Welp, this new tank will maybe see some use in comp if shes not super squishy with her 400 hp. Tri tank still looks like it'll be a thing since Ana wasn't nerfed at all. Rip Comp unless you find the super stale meta fun.

Decent character though. Lots of cute art will come out. The surprising bit was the R34 art though, that came out 5 minutes after the movie apparently.

I'm working on a CS for a Talon member now. Hopefully I can pull her off well in the way I want, and end up with a badass African Mountain Pulverisor and not some Reggae Hippie with a weird She-monger vibe.

Despite her 400 HP, Orisa's actually very good at locking points down, I've found. And her team-wide damage buff is pretty amazing. Even so, she does require either an Ana or a Mercy to be able to keep her up once her shield falls and she's unable to put another one down immediately. Fortify really helps reduce damage, though with the added bonus of being unmoveable. Was Tracer one game against Orisa and the minute she put her fortify up, it was like hitting her with tiny water pellets. I did little to no damage - it's something that, if you're at critical health you pop to allow your healer to get you up again.

She feels really good and it's really nice to know, with her running onto live soon, that we won't see Reinhardts in every single game anymore. It's unfortunate that there's no healer as good as Ana right now, though I've been seeing a lot of Mercys, I'm still seeing 90% of comps run Lucio/Ana and the occasional Zen/Ana on defense or when there's a Pharah that needs shutting down.

Also, I'm gonna get a Jesse post up soon! Hopefully sometime tomorrow:) I suppose that's mostly for @Jacobite lol.

@December Sweet! We can always use more recruits. RN it's literally about a 2-1 ratio Overwatch to Talon, soooooo... There's that. Also concept sounds neat, I'll look forward to seeing how that goes!

@Solo Good to hear. Honestly, I was a little surprised that the "not what you're expecting" char actually wasn't Doomfist. Kinda seemed like a Blizzard thing to do. Still, looks interesting, and she should shake up the meta just a little bit. I'm looking forward to her official introduction to the game.


Also, on a more general note, would it be a good idea to make more chars? I've considered picking up Zen if no one else has dibs, and probably another char for Overwatch just so I'm working both sides. That being said,we already have thirty chars and more people are joining. Thoughts?

..Real last thing. Do we have general rules of engagement?

He's talking about PC vs PC fighting. Like if his character were to fight one of the Overwatch members controlled by one of us, how does that work and how would both write it out, so that it's fair for everyone involved?

Like, as an example: Lucas vs Sampson or Sombra vs Junkrat kind of scenarios.

Also when in the GM going to post btw? I want to at least have my Raptors on the move... or someone to interact with them (Im repeating, I'm sorry but still)

I think the general consensus for Talon so far has been that we don't have reaper or widow posting, so we kinda lack direction as to orders and whatnot. I was actually about to propose a few ideas in the IC chat, assuming everyone kinda just goes along with the "moving to the dining room" thing.

And @Solo was right on the money. Because we DID write out combat abilities and all that, and part of me is eager to stretch my legs, metaphorically speaking.

I have another talon agent inbound to help even things up if need be.

Also, Orisa will fall to below my level as everyone does when I play Hanzo XP

Yeah, I would like that too. My general assumption was that the winner was predetermined by the Muns or GM's before the fight began.

That's true in your guys case. Not sure if ProReaper is still with us (my condolences for the rudeness from several days ago), but hopefully he should get something up with the help of the others. I was going to post, but I've decided to wait a little, as most of OW has only posted once. Now I could think of something up tomorrow though so there's that. For the Raptors, if anything, I could have them come in... even though it'll look a little weird, but I prefer they stay in the training facility until further orders.

In other news... Wait a minute @Ajax Amari. It seems as if your profile wasn't migrated to the CS by the GM yet, yet alone reviewed (unless you and the GM PMed about him). Now Im not a GM or CO-GM (but been one) and while I see no visible flaws in the profile, its mostly a tradition to have your character accepted first before posting. Traditionally it will get reviewed and after the GM makes the OK, you can put it in the CS. Here however, it seems that Vicier will be the one that posts profiles into the CS.

This is just as a heads up though, unless you talked with the GM or CO-GM. If you talked to them there already but Vicier didn't put your character in the CS yet, that's fine.

(Sorry for sounding like Im in charge, I just wanted to clear some things up).

Look mate, there is not going to be any fights for now, we need to introduce all the characters, and Yes, that includes Reaper, who is in the process of being organised.

However, as it stands, I am busy, and at least until monday my time and don't have the energy to do much, although I am catching up on posts now, I will be putting together combat rules and engagemnts for Vicier to go over, sometime in the next two days or so, however with life at the moment, its not on the top of my list.

I need to do a few real life things first, and then I can do this stuff. Please, be patient.
