Background: Stormfur grew up as good as any tribe kit could've hoped for. She had a loving mother and father, plentiful food on a well-populated island, and a kind and supportive mentor.
As she grew older she developed a talent not many others had, one passed down from her mother: swimming. She became a great hunter, bringing in more fish than most of her clanmates' fresh-kill. She progressed quickly, becoming a warrior during her 12th moon. Stormfur was given her new name, and with it the responsibilities of a warrior.

The tribes on the island had all heard tale of the Great Water beasts. Some even claimed to have seen them. To Stormfur however, they existed as no more than a myth told by queens to scare their kits. Her mother and father joined her in a hunting party the day of the attack. All she could remember was the beast moving through the water toward them, jaws opened wide. Somehow, after losing an ear and most of her tail, she struggled back to camp, before blacking out. When she awoke, she was told she was the lone survivor.

Many of her tribe-mates thought she would die after the attack. Yet, somehow, she survived. Since then, Stormfur's wounds have mended, but her memories remain. Now she strives to prove, to herself and her tribe, that a broken body is nothing to an indomitable warrior spirit. After all, its what her parents would want.



Personality:
Through great hardship, against great odds, Stormfur has developed a great perseverance in everything she does. She is the last to give in, the last chalk something up to impossibility, the last to retreat. Stormfur is selfless and loyal, to her tribe and to the Code. She would willingly give her own life to protect her tribe-members and beliefs.

Stormfur is of the type that believes rules were made to be followed. She lives exactly by the Code, as she thinks her parents would wish. Any cat that doesn't share her adamant respect for rules is likely to be her adversary.

Background: No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different tribe. This single line of the warrior's code had saved his life. If not for this he would likely not be alive. If not for this they would've left him for dead.
Both his parents were members of a prominent gang of the time, the RedClaws. Their names have long since been forgotten, their only legacy a failed coup that resulted in death. Dawnleaf -orphaned, forgotten- was left to fend for himself at only a few weeks old. He wandered the island in search of his parents, oblivious. By a lucky coincidence, he was found on AshTribe territory a few days later, and taken in. To this day, this is all he knows of his past.

Personality: Dawnleaf is a driven spirit. His sole commitment is to his duty, the protector of the tribe's lives. In his mind, fulfilling this duty means being as knowledgeable and skillful as possible, to avoid the unnecessary loss of lives. At every opportunity possible he seeks advise from the Stars, hopeful that his ancestors will guide him to be the best he can be.
Though his dedication has made him a better medicine cat and consultant, it has also made him quite weary of conflict. More than most, he understands the destruction caused by war. His unpopular view isn't shared by most of his tribe however. Despite the bloodthirsty nature of his tribe-mates, Dawnleaf does his best to silence any strife.

Background:
Wildpaw was an adventurous kit -much more so than most. Unlike his elder sister, Rosepaw, Wildkit -as he was then- dreamed of nothing more than running free through the trees. One day, upon managing to escape from their mother, Feathertail, Wildkit ventured out into the forest with Rosepaw following behind. He wandered, hoping to find some prey to bring back. In an unlucky turn of events, Wildkit found what he was looking for.

Before they reached the Mossy Rocks on the AshTribe border, Wildkit heard a nearby bush rustle. Ecstatic that he had found what he had come for, Wildkit charged straight into the underbrush. As he neared the source of sound, the rustling of underbrush changed form, becoming instead a loud hissing. A long, slender head with beady black eyes emerged. Mouth open wide, the fangs of the adder Wildkit had mistook for a mouse were as long as a cat's legs. Staring in the face of death, Wildkit stood his ground. He knew well enough that one didn't run from an adder and live to tell the tale. He would stand and protect his sister, even if it cost his life.

"Run!" he yelled, before the adder lashed out, catching his front leg with a fang. The pain caused Wildkit to collapse on the spot. He watched as the snake came closer, beginning to coil around him. As his vision faded, Wildkit saw a cat approaching, a huge, grey she-cat he recognized as Greycloud. The much larger cat easily drove off the adder as Wildkit slipped completely into unconsciousness.

When he awoke, Wildkit found himself in the Shaman's den, his sister still by his side. As he lay there recovering from his wounds, sense finally overcame his foolhardiness. From this altered perspective he gained two things: a profound respect for Greycloud, which keeps him in his place, and the drive to become a great warrior, so that if the day ever comes, he can repay the favor, to Rosepaw, to Greycloud, and to his tribe.

Personality:
Wildpaw is the epitome of the word 'energetic'. He is a natural-born explorer. He enjoys nothing more than wandering WaveTribe territory -something which has gotten him in trouble more than a few times. Such an adventurous nature is complemented by Wildpaw's bravery. He is unwary of the dangers involved in much of what he does or, more accurately, doesn't think before he acts. Though he is chided constantly by his elders, he very rarely takes heed of their word.

Though rather tormenting for his mentor, Greycloud, Wildpaw uses his traits positively. If needed, he would devote all his energy, all his courage to the protection of his tribemates. Given proper guidance, many believe he will become a great WaveTribe warrior.

Other: Wildpaw shows a particular knack for combat, rarely ever being bested by his fellow WaveTribe apprentices.

Background: Greycloud was found washed up on shore when she was barely apprentice age. Having little to no memory of who she was or where she came from. The salty water masking any possible indication of where she came from. She could be a enemy tribe member, a rogue, or a kittypet. Still, Wavetribe took her under their paw and she's trained with them. Silverfish acting as the mother in taking care of the young she-cat and helping Greycloud settle in Tribe life. Starting out, she was a lousy hunter, lousy at stealthy, and was overall, ungraceful. A little odd for a cat, but she was a large lumbering cat. Despite her setbacks, she was a excellent and powerful fighter. Perhaps the one good skill she was at least natural at. At times, watching others having families and what one would call, regular lives, irritates her but still she works to prove she can be a great warrior.

Personality:
Greycloud often times is a little bit difficult to get along with. She's moody, sharp tongued, and whatever it is she speaks her mind. Stubborn and hardheaded, she won't back down from a fight. Often acts a bit aloof with others and doesn't show much interest in socializing. Despite her cold stubborn behavior, she does have a good heart and will always do what she believes is right. Be it protecting a tribe-mate, or even saving any cat in danger. Unlike most of her tribe, she's a bit nervous around water and isn't the best swimmer.

Background:
Silverfish grew up pretty well like any tribecat. Born in the tribe with loving parents and loving tribe, she grew up to be a excellent huntress. Only kit within her litter, she didn't have much playmates, but she didn't mind that. Often being the lovely motherly she-cat the tribe adored. Natural hunter and swimmer, she's quite the experienced clan member. She fell in love with a cat named Reedfeather, a loving tom of the tribe but unfortunately he was killed in a skirmish with another tribe before his kits were born.

Personality:
A kind motherly cat, she has a lot of patience and is generally pretty friendly. She's always willing to lend a helping paw to her tribemates. Fighting isn't her strong suit and she prefers not to, but will join the fight if her tribe is in danger. Often will do what she can to take care of others, and was the one to take care of Greycloud when the young cat washed up on Wavetribe territory. She's pretty easy going and patient, enjoying watching the youngsters run about energetically, eager for glory while she's satisfied just serving her tribe to the best of her abilities.She enjoys hunting and fishing the most.

Outgoing, stubborn, and tends to be boastful. Stonekit is hardheaded and impulsive, often a bit brave and enjoys being a bit mischievous. Enjoys getting in all sorts of trouble and exploring all she can. She dreams of being the best warrior in her tribe and perhaps leader one day. Loyal to her tribe, she'll do all she can for it and the cats within it.

Streamkit takes after her mother of being a friendly easy going cat who just wants to do her best. She enjoys swimming and practicing to fish. Patient and kind, she enjoys socializing though is a little bit shy. Enjoys mostly following her sister around, despite thinking that some of her ideas not being a great idea. Still, she goes along with Stonekit's adventurous spirit, not wishing for her littermate to get into trouble.

Background:
Ringtail is one of the oldest among the tribe of the waves. Born in Wavetribe, his mother was a pretty shecat named Sandytail. She never revealed who his father was, nor ever spoke of him. He soon suspected that he was not part of the tribe, but he didn't press her for answers and simply took it upon himself to be a loyal Wavetribe cat. When he was a apprentice, his mother died after accidentally being washed away in the ocean as she attempted to save one of her kittens, Fishpaw. She drowned out into sea and into the depths among Deeptribe. He had three other littermates whom he grew up with, and lost them all. The first to perish was his brother Fishpaw, as their mother unsuccessfully rescued him. The second was his sister Rootclaw during a skirmish with Cloudtribe and died due her injuries getting infected. And his third sibling, his brother Shellheart, died during the battle against Cloudtribe in a call to assist Blazetribe.

It was then that Ringtail finally decided to retire to the Elders Den after Cloudtribe was finally defeated. Too old, too tired, and too hurt to continue on his warrior duties. His warrior life was pretty nice all things considered. He was loyal, a great experienced fighter and was quite good at hunting birds, using his long tail to climb up trees to keep balance and shoot up them like a mouse running for dear life. But all Warriors must eventually set their claws down and allow the next generation to have some glory.

Now he is content to his life in the Elders Den, telling the stories of old and sharing tales with whomever wishes to hear them.

Personality:
Ringtail is generally a sweet old cat, he can be a bit cranky at times and snaps at others as they annoy him, but usually he enjoys chatting with others. Although he probably wouldn't admit it, he enjoys the company of the others as he gets a bit lonely at times. Tends to talk a lot and enjoys rambling on and on with his stories. He can get a little bit forgetful at times, and at times cats have to repeat what they say, his hearing slowly going out as well. Being blind in his right eye, he usually jumps and gets a little hostile if someone comes up on that side without him knowing. Usually he's pretty easygoing, though he is much a stickler for the rules of the code. He isn't afraid to tell anyone off if he thinks they deserve a good talking to, even the tribe chief.

Background/Origins/Motivations:
Shadestep has lived as comfortable of a life as a Tribe cat is able - her mother and father were both present and loved her dearly, her mentors were patient but stern, and she has fought bravely and passionately to protect her Tribe from outsiders, be they other Tribes or something else. While she hasn't felt any deeply personal hardships, she has felt WaveTribe's hardships, from the small outbreak of greencough to the loss of life from the fall of CloudTribe. In her youth, she saw how quickly things can go wrong and how fast numbers can dwindle. While she didn't take part in many of the larger battles (she was placed on guard), she felt the losses. When cats that should have come home didn't, time and time again, she knew something was deeply wrong.

The one battle she did get involved with was the absolute worst she's ever had a paw in - the Hare Hills were practically soaked red with the blood of cats - WaveTribe, CloudTribe, and BlazeTribe all lost warriors. Though she was among the exceptionally lucky few that didn't get too badly injured, she'll never forget just how many of WaveTribe fought valiantly and died bravely that day. She was loyal to her Tribe before, but these past hardships have further solidified it.

Personality:
Potential Leader: Due to both size and general demenor, she has the powerful, authoritative air of a cat who could and would fiercely lead her cats to greatness, if she had the chance to. Despite this, she doesn't ever force herself into positions of power when it's not needed. She has no desire for power or to lead.

Calm Under Pressure: In a majority of dangerous situations, she's able to think quickly and, in her youth, she could act even quicker. She has the experience to know how situations are likely to go down, and she's usually able to get every cat back home safely. Usually.

Naturally Maternal: While she has no plans for kits, especially given that her prime has passed, she has a nurturing aura to her. She was nowhere near as motherly in her youth, however. She was far more feisty and spunky, and was always trying to prove her worth. Now that she's aged, she's calmed.

Relations: (will be added to as RP progresses)
Swiftsky: She deeply respects her leader and will rarely argue his decisions. He is kind, thoughtful, and considerate of every cat under him - as a leader should be.

Frostbite: Though she respects Swiftsky's choice of Koa, Frostbite is exceptionally young - he wasn't even an apprentice when the Darkest Days of CloudTribe struck. She has her doubts, and she isn't hesitant to verbalize them when necessary. Aside from this, she really doesn't have much to think about him.

Hawkpaw: While Shadestep would have been one to say Hawkpaw should become a Shaman's apprentice instead, the warrior quickly realized that Hawkpaw was capable despite her poor sight. It's admirable, and Shadestep's doing everything in her power to make sure Hawkpaw will become an exceptional warrior.

Rootfur: She has no ill feelings for Rootfur, especially given his past. She wasn't a lenient mentor, but she was a caring and sensible one. The tom could have easily hurt himself.

Background/Origins/Motivations:
Though he and other cats are unaware, he was born of WaveTribe queen, Troutslip, and a rogue tom. Because of his mother's vow of silence when it came to who the father was, Rootfur was raised as if he was any other Tribe cat. He was a particularly energetic and chatty kit, which was a blessing to some and an annoying curse to others. When he came of age, his mother insisted on being his mentor, promising on her life that she would mentor him well. Due to her insistence she will not be lenient, and she will mentor her son as if he was any other cat, her son became her apprentice that Green-leaf.

Not long after his apprenticeship, his mother took him close to Jagged Tooth to teach him how to fish. She explained that if he could fish there, he could fish anywhere else, and it was the way she was taught. Rootfur was of course frightened, having heard stories of "the Great White beast," but Troutslip insisted they were only simply stories passed down to scare kits.

"You have nothing to be afraid of when it comes to the water, Rootpaw. I promise you."

She led him to a place where land met sea, and she carefully demonstrated and talked through what she was doing. Horrifyingly, she slipped, a wave pulled her out into the ocean, and the last thing Rootfur heard of his mother was a terrified, agonized yowl as something yanked her under.

"MOM! MOM!"

Rootfur desperately tried to dive after her, but he felt teeth in the nape of his neck and he was fiercely yanked back, far from the water. He immediately went to attack, but he was countered and pinned by Ringtail. Rootfur tried to get him off, crying about how his mother needed help, that there was nothing good coming out of stalling, that the Great White Beast might've gotten her and they need to act fast, but Ringtail kept him still until Rootfur wore himself out. Only when Rootfur was panting from the exertion and could barely move did Ringtail allow him to shakily get up.

"I understand this will be difficult, but you diving in after her is a death sentence. You don't need to die too."

After that, the joyful, bouncy apprentice was no more. With Shadestep appointed as his new mentor, he focused solely on his training. If he dared let his thoughts stray, he thought of his mother, and if he thought of his mother, he found his paws trying to lead him back to Jagged Tooth. Shadestep was a patient, caring mentor and was almost like a foster mother more than a mentor to him at times, which genuinely worried some that he'll end up a soft Warrior.

They were wrong, however. He may not be the strongest, but he is one of the quickest warriors, able to catch rabbits and birds like it's nothing. On top of that, while he isn't a good fighter, he can easily sprint circles and even jump over some opponents, wearing them down and confusing them to get a blow in. He's clever, and that cleverness gave him back some confidence and pep.

As of now, he is mostly over Troutslip's death, but he has a strengthened fear of deep, dark waters. Even the Shallow Pool is anxiety inducing at times, so he instead hunts in the forest or at Hare Hills.. Hare Hills is especially fun to hunt in, in his opinion. Very few places to hide, a long stretch of mostly straight ground to really sprint in.. it's better than the fresh-kill itself!

Personality:
Kittish: While this aspect of his personality has dulled due to both his past and his training, he still gets playful and will gladly participate in the kits games if he has no other duties to attend to.

Impulsive: He tends to just say what's on his mind in the moment, even if it's unwanted, unnecessary, or completely offensive. He also tends to completely eject himself from a conversation if he spots a bird just past your face, immediately going for the hunt.

Emotionally Healing: While he claims he is "completely over his mother's death", he really isn't. You can never truly be completely over the loss of a loved one... Due to this, he's prone to having off days, especially around Green-leaf, given that's when his mother died.

Relations: (will be added to as RP progresses)
Shadestep: Though the friendly feelings for each other are mutual, there's another layer to Rootfur's feelings of her. Shadestep filled in the void that his mother left when she died, so he sees her as a mother figure. He would be hesitant to admit it now, though.

Ringtail: When the loss of his mother was especially hard in his youth, he sometimes went to Ringtail, not necessarily to force the elder to comfort him, but simply because his presence was calming to Rootfur.

Generic size: She's stuck between average and small.



Background: She became a medicine cat at a young age, having only been an apprentice for a few moons before her mentor died. She has no surviving family in the clan. Her mother died from green cough shortly after her birth and her father was killed by a fox. She was the only kit her parents had because her mother was a rather small queen. She, herself, is a medium sized cat; getting her size mainly from her father. She generally keeps to herself, but can be outgoing if she is feeling up to it.

Personality: Moonfur is very calm, delicate and collected. She rarely gets flustered and fights only when necessary. She takes great pride in take care of her clan. She is protective of her clan-mates and will go on the defensive if needed. She's rarely felt the need as of lately, but often will take great care in everyone she comes in contact with. She finds it difficult at times to compose herself when she feels she can help. Her heart reminds her that she took on the code for the purpose of protecting, and she cannot do that if she's dead.

Tiny and petite, will most likely grow up to be small in size. She isn't very strong physically but she makes up for it by being light and quick on her paws.



Background:
On the opposite end of the spectrum from her brother Wildpaw, Rosepaw was content to stay within the confines of the camp. There was enough there to keep her occupied and busy. Besides, she knew that soon she would become an apprentice and be able to leave the camp with permission. Rosepaw normally spent her days flitting around camp asking cats if she could help and staring up at them with pleading eyes. Most of them humored her, sending her on "missions" to fetch pebbles or sticks. It generally kept her busy. However, when she wasn't occupied with this, Rosepaw would follow her brother around. She didn't do it to annoy him or seem over-bearing, she just wanted to keep him safe like any big sister would. She did this so much it became a habit.

When Wildpaw decided he was going to go adventuring outside of the camp, Rosepaw's desire to keep him safe briefly over-ruled the Tribe's rules. It was just as well that she followed him, especially when he got scratched by the adder. Rosepaw had run as fast she her little legs could carry her back to camp, shrieking and yowling to any adult that would listen. For the first time in her life, Rosepaw was panicking. Greycloud heard her and raced out of the camp. Rosepaw was forced to wait, fretfully pacing until Wildpaw was carried back and taken into the Shaman's den.

Rosepaw had been so worried and felt so helpless that in the days of Wildpaw's recovery, Moonfur allowed her to help nurse her brother back to health. This then sparked the idea to become a Shaman, so she would have the knowledge and the power to help others. She didn't want to feel helpless ever again.

Personality:
Rosepaw emits a calm and reserved aura. She is quite adept at patience despite her age and while not nearly as energetic as her brother, she still contains a type of energy that bespeaks of determination and the will-power to succeed. She isn't one to quit early on and is patient enough to see it to the end. She enjoys caring for others and tends to put the well-being of others before her own. With a thirst for knowledge, Rosepaw seeks out the unknown and can become very excited at the prospect of something new. When given a task, she throws herself into it with fever. She becomes determined to give it her all and do the best that she is able. However, this could also count as a flow. Rosepaw's desire to complete the task perfectly could leave her unable to see how well she's already done and instead push herself to do better, maybe pushing herself too hard in the end.

Iceheart lived a rather normal life, that was, until he reached apprenticehood. The young tom, Icepaw, was told that he would become the next shaman's apprentice. This of course, went all against his plans of becoming a full-fledged warrior. He wanted to fight for his Clan, not spend the rest of his life inside some musty old hole sniffing leaves. Unfortunately for him, that was just the case. Icepaw worked hard as a shaman apprentice, but he decided to take up some training on how to protect himself. He wanted to fight back if he was attacked while healing tribemates in the midst of battle, or while he was out collecting herbs.

Things changed when Iceheart got his full name at 18 moons old. As he was being visited by SkyTribe, he learned that his fate had changed; he was not to live out the rest of his days as a shaman. Disappointment rung heavy in his heart. Becoming a shaman was what he was trained to do, and even though he was spiteful at first, he had begun to enjoy treating his tribemates and making sure all of them stayed healthy and fit.

He renounced his position, telling those the truth when he was questioned about his change of mind. After spending some time training under a mentor, he was able to defend his Clan as a full-fledged fighter. Iceheart is a young warrior, almost inexperienced, but he still learns to this day.

Personality:
Iceheart is blunt and to the point. He doesn't like to beat around the bush when doing things or telling someone what they need to hear. Cold-hearted, stoic, and almost irritable, there are many that do not approach him. Those who do, however, often enjoy his talkative attitude; he may be kind of dry and stubborn, but he is a great listener and will often give good advice and opinions. Just don't annoy him too much-- he'll claw your ears off. Deep inside, Iceheart is a sweet tom cat who wishes the best for his tribemates. He is mellow and calm, almost serious, but he truly does not mean any harm.

Background:
Flamestorm was often thrown under a rock and ignored, especially during kithood. His brothers, Scorchkit and Slatekit, received all of the attention from their mother, Dewtail. She despised Flamekit from the start, often screaming at him and telling him that he wasn't her kit. This, of course, heavily traumatized Flamekit, and he usually avoided his family and spent time with his friends. It was when he was an apprentice that Flamepaw discovered the truth about his mother's disdain towards him. She had been ambushed by a stray rogue and raped, and it turned out that he looked exactly like his "father".

He trained diligently, becoming cocky and thinking he was better than everyone else... which, in fact, he was. Flamepaw rose higher than any other apprentice, and became a warrior at the early age of 11 moons. He was named Flamestorm after his fiery spirit, and his rather aggressive attitude towards others.

Dewtail, Slatefang, and Scorchbelly still live within WaveTribe, but Flamestorm and them do not get along. His mother still thinks lowly of him, even though he has already done many things to impress his Tribe. She was always a cruel she-cat, and sometimes even gave her other sons the cold shoulder.

Slatefang and Scorchbelly are fresh warriors, but, like before, they do not get along with Flamestorm at all. They refuse to share tongues with him, but he couldn't care less. Slatefang is a loyal and reliable warrior, and Flamestorm sometimes calls him a "rear-licker" who thinks that he will one day rule over the Tribe as Slatesky. Scorchbelly is more like Flamestorm, and the two often get into scuffles before Slatefang is able to separate them.

Personality:
Cunning, ambitious, and borderline condescending. Flamestorm loves his she-cats and will do anything to impress them. He wields a sharp tongue and rather hostile attitude to those he dislikes. This young tom is as stubborn as a rock, and he will likely not listen to those older than him, save for the chief. Despite this, Flamestorm is extremely loyal, and will do anything for those he has feelings for and his Tribe itself.

Interestingly enough, Flamestorm has a soft spot for kits.

Background:
Nightpaw was once a she-cat with many brothers and sisters. However, tragedy struck one day, and an outbreak of greencough scoured WaveTribe. Several cats, many of them kits, perished in such a devastating blow to the Tribe. And unfortunately, Nightpaw was the only one in her litter who survived.

Her parents, Fernlight and Crowflight, were horrified that all of their kits, save for one, died. Instead of grieving for moons on end, they coddled Nightpaw. They shadowed her, seeing what she was up to and what she was doing at many points of the day. This led Nightpaw to become stubborn and frustrated, and she has become distant with her parents ever since then.

When Nightpaw became an apprentice, her parents laid off a little and gave her space. They still watch her from afar, and she knows that, while they might be overly protective at times, she knows that they are proud of her.

Fernlight is a sweet she-cat, as sweet as one could be. One wonders how the large Crowflight could have fallen in love with her; the tom is considered overly serious and emotionless, but it can be seen that he smiles whenever Fernlight and Nightpaw are around.

Personality:
Many might think that Nightpaw is sassy and spoiled, but this is due to the fact that she was spoiled a large amount when she was a kit. All in all, she is a strong, independent she-cat, and believes she has the mental fortitude of a full warrior. However, this is what she believes; she is still very green, and has never fought in battle. Once one gets past the sassy mouth and her sharp claws, they can tell that she is an overall friendly Tribe member who will stand by her friends and allies in battle.

Background:
Wolfmask has always had a tough life. His father, Thistlethroat, perished when he was just a kitten, having been claimed by the waves and thrown into the depths of DeepTribe. His mother, Tigershine, on the other hand, did not take well to his death, and promptly threw herself into the depths of the ocean in her desperation to reunite with her loved one. This left Wolfkit, along with his sisters Ivykit and Larkkit, and his brother, Darkkit, without parents.

Thankfully, his mother's sister, Snowsong, had produced a litter of her own. While the litter was small (only pertaining of a quiet tom named Icekit and a she-kit named Mosskit), there was enough milk for his littermates and their cousins. They played and ate and talked like actual brothers and sisters, all throughout their kithood.

It was when they finally reached apprenticehood that things changed. While they all became apprentices, Icepaw was signaled out by the shaman with interest-- he had become the shaman's apprentice, while the rest of them simply trained beneath warriors. While Wolfpaw was disappointed, this did not stop him from visiting Icepaw often, even if he had wished he could have become the shaman's apprentice instead.

Ivypaw, however, was not content with their lifestyle. Before they became warriors, she deemed that she received visions from SkyTribe, stating that their sister, Larkpaw, was "corrupt". He didn't pay heed to it, that was, until Larkpaw one day came to him, worried that Ivypaw had something against her. Darkpaw and him tried their best to protect Larkpaw, but to no avail-- Ivypaw poisoned her sister by stuffing deathberries in her freshkill.

Wolfpaw and Darkpaw would have nothing of it; Darkpaw and him tried to confront Ivypaw, who had left the Tribe and gone rogue. But when Wolfpaw saw that there was no saving Ivypaw from her own corruption, Wolfpaw decided to strike her down. Permanently.

The two brothers, now sister-less, decided to tell the truth. While their chief trusted their word, and thus let Wolfpaw go somewhat unpunished, many of his Tribemates see him as something akin to a kinslayer. This did not prevent Wolfpaw's choice in taking the opportunity to replace his cousin's, Iceheart's, place as shaman apprentice soon after he received his full name.

While Wolfmask became a full shaman after a few moons, he still watches out for both Darkwhisker, Iceheart, and Mossleap. While Darkwhisker is a timid and slightly clumsy cat and Mossleap is as feisty as their sister once was, he is very close to both Iceheart and Darkwhisker themselves.

Personality:
Surprisingly, Wolfmask can be considered a flirtatious tom cat. He trifles with both toms and she-cats, but this does not necessarily mean he is attracted to them-- he is a shaman, after all. He enjoys teasing and joking a large amount, and is rather robust and lively. Talkative, friendly, and a trusted ally, Wolfmask vehemently protects those he cares about; this, however, isn't always a good thing. Perhaps it is because of his past, but he can be a little too protective, and often gets involved in other cats' business. This makes him prone to light-hearted gossip, of course, which he gladly participates in as long as it doesn't harm anyone.

Some say that the previous shaman saw something underneath Wolfmask's upbeat personality, which earned him his name. Those who are extremely close to him know that he can be somewhat cold or blunt in his manner of thinking and being, and he fiercely addresses things as "good" or "bad"; in other words, he doesn't really see something as "neutral" or "gray". He will go to the extremes to do what he thinks is right. Thankfully, this usually doesn't happen, as he tries his best to remain light-hearted and happy in the face of adversity.

Background: Lionpelt was born and raised in WaveTribe. He's a great fighter, decent hunter, but he's not so good at stealth. He didn't become a warrior until a moon later than the other apprentices he started with because of his hunting skills, but he was able to improve his skills. He's a much better hunter now comparatively, especially after he became close to Eagleclaw. She taught him better hunting techniques and they grew closer. Eventually, after time and bonding they became mates and boom, had a kit.

Personality: Lionpelt is a noble cat, or at least he tries to be. He's calm and collected, always shoeing kindness to any cat. It's rare to see him angry, but when threatened, especially by an enemy tribe, he's not afraid to fight.

Background: Eagleclaw was found in WaveTribe territory, abandoned as a kit, only three moons old. There weren't any queens at the time so the warriors kept an eye on her. She became an apprentice and quickly learned the ways of a warrior. After a few moons of training, she noticed Lionpelt, or Lionpaw at the time, was struggling and fell behind his peers due to his lackluster hunting skills. Eaglepaw helped him, and they became good friends. Later on, after both earning their warrior names, they became mates and had Hawkpaw.

Personality: Eagleclaw is a very kind cat, usually thinking about others before she thinks about herself. She cares about every single cat and would to to the ends of the earth to keep her tribe safe. Of course many tribe members know she wasn't born into the tribe, but she tries not to let any comments bother her.

Background: Hawkpaw doesn't have much history about her. She was a kit and now she's an apprentice. She does, however, have very bad eyesight. Her parents suggested she talk to the Shaman about becoming the Shaman apprentice, but she insisted on training to be a warrior. She's currently in that training, trying her best to keep up with the other apprentices.

Personality: Hawkpaw is a friendly cat, always trying to help another cat in need. While she strives to improve her eyesight to get her warrior name, she always tries to be like her parents. It's rare that Hawkpaw used her eyesight as an excuse for poor performance.
