Born in a village at the edge of Lugnica, Etrius was an adventurous lad, one who chafed at the fact that the presence of Mabeasts 'trapped' him inside his hamlet's boundaries, and who swore that one day, he would hunt down every Mabeast in the world, and so be free. However, knowing that Mabeasts have cursed bites and are generally dangerous close-up, Etrius knew that ranged combat was his best chance. And so he trained in the use of the bow and arrow, not just in how to use it, but also how to make and maintain his weapons and ammunition. And when he was old enough, he began venturing into the forests, hunting down first the small Mabeasts, then the larger ones, and almost always managing to get away safely.

In the one time he was lost trying to get away from Mabeasts, Etrius found his Falcon, Peco Peco, whom he managed to tame, allowing him to go back to his village. Of course, one day, Etrius would find the urge to go to Lugnica City, in order to search for a way to get more money to buy Mabeast-killing weapons with...
