Again, this isn't something he can just Do. This is something he does when he has time, and the situation calls for it. I'm having him pull out all the stops because I set into motion the presence of a force on par with a space marine chapter. I felt it appropriate to cut them down to size myself. Once that's done, Urgrugg is no more powerful in any immediate circumstance than any chaos sorcerer is.

And, Actually... Tony Stark is fully capable of building and producing an army of Iron Men several hundred strong. He just doesn't.

More importantly, why is it everyone is waiting until Now to speak up about the scale of the game? When I had a cruiser-class imperial ship come into the system carrying an inquisitor and a preceptory of Sisters, no one said a thing. Is it just that no one here understands the implications that presents?

Yes scale can be changed, but how do you propose to make an idiot ogryn significant in a pitched battle between the sisters of battle and a horde of demons? granted he would likely be the most physically powerful character on the field, but he would still just be part of the NPC cannon fodder unless i basically pull some godmodding and have Ga'duk channel the emperor to be immune to psychic abilities or bolter fire, he may as well be a generic NPC to be dog piled by deamons or consumed in warpfire.

Who said the ogryn would take part in that fight? That fight's for me. I didn't intend for anyone else in the group to take part in that battle.

@Necroes ok, that wasnt the point. all that would be happening is that you would have your grudge match with the sisters of battle or whatever, and the rest of us would be just be doing things around your personal war. Making the scale that of grand battles rather than much more personable skirmishes, and i would have to go out of my way to avoid making your little war the center of the RP.

@Sophrus We're on opposite sides of a space hulk. It's really not terribly difficult to give room on something made up of multiple 40k scale space vessels. Once his battle is over, it's over, and the RP only need linger on it in my posts for a short time. What I'm going to be doing until I meet up with the rest of the group wouldn't have any direct effect on your character or any of the other characters anyway. That's why I was asking when Jb was going to post, so I'd know when the Imperials have landed and that battle can happen.

@Necroes but it does! you are upping the ante of any further imperial response. if you take down the entire SoB team it only follows that the response will be to send units who are capable of combating you on that level, and once we all meet up that makes it so we have to deal with a threat of that level and im not sure how the group would fair against a Grey Knight terminator kill team (or whatever).

That being said, @Jbcool has the final word on it. But i have made my grievances known and ill shut up about it.

After reading through this little 'debate', and much thinking, my final decision is this;

@Necroes, you are essentially running an RP within an RP (RPception), to the possible detriment of the other players and RP as a whole. While I myself don't have a problem with two daemons, and am happy for you to keep going with them, I will admit that an army of them is a no-no. You want a pack of them (a few Bloodletters and Horrors etc) then I'll allow it, but nothing constituting an army.

As @Sophrus rightly stated, just the presence of so many daemons - even for a brief time - would make the Imperial counter-response so lethal and so large that there'd be no point in us even continuing the RP...we'd all be dead after having our arses purged.

In short, keep it to an appropriate level I.E. Similar to the rest of the players, even the most powerful of us being no higher or more powerful than an Astartes.

That's my decision.

As for the rest of you, feel free to go deeper into the hulk, get attacked by slithery Tyranids or write a co-op post as BC is doing; for the record, there are no Eldar aboard the hulk, just mutants, cultists and Tyranids.

@Jbcool If that's your decision, I'll adhere to it. At the very least, I appreciate that you're making the decision from a meta perspective, and not just trying to say it couldn't be done.

Are there any restrictions on posting order? If not, I could post again. Resolve Urgrugg's business, and get him nearer the party, i.e. the other half of the space hulk. Might even come across a dread magi on the way.

@Necroes I was just going to say, I don't think there are any particular posting restrictions in terms of the order in which people post, so long as they're not interacting with one another of course.

Replied. It wasn't a great post, but this is really a bad situation for Fio'Ui. He is panicking to much to really pay attention to whatever the hell is going on with the group around him, provided that they aren't trying to point a gun his way.

@Sophrus I'm gonna want you to post some time soon, Soph. I believe we'd both do best to narrate our respective character's perspective of the fight, and I'll probably have Lucius find Ga'duk after the fact, if that's alright by you.
