Mal and Wren: Mal felt the need to protect Wren after he found her caught in a trap. She was in fox form and telepathically drew him to her. Plus a little naughtiness since then. The two do have a semi- (maybe fully-) romantic attachment to each other. (I'd put more, but my rolls for this came up as exactly what's on our sheets).

Stacey and Jazo (J'zargo): Parents were companions on adventures. She thinks of him as a "good ol' boy" (that's really what it says) who likes to drink, celebrate too much, and not take life seriously. He thinks of her as a bumbling buddy (that's really hat it says again), who kind of has terrible luck but just keeps on going.
