Guns do not count as martial weapons. But if you rolled high on the money roll and gave those two up, I'd count that as an extra 50g. <.< Might be able to afford a pistol. Could add in the hexslinger fighter option. Wouldn't kick in until level 3, but you wouldn't have to worry about powder anymore. >.>

But yeah, I can help, too. 5e is at least SUPER easy to learn. It's not like 3.5/Pathfinder. -shudder-

@Big Dread @Landaus Five-One Side note, @Ermine did some random rolls for my PC, and one of the things was that I had a childhood friendship with one of the PCs. If any of you wish to volunteer to be the other side of that friendship, let me know.

I'd be happy to do random rolls for anybody else, too~

Suppose I could roll the other five trinkets now...I'd rather wait until the character questions are answered, though.

(Honestly, if someone wanted me to make their character, even though it would be a disservice to them and make it harder to learn all the things, I'd do it so we could play)

@ErmineI don't know how you feel about this as an option, but we could theoretically start with the people we have, then have those who haven't finished meet up with us at the next inn. I believe @Mesonyx is nearly done with her bard, and @Big Dread probably can roll up a sheet in a few minutes from what I've seen. That would leave out Landaus and those who haven't really replied for a while. Personally, I like starting together, but it's an option if a bunch of us are chompin at the bit.

@Ermine Okidokie! Nah, I don't want the hexslinger stuff. Going for a simple folk who uses the gun to even the odds against them fancy noble bastards. As for trading in my equipment... I am going to have a crossbow and a long bow. I don't need those either! Can I get money for those too?

@JBRam2002 I was already considering that. But considering the people who don't have their stuff yet are newer people (excluding an obvious person), I'd rather wait. Of course...having example play prior to them having their sheets could be helpful, too, I guess?

@Big Dread 51g + 18g (average of 10g (two handaxes) and 26g (light crossbow and 20 bolts)) = 69g(iggity)

Remember you need a pistol, powder, and bullets. Otherwise, you just have a super expensive hammer.

Well, an expensive hammer is still good! Also, i will have proficiency with Tinker tools so I would be able to get my own stuff going as well.

It is so rare for me to witness a topic become a whirlwind of activity. I am pleasantly surprised to see it and that things, thus far, are working out. While I do think we could begin, I think it is important that @Landaus Five-One see himself on the journey with some aid from any of us, before we consider that. @Mesonyx being nearly done makes that a more wise choice as it were too.

I am actually not quite sure. We have 6-8 players already. I had planned on 4. Not that it changes much if there's one more person...(but I'd prefer to not have any more people until we're sure at least one of the other two isn't coming back).

Yay, now all I have to do is work on the character sheet. At lest I got done with the important questionnaire for this D&D Adventure.

Nice all I got left to do is the Portrait & Deity than I am done with the character sheet.
