Throwing knives are short, with a thick, heavy grip made of a series of leather discs set one above the other, and a brass crosspiece between the hilt and the blade. Throwing knives, as the name implies, are meant and balanced for throwing. It is thin at the hilt, widens considerably down its length, then narrows quickly to a sharp point. A throwing knife is carried in a double scabbard. These balanced knives have brass pommels and a expanding, then tapering blade.

Cardlin sports dual Dirks on his belt. The dirk is a fighting knife, with a blade about an inch and a half wide, and very long, about 12 or 13 inches and used for close-combat fights.


Cardlin is normally described as a kind and caring individual. He tends to put others needs before his own and won't hesitate to help someone if he feels they are in need of assistance. Cardlin has a stubborn streak and will not budge if he sets his mind to something. He's not one to anger easily but once he is watch out because he can have quite the temper and is not afraid to give you a piece of his mind. Another trait of Cardlin's is that he has a bad habit of bottling up his problems so the people around him will not worry. Even if he is having the worst day imaginable he will still put on a smile and say everything is fine.


What he lacks for in physical strength, he makes up for it in agility and flexibility. Cardlin is quite nimble and quick on his feet. People are taken aback sometimes at just how nimble he is, especially after they see him climbing with ease and back and front flipping over things. The modern word for this is Parkour/Free-Running. He is also able to run far distances without becoming short of breath.


Cardlin has a slender frame, bordering on petite. As such, he can not match the other Viking men in contested strength. Challenged to an arm-wrestling match? He'll be beaten so easy it's child's play. There's also the fact that since he is so short, he can be picked up easily.

Gilthunder


Leiptr: Said to have been birthed from one of Thor's lightning bolt as it struck the earth, the Leiptr has the ability over lightning and thunder. It channels lightning along the spikes all over it's body before the lightning gathers in its mouth and it fires off a blast. It also has the ability to send a deafening blast of sound that will stun its target.

Strengths: If a lightning storm is present, the Leiptr's lightning blast will pack more of a punch as it channels lightning from itself as well as the storm raging around it.

Weaknesses: Water. The Leiptr is alright if it is simply raining however, if its body is completely submerged into water, its lightning will barely spark after it leaves the water and the lightning won't return until an hour later or longer, depending on how long the dragon was submerged for. For its thunder blast, range and mass will determine how long the target is stunned for. If the target is small and close in proximity, they will be stunned for up to an hour. However, if the target is large and far away, they may only be stunned for a few minutes.
