@Dynamo Frokane Hell I agreed with your negative response. I can't even agree with your sentiment without you being offended? And right, like you care about following rules...(and rules that weren't even there previously, by the by...once again not that you care, if you can throw a jab at me.) And why must you make everything personal? (I still have evidence of that mind.) What do you even know about me? Please keep personal spats in PM's or something. I know low scoring songs posted by people you don't like is fine and dandy, but I'm quite aware that's all it is. Nor am I bothered by it. That's all I'm going to say about it. I will keep on judging music, based on it's quality and not who happened to post it, to make some kind of spiteful point.

@Garattee He doesn't agree with you because he actually agrees with you. Just fair warning before you thank him for it. I also apologize again. That I had to respond to a personal attack, but to be fair it's not about the music. So still following the rules. I will respect those rules, maybe I'll pm people when I'm interested in their musical taste. Since you don't want that here.

@Mortimer And shit you beat me to the punch. Here's your song's rating. 8.5/10 Good track.

@Primal Conundrum Elder scrolls soundtracks are all fantastic. 9/10

Had nothing in mind so here's something random. A minor interesting thing about the opening, I found out hearing a discussion about it. Is that it cleverly spoils the endings of the game.

@SleepingSilence 6/10, felt it was pretty generic. I liked the first 30 seconds the most, before the singing.

I was about to rant about the lack of Witcher in this thread, but then I found some on the first page. God bless you, @Dark Wind.

Though it's very difficult for me to pick out my favourites (yes, extreme fanboy here), I've settled on these two. One from the base game, one from Blood and Wine (which is as good as the base game on it's own, damn).

The first one...not my piece of cake. I reckon that it has nice instruments, but my personal score is 6/10.
As for the second one, simply fantastic. 10/10.

@Mortimer nostalgia notwithstanding (Tenchu is one of the few games that come close to rivaling Thief as the best stealth franchise of all time), I appreciate that not all the music in the game sounded like generic "oriental" schlock. It's not too exciting melodically but it pumps you up to earn some fucking ninja ranks. 7/10

@pugbutter Never been truly into games like Civilization, though perhaps I should give them a retry one day. But, that soundtrack gets me into the mood of symphonies, feeling all classy while I plot world domination and shit. 7.5/10

I feel like any thread such as this requires this to be tossed in.

@Dark Wind Oh my God it's so catchy I love it. Probably the catchiest song in the entire game, and it just has such a nice sound to it. I especially like the additional instruments they gradually add in. Just one more great track in a game full of them. 8.5/10.

7/10 Not bad but not quite my cup of tea. I kinda like it for the usage of the tones considering it is from an era where music was more simple in gaming.

Interesting, really has that action-y tinge proper for a spiderman game. Though not really the best I heard, i'd give it a 7/10.

@Sputnik A true classic. It's simply a joy to listen to after completing the game, plus it expresses GLaDOS very well. 10/10.

Now for my other favourite franchise, and the single best track in the first game!

@Mateotis Catchy beat, creative sound - unfortunately I just can't stand lounge music, so I'm a bit biased I'm afraid! I'd have to drop a 5/10.

Who ever is judging this, I implore you listen through the whole loop.

@TancurasI assume you meant the whole video. (I hope people are listening it to it all. Or explaining why they're not...o.o (oh yeah right, I can't talk.)

7/10 It was decent battle music, though the longer it went on it didn't get more epic/exciting (which after you said that, I was expecting a build up? Maybe it just went over my head listening to it as background music.) Was kind of dwindling my interest in the last minute or so.

I'm not much into JRPGs, but one of my favorite radio stations was playing orchestral interpretations (not sure if the OST is orchestral) and Wow, Beautiful (Theme of Love).

I've also been listening to a Jazz Album of Undertale songs which is super duper cool.

@Mateotis That has a really cool vibe! It reminds me of some of those old cyperpunk, neo-classic animes that have become popular again recently. Maybe 7/10?

@Iuniper 9/10 on the Theme of Love, I actually got a bit of a chill just listening to it. Never played FFIV, unfortunately, but many consider that to be the moment where FF really took off onto its golden ages. 8/10 on the Jazz, that really mellowed me out.

@SleepingSilence 7/10 - not much in the way of dynamic-ness, but that had me bobbing my head lol. Gotta love that classic loop style of game music.

Speaking of loops...

@Dark Wind Man, FFVII. I have a lot of emotional attachment to this game's music as it was one of my first real RPGs growing up. It's probably the only Final Fantasy game that managed to instill a true horror aspect. That song and Jenova's theme both have a sort of eldritch, alien terror attached to them that really bring together the game's atmosphere. 8/10 for me.

Speaking of atmosphere, Ocarina of Time, especially the music. This one is really a perfect final boss battle for me. The galloping cadence of the snares sets the pace of the fight, and the melody creates a solemn mood of finality, destiny. Just two souls on the battlefield, irrefutably ending an age-long conflict.

@TancurasJust a heads up there dude. Please leave the critiquing to the next poster in line k? Thanks. n_n

Anyways, on to the review.

Final Battle Against Ganon - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: You've said it all. I couldn't have said it better myself. This theme holds a special place in my heart as an accompaniment to one of the most epic moments of my childhood. A perfect end to a perfect game. 10/10

@Dynamo Frokane Can't get the doo-doo-do-do-do's out of my head. I've not played the game, which probably makes reviewing it difficult, but it was a weird sort doo-doo-do-do-do of good. I'd give it seven out of ten; not necessarily cup of tea in terms of video game doo-doo-do-do-do music, but it's still nice.

Seeing as somebody's already got "Still Alive", have the best piece of music from Portal 2. I know it's almost certainly not the done thing to provide commentary for your own choice, but this song is so wonderfully jittery, I can't express my love for it enough.

@Hylozoist 9/10 God, Portals soundtracks are so damn good. I don't often listen to video game soundtracks on their own, but I could totally listen to this.

Another really good game for kick ass music. (even if the game has gone a LITTLE downhill...)
