Salutations, friends! I originally made this account several years ago alongside a friend with an interest of trying out forum RP, but the two of us were carried away by real-life events and a long-standing tabletop campaign, leaving us with little time to test forum RP as we originally planned. However, since I now have some time to spare during campaign downtime, I thought I should get something crossed off my bucket list and log in to my old account to see what forum RP is truly about.
Without further ado, lets get down to business. I have been roleplaying for quite some time, depending on the various formats. My first introduction to roleplaying was on games such as Roblox, where I roleplayed for two years typing hasty one-liners before I moved on to roleplaying on a MMORPG by the name of World of Warcraft. Spending about five years roleplaying as Alliance (still am today - gold and blue pride, anyone?), I met some good friends on various servers that I still talk to today. About a year after I started roleplaying on MMOs is when my friend decided to introduce me to tabletop roleplaying, which I shamefully admit that I have almost 1.4 years worth of online roleplaying through Roll20 in roughly a three year time span (who am I kidding, roleplaying is fun). Since I had done a ton of roleplay on various formats (other than LARP, which sounds interesting but I just don't have the time for), I thought I should try my luck with the one format I haven't graced a single thought to: forum RP.
My preferences for genres are relatively broad. I'm not a "picky roleplayer" (is that a thing?). As long as a roleplay interests me, there's little chance that I might not enjoy it. However, despite this, there are a select few genres that pick up my attention better than any other. I tend to enjoy anime/JRPG-related roleplays, and also those centered around classic adventuring (like DnD) and military-themed roleplays (from medieval to scifi or maybe a little in between, I'm fine with anything) much more than everything else. If anyone would like to contact me for an invite to join their roleplay, I'd gladly take a look at it.
Finally, my hobbies and interests are relatively limited. I enjoy video games (especially Fire Emblem) and anime, but roleplaying takes up a lot of my free time nowadays. I have an interest in history/fantasy history, and I often enjoy watching historical movies or TV shows, whether it be a documentary about the Crusades to Game of Thrones. I do try to fish whenever I can, but northern temperatures don't always give you a good time to fish when your buttocks are freezing and shivering from the cold. Other than that, I keep relatively to myself and read various books and manga to pass the time whenever I don't have a current roleplay or I'm experiencing downtime.
In any case, I believe that's everything. As I said before, if anyone would like to invite/contact me to join their roleplay, I'd gladly take a look at it. Here's to experiencing some great roleplays! :)
