The girl was too tired at the moment to care about anything the exhaustion was overwhelming. She put her head down and hoped she could at least get some rest before it came to another battle.

"We've seen you fighting. What's going on?" Nilori speaks this time, towards the man in front of her. The twins walk slowly towards him, Nilori in a defensive position behind her shield, sword point at the man's heart, Cirilyn still with her crossbow pointed at the girl. They would need answers before they would attack, though the would respond to a fight should one start.

The girl finally finished resting and grabbed her glaive and held it in a defensive position.

Their mouths opened and to the man it sounded as though a hundred nails scratching atop a blackboard. A brief cry of pain left his lips as he shut both eyes in pain and His hands went to his ears in an effort to drown out the noise. This put the light in his chest on display, showing that it was trembling and cascading through its color field. Though it lasted only as long as the women spoke; calming the light in his chest and allowing him to open his eyes again.

The look on his face was one of terror and confusion, showing that not even he understood what had happened. In his mind it was the woman staring at him and readying into a battle stance. Just another enemy!

The mans hands fell from his ears as the light in his chest dawned a dark orange; a glow shared by his eyes. As his arms dropped the man slid his right foot along the dirt so that it was behind him. With his arms at his side and bent at the elbow towards the women the light in the mans chest sprang into action. Two thick tendrils of light tore through the mans veins and to his palms in an instant, leaving a visible light trail in their wake. With a quick shove at the air the man transferred the energy through his palms, creating a visible heat disturbance in the air that would stretch out five feet infront of him. Before the air would ignite in flames, creating a cascading sea of flames that tore towards Nilori.

Each time one of the twins spoke, the man flinched, as if in pain. Odd, though a suitable explanation for the man's agression. If even a short sentence was equivalent to an attack, well, life must be hell for him. It was a shame, but he would have to die. The alternative was a short and painful life for him, which would also put those around him at risk should he attack them.

In response to his attack, Nilori and Cirilyn retreated towards the girl. Nilori remained in her defensive position, using her shield to block against any particularly far-reaching flames. Once the attack was finished, they spun 180 degrees, and Cirilyn fired her crossbow, being already cocked from earlier, aiming at the man's chest. Now it was Nilori's turn to face the girl, who now appeared prepared to fight.

The girl sprung into action running towards the two/three people, she managed to bring a shield down in between the combatants using her magic, in an attempt to stop the fighting, just now realizing that the man was only in pain. She remembered her childhood and the frustration of not being able to talk, her cloak shimmered almost to a blinding amount this was expected though considering it reacted to emotions and those emotions were quite powerful

The man watched the actions of the women as though they were played in slow motion. The sight of their conjoined bodies struck him somewhere deep for a moment. Such a physical state could be seen as a handicap and yet they moved perfectly. This delay allowed the bolt to close the majority of the distance before the man had reacted to it.

The mans gaze shifted quickly to the bolt, superheating the air all around and infront of the bolt. This ignited the feathers of the bolt and super heated the tip, but it was not enough to burn it entirely. With a quiet thud and squish the bolt sank home, burying itself just an inch beyond the head in his right pectoral. The impact forced his upper body to lurch backwards slightly, but this was the only affect. The hit didn't appear to register with him.

What could be seen as a reaction was the man quickly positioning his hands infront of his chest. Placing them together, but holding them horizontally. Upon his body the tendrils stood strong, starting to create a stream of steam from the surface of the surrounding skin as their light briefly intensified. Respectively a bright white light would shine between the mans hand before the light expanded with a burst of hest and air. Creating a white hot orc of energy whose heat was refined and condensed to mimic and double the cutting power of razor sharp steel.

This attack was not as slow as the last, tearing through the distance in mere seconds. The exact target was unknown, all three were at risk to be hit by the flame blade. Upon its creation the light in the mans arms began to fade, allowing it to cool as he awaited the results.

Seeing the attack coming at the twins, Cirilyn said "Left!" to her sister, a command which they had by now decided was a quick signal to dodge an attack, to the left of the sister it is said to. Cirilyn therefore dodged to her right, and Nilori her left, attempting to avoid the attack. However, the girl's cloak had partially blinded Nilori, and her dodge was slow, ultimately allowing the man's attack to burn her sister's side. She whispered a quick apology to her sister, and told her they should focus on the man, as he had shown himself to be a bigger threat. Cirilyn agreed, and the pair moved forwards, Cirilyn slashing, before spinning, so Nilori did the same.

The girl put her hand over where her mouth should have been in terror seeing what she had just done. She dissed herself for letting her emotions run wild. She put her hands on her glaive and focused on pushing painful memories back

The girl remembered what her mentor had told her about her cloak "Don't get lost in your emotions your cloak will burn them off immediately and turn you into a soulless husk, but most of all don't become to devoid of emotions or else much worse can happen." She pushed it back but leaving some emotion for her cloak to feed on. She had sometimes been tempted to let her emotions free to stop the stress it put on her to keep them in check but she never had heeding her mentor's warning.

The mans body held a majestic stillness as he awaited the outcome. With little time needed to find their ground once again the women charged him. The mans brow furrowed lightly as his toes dug into the ground as he thrust against it. Throwing himself into a sprint towards the women as the liget upon his chest shifted color tones once more. Changing from their light red to a light brown as the bright tendrils faded from his hands back to his chest.

The tendrils had barely reached the light source in his chest before it created something else. A bright, almost circular burst of light brown energy streaked through the mans veins as his right foot came down towards the ground. As his foot met the earth the skin would shine brightly for a moment before the light passed into earth. In response the earth let out a brief quake and a rumble as the man continued his sprint. On the very next step yet another light tore through his body and towards his left foot, entering the earth with yet another rumble. The plan had been set in motion; the man would simply appear to charge brazenly at the attacking women with energy firing off into the ground. It was not until the three were all in striking distance to one another that the man initiated his plan.

With expert step planning the man was primed to land on the ball of his right foot just moments before he could be struck fatally. Just before his foot would touch the earth it suddenly cracked in a nearly perfect circle; the man bowing his leg lightly as his weight was transferred to it. A brief double rumble in the earth preceeded the circle of stone lurching into the air, thrusting with immense force against the mans foot as he extended his leg muscles and twisted his hips and body. Throwing himself up and over the attacking women. Though as he flipped he eyed a rivulet of blood flying from the edge of Niloris. It couldn't be felt yet, but Nilori blade had nicked the skin of the mans right arm as he rotated.

Even if it could be felt the man would do his best to ignore it, as his plan was not yet done. For that stone pillar was not the only thing created as he threw himself into the air. Behind the women another stone around the size of a stag was created, however it would have been thrown from around 5 feet behind them to meet the man as he flipped over the women. Allowing him to channel the momentum of his twisting body into a solid kick that would slam against the flying stone and send it down towards the heads of the women. Regardless of outcome the man was set to land only a few feet away, having lost all his momentum.

Once again Cirilyn was in the line of fire of an attack her sister couldn't see. The rock was moving towards the women with startling speed, how strong was this man? With no time to warn her sister, she threw herself backwards, knocking them both over, but allowing the rock to sail overhead. The pair rolled, leaving Nilori on top, before hurriedly getting to their feet. Clearly they were out of their depth here, but who else was fit to fight this man if not them? So, once again, they closed the distance between them and him. Nilori attempted to strike the man in the head with her shield, while Cirilyn was cocking her crossbow, so then they would spin and allow Cirilyn to fire point-blank into the man's head.

@JaceBeleren@OoshKoosh
The man landed with unprecedented grace; his knees bending in perfect time with his landing so as to cradle his weight and allow him to crouch towards the ground. Without even a whisper. The emptiness of his eyes fell upon no specific target, but rather an empty space between them. Splitting his attention so as to watch and listen to all the women. This allowed him to be ready as Nilori and Cirilyn dashed in once more; though his muscles did little to show a readiness.

Nilori and Cirliyn were upon him in moments and from the corner of his eye the man could see a shield careening towards him. The muscles of his right arm from shoulder to finger tips could be seen tensing up in one moment before it moved into action. Niloria shield would have been just inches from solid impact when the man's clenched fist made contact, sending a brief squishy clang and a shower of tiny blood droplets into the air as he punched the edge of her shield to block it. Tearing the flesh of his knuckles to do so.

They did not stop there though, the other sister shifted their combined weight to spin them around. Still the man did not move; awaiting the outcome of the technique before him.

Crossbow. The man's left hand answered in time, moving with a blur in front of his head. The thick twang of the crossbows string vibrated the air and released the bolt. Yet another squish sounded off; the bolt had pierced his hand, but it's trajectory had slowed enough that his forehead completely halted its movement and bled only a thin stream.

The man's hand had begun to close the instant the twang sounded out, leaving a tunnel of fingers for the bolt to fly through. The piercing point was the space of flesh between his thumb and pointer finger. The flesh gave way easily, there is little muscle there to slow it. It was the closing hand that helped to slow the bolt, for as it pierced the man's hand it felt the weight and grip of his closing fingers. It was in this moment that the lit beams of energy shifted their color from light brown to light red. Making the color change happen in unison with the bolts contact with his forehead.

Only now did the mans gaze shift, locking directlt onto the women. In only a moment the blood which had been dribbling from around the shaft of the bolt suddenly thickened and then dried. The shaft of the bolt began to blacken before his entire hand exploded to life with flames. A snap sounded from his left hand as he clenched it shut tighter and shattered the now burnt wood before throwing the fist out In front of him. Surely he would strike only air, but in truth that's what he wanted. The punch was just the sight and trigger for the pillar of flames that surged forth from his fist. It would expand to three times the size of the man's fist, approximately as large around as a basketball and was aimed directly at Nilori and Cirliyn, who could still be dangerously close.

The other woman was not as immediate a threat as the other two. If she did not attack him, she would not be attacked in the momwnt.

Cirilyn had always been the faster of the two, so she had little trouble moving the pair of backwards from the punch. She went to punish the attack with an upwards slice at the man's wrist, in an attempt to cut off his hand. Only as the maneuver was almost complete did her eyes widen as she spotted the feint. It was too late to pull back now though, she had put full force into the swing. The column of fire caught her at full force, square in the chest. The pair (with Nilori extremely worried as to what was actually going on) were launched away from the attack, and hit the floor painfully. Their armor had saved from the worst of both the burns and the impact, but the hot metal where Cirilyn had been struck was more than a small problem. She hurried to get the plate off, exposing the much weaker padding underneath but at least temporarily saving her life. She left it in a hissing mess on the floor. That impact had shaken the pair, literally and figuratively, but they held their ground. Nilori, being the one better protected, faced the man, while Cirilyn took the opportunity to reload her crossbow.

While the women worked on discarding their now heated armor, the man had allowed his knees to buckle entirely so that he was kneeling in the dirt. Pushing himself too far would prove fatal and so the man took this opportunity to engage a cooling process; beginning with the kneeling position he now held. Both his arms fell to lay upon the knees on their respective side, with the soft skin of his forearms turned upwards to the sky.

The color of the energy tendrils across his body seemed to vanish entirely, turning opaque in color. The man began to take a long and slow breath in through his nose, creating a visible ballooning affect through his veins starting at his throat and heading towards his forearms. Upon reaching them the pores of skin opened up on a microscopic level, forcing the heated air out and creating a visible heat distortion around both arms.
