Maisha looked over at Kisari and smiled. "She's doing great so far, surprisingly." She thought the next task should be knowing when to spot danger and when it's best to fight or run. She turned to her daughter. "Alright, let's play chase." It might seem silly, but she knew it would come in handy once Malaika was older.
"Chase? But I thought we were training." Malaika looked up at her mother in question.
Maisha let out a slight chuckle. "We are, but you need to have a little fun in your life. You're still a cub after all." She advised her before she began running in a playful way.
Malaika thought about what her mother said and felt she was right. She needed to try being a cub so she let loose and chased after her.
Zaliwa realized the male that took her in wasn't coming back. "I knew I'd get left behind!" She decided to wander away from the Wastelands for a bit.
