"Thanks! Hm... Guess I'll be signing up for that class, then."

As Hugo walked backwards towards the cafeteria, he found himself quietly humming and beatboxing a tune under his breath. Shapeless ideas and voiceless words echoed around his head to the sound of the music, trying to find form. Without words, the tone lacked power, and instead merely cast a soft light with a slowly changing glow.

Hugo turns back around to walk to the cafeteria, allowing himself to get lost in the feeling of music. A short walk later and he finds himself inside, nearly totally oblivious to his surroundings. The colored light continues shifting and changing, but doesn't grow in strength at all. He seems to be tuning out almost all noise from the outside world, right on up until he orders the mandarin chicken from one of the lunch lines and chooses a seat on the side of the cafeteria, facing inwards, where he simply watches the other students.

He doesn't relight his pipe, as that would be quite rude in a cafeteria.

Skylar continued painting the dark shapes of trees on her wall. She was painting the familiar forest that her father took her as a child. Tears welled in her eyes as those memories flooded her mind and "Impossible Year" by Panic! At The Disco began to play. She quickly wiped her eyes. "I have to stay strong. I can't show weakness. That's when they betray you is when you show weakness." she thought to herself as she continued to paint.

After a very short time, Hugo finishes his meal and returns the tray to the receptacle above the trashcan. He picks up his suitcase - time to head back and check out his dormitory. It'd likely be rather blank and white, but perhaps he'd be able to get away with repainting the walls to something more calming. Perhaps a shade of blue.

He waves on his way out to whoever he notices whom he's already met on the way out, then crosses the courtyard back to what would be his new home and steps inside. Some fumbling around in his pockets for the administrator's note later, he discovers that he's supposed to be in room 122, and he retrieves his room key before disappearing into his dorm and beginning unpacking to build up his new home.

Skylar checked the time. She then decided to head out to behind the gym as instructed. She turned off her music and grabbed her jacket key and phone then headed out.

Hugo exited his dorm, sans suitcase, with his pipe in hand. A pair of Skullcandy headphones rested around his neck, softly playing some music, only barely audible to those nearby. Once outside, Skylar passed him by, and he gave her a short wave.
