The eyes of the young adult, now fully dressed, creaked the door open. His shoulders shuddered from the cold wind that followed. "The sun gets darker every day." He muttered. "So what should we do now?" He turned to the vampiress, having closed the door behind him.

Arelia pulls her cloak over her shoulders, "Well, I suppose it'd be smart to collect the reward money for the mine job, now wouldn't it?"
"After that, I believe that I should be able to return to my home in the mountains. You are free to journey along with me, if you wish, but I warn you, it can be quite taxing." She comments, brushing off dust from her gown.

The druid nodded his cloaked head toward her in agreement. "I suppose it might benefit me if I go along, the idea of a difficult path doesn't bother me either." He stated as he once again opened the door of the barn. "Shall we then, Miss Arelia?"

Arelia tosses her hood over her face and begins to walk, "You need to lead the way to the person to get the money and I lead the way to my home." She says, walking out into the cold snow.

Without another word he walked through the snow and back to the tavern, expecting her to follow. The moment they entered the same bartender perked up and approached the two. William handed a flier labeled "Goblins in dungeons, help below" To Miss Reina, who in return handed him a sum of gold coins in a burlac bag. The exchange was swift and without vocal communications, as both were far too familiar with the arrangement. Having obtained their reward, William handed the bag to Arelia and began to walk back to the snow. "We can split profits later, lead the way."

Cerberus howls and pounces through the snow. "Awooooooo!" Arelia mimics with a laugh, "Lead the way, my furry friend!"
Remembering she has company, she clears her throat and composes herself, "Cer can always find his way home." She grins
Cerberus yips a reply and points the way.

William gave a bit of a smile at both her and her companion. "Well we shouldn't keep him waiting." He said as he walked alongside Arelia with the sleeves of his robes connected by his intertwining hands, as to keep warm. The druid kept his eyes on the sun that was blocked by thick clouds. Snow had begun to fall once more, but this storm was light and gentle.

Arelia lets the snow fall on her, instead of blocking it like she normally does.
She smiles at Cerberus, "Don't stray too far ahead!" She calls to him.
He barks in reply and hangs back.
While walking she looks into her satchel and digs through it.
With a sharp intake of breath she pulls out a rather empty bottle and uncorks it, then drains it's contents in a quick gulp. She returns the cork to the bottle and puts it away.
Arelia draws her cloak closer around her, muttering a profanity under her breath.

William noticed her draw some liquid from a flask. He said nothing, but was a bit concerned when she vaguely heard a mutter. "Everything ok?" He inquired as snow flakes fluttered on his robes.

"I will be fine." She insists, "I'm just running low on my... supply.." She hesitates, taking a look at the last full bottle she has.
"I may be able to sustain myself on animals, but I need... others at least once a week, or I begin to go.... ravenous." She mutters, tugging at her hair nervously.
Cerberus trots over to her and licks her free hand.

William didn't say a word to his vampire friend after her comment, he had to make note to help her get some animals in fear she may turn into a monster herself. He however, trusted her enough not to let that idea betray his service nor did he think any less of her for it. His work boots had by now dug deep in the snow as they now exited the town's wooden barrier

Arelia huffs a sigh and trudges through the snow. Cerberus was now walking behind her, as she created a bit of a trench as she walks, due to the girth of her dress.

"So what kind of tricks do you have up your sleeve?" The druid asked as he pulled out his staff to help him traverse the cold snow. He had more trouble bearing with the cold then the vampiress and her dog as it seemed.

She smirks, "I can control air, mostly," She explains, "I have control over the other elements.."
She turns the snow into a ball of water, kicks a small amount of dirt in the air, causing it to float, then sets it on fire with the tiniest spark.
She drops it all and sucks in some air.
"Goodness I'm out of practice...... Fire is... difficult for me to use... even with such a small spark such as that..."
She removes her hood and allows the snow to hit her face
"Air is my element, which is one of the reasons why I prefer high mountains.."

William nodded. "Impressive sorcery, I imagine it must have been difficult to obtain that wide variety of skill." He in contrast, pulled his hood further over his face to bear with the cold weather. "So how far is this place?"

She points to the tallest mountain in the distance, "Right there. Overlooks many beautiful things. We'll be passing through a forest, then reach the edge of the mountain. It might look impossible to climb, but it isn't... if you have the right guide that is." She smiles, petting her mutt.
