I'm hoping for maybe 3-4 dedicated RPers who are planning to post maybe once a day or two who've at least seen the movies. I definitely wanna push plot, maybe lore, and development~! Romance wouldn't the main focus of this RP, but I'm not totally against it (I'm absolute Hiccstrid trash). OC's would definitely be welcome, along with canon characters! I'm gonna RP Hiccup and an OC. You would also have to RP your own dragon, if your character would have/had one. Create your own breed of dragon, if you wanna, but nothing too OP!!!!

I'm not too judgy on grammar, but please write on at least a 9th grader's level. I, personally, will have a lot of small spelling errors 'cause I'm dyslexic and can't catch it all the time. I can't even write my name correctly most of the time, lol! You also wouldn't have to write six thousand paragraphs per post, honestly one or two is good. It's hard for me to read lots of writing at once (again, dyslexic), but I wouldn't complain if you wrote an eight paragraph post every once in awhile. I'm thinking of maybe a mature rp, for violence, language, gore, ect. So no kids, please? I'm pretty new to this site so IDK what's the population here. The last site I was one was basically all prepubescent dweebs...

The basic outline of the plot is that Hiccup is now chief, but there's a new danger rising. Dragons are going missing and so are vikings. Some creature has been attacking at night, laying waste to the village of Berk just like the dragons had done less than a decade prior. Hiccup decides to get a small team together of those dragon riders who are willing to search, locate, and hunt down whatever gruesome monster is killing Berk's inhabitants.

Rules

1. Post character forum in OOC, then if it's accepted in Characters
2. Swearing is fine, just star out F bomb please, like so F***
3. Have decent grammar. Small spelling mistakes and such are fine, but if you write like this, "She caught the ball and wind blew." Get off my thread xD
4. Gore, dark themes, and mature themes are aloud. But please take anything squishy (sexy) off thread.
5. Don't fight with other RPers on thread. Take it somewhere else.
6. No crazy overpowered god like dragons. They can't control time and space, they can't be immortal, and remember, all dragons have weaknesses!
7. Your character does not need to have a dragon
8. Toothless is the only Night Fury, 'cause he's supposedly the last of his kind
9. You can RP OC's or canon characters. Please make a forum of a cannon character, just incase someone doesn't know who that character is. Maybe you're RPing someone from the shows, like Heather. Not everyone watches the shows...sadly xD I highly recommend Race to the Edge~
10. LGBT+ safe space
11. Please post at least once every two days. If you're gonna be away, lemme know. If you wanna quit, also let me know. Don't just leave. I won't judge you if you wanna quit, but if you leave and don't tell me, then I will be doing all the judging...

Personality: Hiccup is a the stereotypical kind, but doofy, leader. He's smart, protective, and caring, but he has no idea how to keep himself safe. He couldn't anything, he even has a hard time getting himself to squish a bug! He is just as good communicating to dragons as he is with people. When there's a problem, he knows just the thing to fix it.
Strengths: He is a great leader and can create battle plans out of nothing.
Weaknesses: He is not the best fighter and hates hurting people and dragons. He also is missing a leg, so if he doesn't have his peg, he's grounded.

It's so bad

Weapon(s): Bodil carries a Gronckle Iron longsword and spear. She also wears a short sword at her waist.
Personality: Bodil is known as one of the biggest jerks who live on Berk. She's always looking to start something. She, even more so than the usual viking, loves to fight. She swears like a sailor and just is generally very rude. However, Bodil likes to be the hero and protect others, even though at the same time should would like to beat the living daylights out of her peers. She very rarely shows the emotions of fear, sadness, and kindness. She likes to separate herself from others and isn't attached to anyone or anything but her dragon.
Strengths: She is one of the best fighters and hunters on the island.
Weaknesses: She is way too headstrong and goes looking for fights. This often puts her in a bad situation very easily. She also doesn't get along with others very well and isn't a great teammate.

Throwing knives are short, with a thick, heavy grip made of a series of leather discs set one above the other, and a brass crosspiece between the hilt and the blade. Throwing knives, as the name implies, are meant and balanced for throwing. It is thin at the hilt, widens considerably down its length, then narrows quickly to a sharp point. A throwing knife is carried in a double scabbard. These balanced knives have brass pommels and a expanding, then tapering blade.

Cardlin sports dual Dirks on his belt. The dirk is a fighting knife, with a blade about an inch and a half wide, and very long, about 12 or 13 inches and used for close-combat fights.


Cardlin is normally described as a kind and caring individual. He tends to put others needs before his own and won't hesitate to help someone if he feels they are in need of assistance. Cardlin has a stubborn streak and will not budge if he sets his mind to something. He's not one to anger easily but once he is watch out because he can have quite the temper and is not afraid to give you a piece of his mind. Another trait of Cardlin's is that he has a bad habit of bottling up his problems so the people around him will not worry. Even if he is having the worst day imaginable he will still put on a smile and say everything is fine.


What he lacks for in physical strength, he makes up for it in agility and flexibility. Cardlin is quite nimble and quick on his feet. People are taken aback sometimes at just how nimble he is, especially after they see him climbing with ease and back and front flipping over things. The modern word for this is Parkour/Free-Running. He is also able to run far distances without becoming short of breath.


Cardlin has a slender frame, bordering on petite. As such, he can not match the other Viking men in contested strength. Challenged to an arm-wrestling match? He'll be beaten so easy it's child's play. There's also the fact that since he is so short, he can be picked up easily.

Leiptr: Said to have been birthed from one of Thor's lightning bolt as it struck the earth, the Leiptr has the ability over lightning and thunder. It channels lightning along the spikes all over it's body before the lightning gathers in its mouth and it fires off a blast. It also has the ability to send a deafening blast of sound that will stun its target.

Strengths: If a lightning storm is present, the Leiptr's lightning blast will pack more of a punch as it channels lightning from itself as well as the storm raging around it.

Weaknesses: Water. The Leiptr is alright if it is simply raining however, if its body is completely submerged into water, its lightning will barely spark after it leaves the water and the lightning won't return until an hour later or longer, depending on how long the dragon was submerged for. For its thunder blast, range and mass will determine how long the target is stunned for. If the target is small and close in proximity, they will be stunned for up to an hour. However, if the target is large and far away, they may only be stunned for a few minutes.
