Same here man. Mid terms (already!), snow storms, life in general - it's all over so I'm writing a collab as we speak.

We're slowly chugging along in the Gdoc collab. Sorry for being an absent GM, I learned the behavior from my father.

Anyone that doesn't check in by tonight or tomorrow morning by 1200 hours will be thrown out the airlock and will have their characters get unlucky.

That being said, were all going to rally back at the motel building with Steve Foster to compare notes and rest for the night. After the Gdoc collab, we'll all have a chance to have our characters mingle a little more. I don't want this to turn into shoot-stab fest.

I'm still here. Tucson Masonic Lodge sounds foreboding (and less dangerous) enough to be an interesting lead for Dan.

Gonna have Atter head back to the motel and start working on finding Mr. Ahmed and maybe looking into the apartment manager a little. I'll have something up tonight.

I'm the worst offender here, life will not stop from distracting me. Every day I'm trying to get to a post, catch up on reading, etc - I have half a post written and some cool stuff in the works and I'm not letting go of this awesome storyline until you kick me out haha. I understand my tardiness and if I don't have a spot I completely understand but I'm still committed to jumping in and making a creepy, cool story.

@IonisusAs am I, on letting you jump in. I like your and @Roosan's characters, which is why I'm intent on keeping you guys on until I know for sure you're never coming back, i.e. "Hey I'm dropping" or just literally disappearing. I don't know where the rest of you live, but I know @Chrononaut works shitty shifts and @Roosan is in a completely different time-zone than my Stateside self. I know RL can be shitty, though, there's no misunderstanding there.

Just to clarify to everyone what the "minimum posting schedule of 5-7 days" means, it doesn't even mean an IC post every 5-7 days. Just let me and other players know that you're still here and at least working on a post every 5-7 days.

@AndreyichYour and Roosan's character should be with Big Dread's in the hood ride. The Suburban got into a wee accident and the Sonata is full after we picked up Dan.

There's not much else to do at the Gdoc, other than some EMTs and police coming around after the gunfight. They'll want a statement from Dan as to what happened for their report.

What about Sam and Tom and all the jazz with them? I failed the criminology roll but am waiting on Roosan in case he might get it. I thought we might get to the hospital with him or something.

@AndreyichIf you wanted to take that route, sure. It'll have to be in @Big Dread's hood ride or a squad car, though. Responding officers will obviously ask you and the other officer for details on what happened. The ride to the hospital- whether it's in the hood ride, a squad car or the ambulance, is uneventful. Sam will obviously be blindsided by the whole thing and an interrogation roll with a -5 penalty will get him to open up, but not much.

Turns out that these guys, which you will learn from Sam, are Mara Salvatrucha members. He knows from morning briefings that cartel activity has picked up since the New Year and drug-related kidnappings and killings have been happening a lot in Tucson and Phoenix. Nothing we don't know already.

Detective Albright will obviously be livid and looking for someone to blame or at least take her stress out on. She'll want to talk to Victor or Black about the whole affair and why the hell they needed to bust into a missing person's case. It's up to you what you say.

Oh man! Hanging out with the big busters would be awesome! And, then Black can talk with Det. Albright. Use that silver tongue of his to help out his team and have her purring like a kitten. ;)
