Nyello Everyone! So I should mention that this is a pretty rough idea and it will definitely need some fleshing out, also I've been on a hiatus as of late so I am a bit rusty, thus I am going to need to appoint co GM's asap if this idea gets off the ground. However, this rp is more driven by the interactions between characters rather than an actual plot.
Another mundane, lonely day, come and gone as you watch with utter disgust as couples all around you are obnoxiously flaunting their relationships like it's some sort of fancy title.... Actually, no, you are just lonely and you wish you had a love life like that too... Of course, you would never admit that out loud, so naturally you overzealously will cringe and scowl at couple you that passes by, telling them to "get a fucking room".
Whether it was a bunch of bad relationships in the past, you cheated or they cheated, you sleep around, or you just haven't found "the one", or for whatever reason under the sun as to why; you are single, and you just want to find a person to love.
Suddenly one night, for no particular reason, you have a dream about someone you have never met; you can't even make out what they look like or understand what they might be saying, aside from them being a silhouette. You don't think much of it at first and go on with life as per usual. But you keep having that same dream, night after night, and each night you start wanting to know.... Just who is this person? What do they want? Why do you keep dreaming of them? And Slowly but surely, that stranger's appearance and voice becomes clearer and clearer until eventually..... "Hello...? Can you hear me...? Who are you?"
You finally hear it, their voice.
As time goes on, you continue to dream about this person and you get to know them more and more. Then suddenly you start feeling this strange, painful sensation growing and clenching tightly in your chest; longing and loneliness. Which begs the question... If you had the chance, would you like to meet this person in the real world?
"Next time.... Let's meet in the real world!!"
And that's about as far as I have gotten with the idea. What do you think?
Notes/Rules:
Each character must be approved by me or a fellow GM before bringing the character to the character tab
Each character will be assigned a partner by the GM's based on what we think would best suit each character as a whole.
This will be pg-13 rated so if the clothes start coming off ya best be fading things to black or taking it to the PM's where it belongs YA NASTIES
There will be no discrimination of any types and I expect everyone to respect each other's beliefs and morals, EVEN IF THEY DIFFER FROM YOUR OWN. THIS THREAD WILL THRIVE GREATLY ON DIVERSITY, HOWEVER IF YOU USE A GENDER OR SEXUALITY THAT IS NON BINARY PLEASE BE EXPECTED TO GIVE A DEFINITION SO THAT FOR THOSE FUCKING ME WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF GENDERS AND SEXUALITIES, TO GET SOME SORT OF IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO PORTRAY AND OTHERS DON'T ACCIDENTALLY TRIGGER YOU. (YES THAT INCLUDES THE CHARACTERS PREFERRED PRONOUNS. I KNOW THIS ISN'T FUCKING TUMBLR BUT I STILL DON'T WANT TO UNINTENTIONALLY PISS SOMEONE OFF)
SWEARING IS FUCKING ALLOWED
You WILL be expected to have at least basic grammar and at least one paragraph so no one liners
You will be required to use real pictures (no anime or cartoons please, but gifs are OK)
I will provide a base for CS' and the relationship sheet and I would prefer that be used
You can start out with your character already being in a relationship with someone else but realize that the relationship with that person will eventually fall through and you will eventually have to end up with the partner assigned to you.
The plot of the thread will be taking place in the waking world and in the dream world. The plot will also be centered around your character and whoever they interact with, therefore what each person does will determine how the story goes, making it a very loose and lenient plot.
I want to try to balance out the sexualities and genders so everyone will have a partner SO BE FLEXIBLE IF YOU ARE TOLD BY THE GMS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE TO EITHER CHANGE THE SEXUALITY OR GENDER OF YOUR CHARACTER TO FIT THE NEEDS OF THE THREAD AND DEMAND. I ASSURE YOU IT IS NOTHING PERSONAL
