Ma'ai resumed tending to his meal when Anuriel granted him permission to stay, although he wasn't so blind as to miss the lingering tension between the two demons. Damien's offer was generous indeed but not something he'd allow himself to indulge in. While both races were supposed to be on friendlier -if not neutral- terms, Ma'ai couldn't bring himself to surround himself with the enemy on a constant basis. Especially during one of his most vulnerable moments. "Thank you but I do believe I've already been assigned a sleeping quarter." Upon specific request and persistent pleading, Ma'ai had been given bunking in a tent with other angels and well away from demons. Ma'ai finished the last of his chowder and stood up to dismiss himself. "Thank you both for your company, it was a pleasure meeting you. Perhaps we'll see each other again soon?" All pointless formalities, of course they'd likely be seeing each other again soon considering how condensed and mixed the populations were here in camp.

"Welcome friends!" Grim greeted Sephiroth, Azurael, and T'vor as they arrived from the crash site.
"Come to see the show?" He was grinning a razor-toothed grin.
T'vor was scowling. His dislike for the undead Angel was obvious.
"Remember to keep away from the fence, ladies and gentlemen, and enjoy the ride! Hehehehehehehe..." Grim announced, spreading his arms wide. The ground beneath them began to shake, and suddenly, ghostly arms burst forth from the dirt, followed by heads, then bodies, then finally, legs. Myriads of ghosts and spirits of all kinds crawled their way to the surface--men, women, and children, Angels, Demons, Humans, and even the souls of long dead Dragons emerged from the earth to answer the Reaper's call. Wordlessly, the procession began to dismember the Exodus, ignoring their living spectators. The dragon spirits began tearing the ship apart, chunk by chunk, and those pieces were torn into yet smaller ones by the humanoid spirits, making short work of the ship, and carrying off every last part upon their backs, marching back towards the encampment.
During this process, Grim had somehow managed to sneak over behind the trio.
"Marvelous, aren't they?" He cackled gleefully.

Azurael spun around, somewhat startled at Grim's sudden appearance but in all truth was not surprised. "Grim, sneaking up behind people is rude and scaring the wrong person may get you hurt. But yes, that was awesome." Azurael said. She watched the dragons in particular. "Imagine if they had all come with us." Azurael paused. "Aal sil unslaad praan drem. May the immortal souls rest in peace." Azurael said somberly.

"Some-times I envy the dead. Life weighs heavy on us all." Azurael said as he watched the dead march her by. Her past seemed to burden her particularly today, as did the prospects for the future.
......................
"The pleasure was all ours. I may very well see you soon. Dinner needs to be prepared." Anuriel said and left the table to go to the kitchen and start the next shift of work.

Damien left and decided to go and practise his flying skills. The muscles weren't yet good enough to take off properly from the ground but he could manage short bursts of low level flight. He dreamed of once again soaring in the skies like they did on the lower gravity Genisis.

Ma'ai cleaned up his space on the table -throwing away the trash and putting away his dish- before finally leaving for his tent. Ah, sleep. The angel couldn't recall the last time he'd been this eager for slumber before and was very much looking forward to the moment his head would finally hit the bed. His job was something he enjoyed but he'd be lying if he denied there being any downsides to it. These past few weeks, for example... Well, let's just say that sleeping on everything but a mattress certainly wasn't any fun. Ma'ai finally reached his sleeping quarters and found the tent in which he'd be staying. The angel undid hood hair tie, lazily stripped himself of his outerwear, and practically dropped onto his cot, happily snuggling into the blankets. Despite the time of day, he was out shortly after.

"Ehehe, me? Get hurt?" Grim giggled at the thought. "If that were possible by any normal means, I probably would be dead by now! Or you know, more dead. Heeheeheehee!"
"Oh, I wouldn't envy them if I were you--they tell me that death can be sooooooo boring. Frankly, I believe them! But I'm only half dead, so I couldn't say I know from experience! If I were you, I'd want to die married, because that way I'd always have someone else to be dead with for eternity! I bet it would be far less boring, then, if ya kno' what I mean, hehehehehehe..."

"You disgust me." T'vor hissed.

Grim frowned in mock disappointment.

Sephiroth followed behind the other three--it was an incredible sight, to be sure, but he hoped Grim wouldn't 'accidentally' forget to take all those souls back with him. He wasn't in the mood for the Angel's shenanigans today. When they got back, he would have to go seek out Damien to retrieve the young dragons.

Chrissa found much comfort in her work--it was simple work, and frankly wasn't very rewarding, but it was busy, and she enjoyed the monotonous routine. It didn't change, she knew what to do, and the familiarity made her relaxed. So when Anuriel returned, she was feeling much better.
"Hello, miss Anuriel!" She greeted when the Demon entered.

Azurael looked at Grim, her head cocked slightly and a sly grin on her face. "The dead can't die can they?" Azurael said. Azurael unsheathed the sword she nearly always kept at her side and buried it in Grim's gut before removing it and wiping it down. She lowered her sword but left it unsheathed and dripping blood. "Just wanted to test a theory." Azurael said. Azurael knew the angel would either be very angry or just laugh it off in that disconcerting manner of his.

Azurael looked at T'vor "That wasn't very nice to say to him." She was thoroughly aware her words might sound disingenuous given she just impaled Grim on her sword. But she was testing a theory and Grim's own word, wereas she viewed T'vor as being straight mean.
...........
"You can just call me Anuriel. No need for the 'miss' part" Anuriel said but in a pleseant tone.

"Remember that job offer is always open for whenever you are ready. You are the only one I trust enough." Anuriel said.

"Eheehee, that tickled!" Grim sniggered, rubbing his gut where Azurael had stabbed him.
"Oh, leave the poor grouch alone, nothing you say or do will change his ways! Well, probably. Hehehehe!"

T'vor turned his attention to Azurael. "Had you expected otherwise, Stormy?" His tone was flat.

"Um, if it's all the same to you, miss Anuriel, I prefer to call you 'miss'! It sounds more official..." Chrissa laughed sheepishly.
"And um, thanks! I'll think about it, I promise!" She added quickly.

"Well, I hope he doesn't change his ways - he's an excellent commander." Azurael said in response to Grim's remark. It was true how she view T'vor.

To T'vor she replied "I don't really know what I was expected. I just wanted to see what would happen."
..............
Anuriel chuckled at Chrissa's response. The wee angel really did warm her heart. "Fair enough, I don't expect a response too quickly, just when you feel you are ready." Anuriel said in a motherly tone.

"I can't wait until I am strong enough to fly." Anuriel said, unsheathing her wings and looking at them before sheathing them again and starting on a cauldron of chicken soup ready for dinner.
...............
A blood curdling scream split the air.

"Oooooooooo!" Grim wiggled his fingers and began to cackle at Azurael. "What's this? You don't actually like the commander, do you? No one likes the commander!"

T'vor growled something under his breath.

"What's that, lizard-man?" Grim asked.

"I said you're a petty imbecile, Grim." T'vor replied.

Before the deathly Angel could respond, however, a scream could be heard, and T'vor immediately ran to see what the source was.

Chrissa nodded eagerly to Anuriel's last comment. "Me too. I'd really like to fly again, I miss it already..." She replied. She finished cleaning up for the end of her shift and left the tent after saying her farewells to Anuriel, again promising to consider the cook's offer. Now that her shift was done, Chrissa found that she had much time on her hands and little to do with it.

Azurael reddened to a shade closely approxiamting that of a tomato. "No-o-oo. What made you think that."

Grim had in fact hit his mark true. Azurael did like the General, not that she would in a million years willingly admit it. Maybe if she was coerced, but even then she would be hard pressed to admit so. At least that is what she thought.

Azurael began racing towards the source of the scream glad for the diversion, she hope nobdy had seen her face. This was embrassing - by the Twelve! She was a soldier not some simpering Court Angel. Still silently berating herself she arrived at the source.

A shirtless demon lay face down on the ground, his massive ragged wings slightly spread, his long black hair trailing messily down to the small of his back. A raven sat perched on his back cawing and pecking at any-one who dared to come close.

"What happened? I heard some-one scream." Azurael asked a nearby Angel.

"That was me. He just appeared out of nowhere. I got a fright. He muttered something about death being near and then collapsed. The bird won't allow us near."

Azurael thought this over and got all bystanders to leave the area.

She saw T'vor nearby. "Do you know where Ari is? She might help here." Azurael asked. Her face was more under control this time.

She figured the whole death thing was a literal Death having been nearby, Death as in the Grim Reaper. She wondered if Grim had anything do with it and voiced her thoughts in simple expression - "Blasted Angel!"
---------
Damien in the mean time was almost frantically tripping over his own feet to spread the news throughout camp. He smashed into one person quite hard in his haste. "Sorry!" He yelled. "Je'nai? Isn't it?" He asked before going to find Ma'ai in his tent. Upon reaching said tent, Damien shouted his name.

"Ow..." Irate, she tutted. "Watch it!" Je'Nai wasn't one to often lose her temper. Even on the few occasions where she did, the hybrid disliked lashing out or revealing whatever nasty thoughts floated along in her mind when whenever she felt particularly bad. Post-tantrum guilt was also inevitable. Yet now she was finding it hard to remain calm when she wasn't just shoulder-checked, but rather, full on walked right into. As if she were invisible or nonexistent. It didn't help that she was already on edge, her nerves bunched up and tense after that demon (whoever he may be) had suddenly shown up in the field. Turned out to be a false alarm, sort of, but the ominous atmosphere surrounding the mystery still lingered. Actually Je'Nai would have been interested in staying around a little longer to satisfy her own curiosity but there was already a crowd forming. And it seemed that a few higher ups who'd arrived shortly after the first scream wished to disperse the gathering audience. Very well. Perhaps that was for the best. Besides, not like it was something she could argue with, she was in no position to challenge others with ranks as important as Generals Highwind or Winchester. Je'Nai looked over her shoulder, but the stranger was already gone from her sight. She scoffed and tried to move on.

Poor Ma'ai, in the meanwhile, had just barely gotten an hour's worth of rest before he was apparently needed once more. The angel shot up like a bullet from the sudden disturbance of Damien's loud entrance. He blinked rapidly several times until his eyes could adjust and then practically glared at the demon. "What? What is it? What's wrong?" he asked as sternly as he could despite his still groggy state. Now both too awake and too impatient, Ma'ai climbed out of bed before Damien could answer and began dressing. Back when he was still just a young recruit he'd been forced to getting used to dressing and undressing in front of others so the angel moved without shame to pluck his clothes off the floor before hastily putting his uniform back together.

Azurael looked at the topless demon lying on the ground before her. The first thing that needed to be done was to get him to Ari. Azurael repressed a shudder at the memory of Ari sticking her with a needle. "I need some help, would you mind?" Azurael asked, searching for some-one to help her and T'vor carry the demon. She knew full well either T'vor or herself could have carried the demon alone, but she wanted to make sure he had a nice smooth ride to medical, she had no clue if he had any injuries and was loath to make them worse. The face she had picked out happened to Je'nai. With a loud "Back to your stations!" to every-one else the crowd soon dissappeared.

.................
"Ma'ai, a demon just popped up out of nowhere! General Highwind and Keeper Winchester are there right now!" Damien didn't exactly have to run to Ma'ai, he just thought seeing as he was the newest person at camp then he might know the now newest person at camp.

The hybrid couldn't decide on how General Winchester's decision made her feel. On one hand this meant she could now get up close and personal with the odd stranger and humor her curiosity, but on the other... "Wha- me?" Je'Nai wasn't opposed to assisting albeit she had been caught off guard by this new task so abruptly bestowed unto her. For a moment she could only stare in silence while the gears in her head turned in smooth unison. "Okay" she murmured. Timidly, Je'Nai removed herself from the now-thinning crowd and closer to General Winchester until they stood abreast. She would have gotten closer to the unconscious form on the ground but the little black raven guarding him seemed angry. Je'Nai raised a brow and warily eyed it. "How can I be of assistance, ma'am?"

Damien's words threw off the angel's composure and Ma'ai nearly stumbled when his otherwise usually-graceful movements stuttered in surprise. He paused, scrunched his brows together, and worried at his bottom lip. Ma'ai opened his mouth as if to say something but decided against it and returned to attempting to gather his thoughts into a comprehensible inquiry. Then he began wrapping up with the finishing touches of assembling his uniform and fixed the collar of his jacket. Finally, "What do you mean 'out of nowhere'?" Ma'ai strode for the door and grabbed Damien by the upper arm on his way out the tent.

"You, scared of ravens?" Azurael asked Je'nai. "I thought your wings could transform into ravens. Or was I misinformed?" Azurael said, the sides of her mouth twitching in an effort not to smile. The raven seemed to carefully regard Je'nai before leaping onto her shoulder. It seemed the raven trusted Je'nai enough to let her near his owner.

"You and I will need to to transport our unknown visitor to the medical tent. We will have T'vors help. I want to make sure we don't cause further injury."

...........................
"Like 'poof' but in reverse. A bonkers raven is protecting him." Damien said. "I promise I didn't do it."

"You're not wrong, and I am rather fond of these intelligent creatures. However their pecki-" It appeared her fretting was for naught. Je'Nai was cut off when the raven decided to perch atop her shoulder and she couldn't help but smile amicably. "Never mind" Je'Nai concluded. She reached up to gently ruffle the bird's feathers behind its head. After a few seconds she returned her attention to said bird's master still laying motionlessly on the ground. Were it not for the slow, soft, rise-&-sink rhythm of the man's sides then he almost looked dead in that position. Upon General Winchester's mention of the demon, Je'Nai spared General Highwind a quick glance and nodded her head in acknowledgement. Now that she knew the raven was granting her permission the hybrid finally approached the unconscious man and knelt by him. She brushed his hair out of his face and gently pressed the back of her hand to his forehead as she checked him. "Shouldn't we get a stretcher?" Je'Nai asked without looking up.

Ma'ai couldn't help but chuckle at Damien's choice of words, both to answer his question and the unnecessary comment at the end. It seemed that questioning the demon wasn't going to get the results he desired so perhaps this was something he should just wait and see for himself. "Fair enough. Will you please lead me there?" he asked.

"Some-one help me." The long haired demon said, slowly rousing himself. "Where am I?" He asked as he slowly stood up. His raven flew around him excitedly before settling on his shoulder.

"You are in a camp comprised of both Angels and Demons. We are on Earth." Azurael said. "Do you know your name? I am General Winchester of the Demons." Azurael remembered to refer to herself as belonging to the Demons now.

"I am Asmod Ra'vul. I am a Demon but I can't remember anything." Asmod replied.

"Je'nai, do you mind escorting Asmod to Ari and her tent?" Azurael asked.
.....................
"Sure!" Damien replied and lead Ma'ai to site only to see Azurael dismissing Asmod and Je'nai. "Well that's him." Damien said pointing at the shirtless demon.

"Hey Tar-feather!" Azurael called, referring to her and Damien's insult battle. Damien grinned "What snow-brain."

"Did you have anything to do with this mishap" Azurael questioned the somewhat accident prone demon.

"Not this time. Ask Grim." Damien said.

Grim seemed to have been standing with Azurael and T'vor the whole time.
"My goodness, I am popular today... My name mention at least three times? Tsk! Something bad must have happened, ehehehehe..."
T'vor started at the Angel's voice and stepped away from him with a snarl.
"I'll go with them." He told Azurael, happy for an excuse to get away from that insane Angel of death. He curtly gestured to Je'nai and Asmod.
"This way." He strode away, clearly expecting them to follow.
Grim waved 'bye' to Asmod.
"Hoohoo, don't you look a little... ashy. Heeheehee!" He turned to Azurael and Damien with a broad, pointy-toothed grin.

Meanwhile, Sephiroth had been just informed of the new arrival, and was on his way to meet with this... Asmod... at Ariadel's tent. His face was set with a small frown.

"Please don't antagonise T'vor. I like him." Azurael said. before reddening when realising her admission. Azurael followed T'vor, Asmod. and Je'nai.

"Can I talk to you later?" Azurael asked T'vor. "It isn't important but, nevermind." Azurael was sure T'vor would probably not reciprocate and she was sure she would embarass herself.

Damien walked slowly behind the rest of the group.

"He's awake" she said dumbly. Startled, Je'Nai jerked her hand back and fluidly rose to step away from the demon when he finally woke. The raven remained firmly fixed above her arm seemingly unbothered by the sudden movement. But when the man, who identified himself as Asmod, finally stood his bird returned to its master. So this stranger, Asmod... What exactly happened to land him here and why couldn't he remember anything? Physically he seemed fine, despite the obvious disorientation, so Je'Nai took that as a good start though she couldn't help but wonder about him. Je'Nai crossed her arms and waited in silence as the General Winchester spoke with the stranger. She raised a brow when Azurael suddenly looked to her. Ari? Ah yes, the young doctor. Je'Nai had yet to actually meet the woman in person but she knew the name. She had a vague idea of where on the campsite the medical tent lay but she wasn't embarrassed to ask for help if the need arose. "Of course" she accepted the task with a bow of her head. Just then General Highwind interrupted with a claim to lead them both to the doctor. Je'Nai had no objections to that. She walked in step with Asmod, right behind T'vor. "Asmod Ra'vul, was it? I'm Je'Nai" she introduced. "If I may ask, what is the last thing that you can remember?" she inquired curiously.

Ma'ai wordlessly followed Damien. When they finally reached the field where the demon had apparently appeared out of nowhere, he quickly spotted the source of their curiosity when Damien pointed him out. "Him?" he asked for confirmation. It seemed the situation was already being handled so there was nothing to worry about. He was still curious but didn't want to interfere; maybe later once all the excitement died down then he'd do a little investigating for himself. After all, was that not his specialty? The angel decided not to follow the others and mumbled a quick "I guess I'll see you later" when Damien began trailing after the small group.

"Hello Je'nai." Asmod said, his voice pleasantly deep and tranquil. "The problem is that I remember nothing. I have my raven, I know my name, and I know that I am a seer. "

He looked at the attractive lass and told her "I believe there are some in the Realm of the Dead that wish to convey some messages to you. I can commune with the spirits if you wish."

He hoped that would not scare her. She seemed to be okay as far as he figured out. "So, can you tell me about where we are."
