• Knowledgeable. Leo is ravenously hungry for power, however this isn't in a sinister manner. He desires to be able to protect himself and those he cares for, able to write any wrong and save any life. While Leo is far, far from that goal, he is still quite learned, as he is constantly searching for any information to give him an edge, no matter how unlikely the need for it. As a result, he has a great amount of knowledge according to the natural and supernatural worlds.
• Defensive magic. Leo's entire family are masters of defensive magic, and he learned a good amount of his hexes from them.

• Skeptical. Leo finds it hard to truly bond with someone to a point of worthwhile trust, and once he finds that trust, he is easily influenced by that person. His paternal nature can set him apart from others, as he feels he must sacrifice his feelings for their good.
• Empathetic. While he can be a little standoffish, he feels others' pain deeply. Threatening those he cares about can make him irrational.
• Warlock. Leo is still learning to be a full-fledged Witch. He is learning magic, and while he has an impressive grasp on it, he is still only 24; his family is a band of caretakers, and as such, they don't typically learn offensive magic.
• Children. Any mention of a child and Leo will do anything to protect them. Threaten them, and he'll turn over his life if needed. He tries to keep this a secret, though, as it is perhaps his greatest weakness.

Leo grew up within a small coven of his family. The entire Kwon family tree runs reserves for the free rest of hunter Supernaturals. They defend anyone who comes to their doors for sanctuary, halting any attacker that pursues the hunted creature, and forces them to come to a diplomatic solution. If the creature is deemed guilty of their crimes and the intended retribution, they turn over the creature to the hunters. If not, then they offer safe haven to the creature for as long as is needed. They are far from the traditional coven, however their practice stretches back through centuries. They go against the traditional grain of kill or be killed.
Leo grew up in a small coven in the wilds of Canada, mastering ice magics and defensive hexes. His sister was far more adept at magic than he, and as such, he was spurred on to develop faster. For the most part, he lived an uneventful life, occasionally rescuing creatures. Every time that one was turned over to the hunters, his heart broke. He abided by the rules for most of his life until he was 19. When a Weredingo came to their doors seeking sanctuary, they took her in and healed her wounds. She couldn't have been more than fourteen. She explained that a pack of Werewolves had been hunting her from the arctic circle after an accidental trespassing into the territory of the pack had set them after her. During her escape, she vaguely eluded to an accident that resulted in the death of one of the wolves. The pack had been outraged and pursued her off of their land and across the land to the Kwon's doorstep.
When the pack arrived, Leo's mother went out to meet with them under the light of the sun. Leo and his sister tended to the Weredingo for two days while deliberations ensued. The pack was ravenous, however the ancient hexes and runes inscribed upon the Kwon's home prevented them from entering.
It was deemed that the Weredingo was guilty of the death of a beta in the pack, and she was turned over to the wolves. Leo attempted to convine them otherwise, and as words turned to spells, he attempted to save her. Unfortunately, he was nothing compared to an entire pack of wolves. They overtook and slayed the Weredingo, leaving Leo devastated. The wolves then turned on the Kwon's, however they protected Leo, reachign another deliberation with the pack.
Eventually, the decision that Leo would leave the Kwon coven and head south so as to not tarnish the reputation of the Kwon's and to enact revenge for his actions. Leo accepted his punishment and set out south. He wasn't banished from seeing his family, however he is no longer allowed into Canada.
Leo searched for a new home, unknowingly finding a place in Klamath Falls due to the beacon. He met Callie, and she revealed herself to be a Witch. The two bonded and he became a part of her Coven. He has remained there ever since.

Hexes and Runes: Leo learned from an ancient line of Witches how to inscribe runes upon surfaces to later be activated to release a spell, or how to inscribe a rune onto a person to create a hex. He specializes in defensive and immobilizing runes.

Spell Casting: The power to change and control events through the use of incantation and more.

Elemental Casting: Leo can summon the power of the elements, frost in particular, to do his bidding. Primarily a combat ability.
