't as crowded in here as it was outside...
"Ehh~? That's pre~tty tough talk, considering you're stuck in one, you know?"
The child crossed their arms and began to pace around the perimeter of the pit.
"I'll have you know it takes a WHOOOLE LOT of effort to make a pitfall trap, you know. It's not just digging, either, no sir. You gotta find a place with ju~st the right soil composition for your depth and diameter. Even on good clay like this, you still gotta brace anything more than a foot wide if you wanna get anywhere. Not to mention, I was breaking my BACK getting those reeds to cushion your fall, and you can't even manage a 'thank you'? I mean, rea~lly, there's limits to being rude. I didn't HAVE to do that, you know."
The child looked at Elly and pouted angrily.
"KIDS these days. You know, I was gonna let you out when I'd won, but you had to GO there. You had to BADMOUTH me and partner's SUPER AWESOME trap. Now I think I'm gonna let you stick around in here 'till you learn to REALLY appre~ciate all the work me and partner put in, okay? I won't forgive you 'till you do. Now, DRAW!"
The duel disk ejected a card, whisper-quiet even in the enclosed space.
"First, I summon Yosenju Kama 3, in attack mode! Yosenju Kama 3's effect says that immediately after resolving, I can normal summon a second Yosenju monster from my hand. I summon Yosenju Tsujik, also in attack mode!"
A pair of miniature dust storms exploded into life in front of the child, and then it settled there now stood a pair of humanoid weasels, one carrying a medicine brush and dagger, the other holding a sword.
"Now, Yosenju Kama 3 attacks your facedown, followed by Tsujik making a DIRECT ATTACK on your Life Points! Let's show this ungrateful jerk who's BOSS!"
Both weasels leaped into action, hellbent on cleaving apart the facedown card and Elly, respectively.
My character drew during the draw phase
My character summoned Yosenju Kama 2, then summoned Yosenju Tsujik

Tekkan's mouth was wide open in disbelief as Mike played his deck much like the white-haired youth would play his own: Starting and never stopping until the combo pieces were put together like pieces of a puzzle.
"Th-That's...Absolutely insane...!" Tekkan exclaimed, still in shock.
When Symphonic Warrior Saxxes was summoned to the field, Tekkan felt a...strange feeling, something akin to yearning for something. Within his extra deck, he saw the silhouette of Igknight Noble Viscount glowing with a bright light.
"Huh...yeah, I felt that feeling too!" The youth called out to Mike as he ended his turn.
He drew his card and looked at his current hand. He felt a sharp pang in his brain, urging him to summon his headlining monster, which he was certainly capable of doing, and to great effect.
"First, I'll activate the Field Spell Card Ignition Phoenix!" A stream of flames burst from the ground, forming a bird shape in the sky. "Next, I'll place Igknight Margrave and Igknight Cavalier in my Pendulum Zones, then activate Cavalier's effect to destroy them both and add Igknight Veteran from my deck to my hand!"
The pink Igknight with a similar appearance to a ninja signaled to the red Igknight dual-wielding gunblades similar to riot guns. Seconds later, the two knights blasted each other to bits, sending them back to the Extra Deck and adding a bulky light blue Igknight holding a very large sword with a thin blade to Tekkan's hand.
"Next, I'll do much of the same, placing Gallant and Veteran in my Pendulum Zones, then destroying them with Gallant's effect to add Igknight Paladin to my hand!"
The process was repeated as prior, the bulky green Gallant signaling Veteran to destroy them both. They did as planned, adding a purple Igknight with a musket-like gunblade to Tekkan's hand.
"And now, I'll place Igknight Templar and Igknight Paladin in my Pendulum Zones and Pendulum Summon all the Igknights I just destroyed back onto the field!" The new orange knight with a sniper rifle-esque gunblade and the purple knight with a musket gave a sharp whistle, calling all the Igknights in Tekkan's Extra Deck back onto the field, taking battle stances and surrounded by a flaming aura which gave them 300 ATK and DEF points.
"But wait! There's more! By destroying Igknight Gallant, Igknight Veteran, and Igknight Margrave, I can Special Summon a stronger Igknight from my Extra Deck!" Gallant made a special hand signal to the other two aforementioned Igknights. Then, they leaped into the sky and slashed each other with their gunblades.
"Burning knight of jet black steel, give your foes the shotgun blues! Contact Fusion Summon! Igknight Noble Viscount!"
From the explosion that resulted when the three Igknights sacrificed themselves emerged a rather large knight with sleek black armor and dual-wielding gunblades that resembled shotguns. However, as Tekkan did this, he felt another sharp pang, stronger than the last one, as his headliner was summoned to the same field as his opponent's headliner.
"Rrrrgh...th-there's that feeling again...! A-Anyway! Next, I'll use Viscount's effect to destroy the Igknight Paladin in my Pendulum Zone to Special Summon Igknight Champion from my deck!"
The black knight carefully aimed one of his shotguns at the purple soldier, who gave a salute as he was blasted and replaced by a large bright yellow Igknight armed with what looked like a rocket launcher.
"For my next move, I'll use Champion's effect to return an Igknight monster I control to my hand to place a monster you control on the bottom of the deck! I'll return Cavalier to send Symphonic Warrior Saxxes back to your Extra Deck!"
The pink ninja knight faded away as she returned to Tekkan's hand; meanwhile, the yellow rocket launcher knight fired its weapon at the giant anthropomorphic saxophone, the blast returning it to the Extra Deck.
"And now, I'll attack you with my monsters! GO!"
Imbued with the fiery aura of Ignition Phoenix, Igknight Champion attacked Symphonic Warrior Drumss, and if everything went as planned, Viscount would attack Mike directly.
Elly rolls her eyes. "There's limits to my ability to humor stupidity, you know. Only an idiot would thank someone for trapping them, or think they could do some damage against me with a pathetic offensive like that!" Elly's face down flips up to reveal a box full of toys, which shatters under Yosenju Kama 3's blade. The box itself is destroyed, but the toys inside it scatter on the field, then start to glow. "Would you look at that. You hurt my Box of Friends." The toys shift into broken doll parts, large enough to be mannequin-like. "Look at what you've done to this poor doll. Why, if I were it, I would never forgive you~"
Elly smiles. "I guess you'll just have to finish her off before she haunts you to death!"
@manapool1"Might be difficult... Here I'll show you my deck maybe we can figure things out" Rumi said pulling out her deck taking out one card, in particular, putting it in her pocket "You know that the dolce part of Madolche means Sweet or dessert in Italian? You say it like this" Rumi excitedly talked about her deck even showing off her original speaking languages "I also heard Mado means magic in Japanese not sure but the deck sure feels magical to me" Rumi continued talking about her deck and showing off her key cards, in particular, being Puddingcess and Tiaramisu and her field spell and Madolche ticket "It's important to know your deck, Knowledge is power after all. Is what I would say but I would be lying if my friend didn't come up with that advice. it applies to cooking as well!" Rumi said also making a small reference to her hobby before further looking through her own deck trying to find more topics to talk about
