@Antarctic Termite Actually, that's a good point. I suppose there will still be player characters in the city during the invasion. Perhaps I'll have to collab with Tira or someone else still there if the subplots prove not filling enough.

Either that or I have Conata stop by Metera on the way after all.

Tira still has the Godkiller inside her, right? I'm still far behind on the IC reading, so not sure what has become canon with regards to how the Godkiller's host interacts with divine characters

She skates around Alefpria and sticks it to the man (her mom).

So, currently she's just a teenager.

@Bright_Ops This is something that has been coming up a lot in PMs recently. We don't have an after life. The (now-dead) god of death created a system whereby souls are perpetually reincarnated via stones. So there is no 'after life' really.

Farxus did two things of important!

He is not only the first person to use a Might Point from Fates pool, but he has also created the idea of an Afterlife among mortal races... even if the idea itself isn't exactly widespread in and of itself. People with near death experiences need to spread the word first after all, but its only a matter of time.

Not only is Farxus the first to use Might from Fate's Might Pot, he is the first to get anywhere near creating an afterlife in any Divinus RP to date.

If it wasn't clear, Aihtiraq's sudden appearance and the Winds of Magic took up the majority of that 18(?) Might in the Fate pot that Zephyrion spilled over.

@Cyclone Wat? You never mentioned that at all - it's not even in the post summary

Edit: and I don't see why 1) Aihtiraq's creation requires Might at all and, 2) Why unleashing the (already existent but sealed) Winds of Change requires any Might at all

It was agreed upon in the OOC.

Edit: yeah, page 628 I mentioned that's what I was doing. Termite said some other stuff about it on 629, and then it would seem that everyone else just mounted their horses gods and gallivanted off to forget about the whole thing xd

Wat? The collab banter is just mutual trolling (or in the case of the current pad, Vec + Kho vs Cyclone trolling ;p)

If I say something publicly on the OOC, its importance supersedes anything in PM or on pads and so I'd expect you to pay even more attention to it >.>

pretty sure we discussed this in the PM convo too!

But in any case, who am I to argue? The implications of you saying, "nope you didn't need to spend any might on that giant stuff!" is to let me spend the 18 Might on something else. Since we did agree in PM and then announced on the OOC that if your might goes into the fate pot, you can use it.

So what's it gonna be Kho? Status quo? Me forced to go back on the IC and add some wretched Might summary mentioning this? Or do I get 18 more Might worth of stuff to do?

@Cyclone Oh yeah, that one you and Rtron backed me into -.-

damn you democracy, gimme back my whip!

Fine, Fate's Might pot was robbed by you first. But the first legitimate, khopproved usage of Fate's Might is by Farxus. Hope you're happy with Aihtiraq being the bastard eldest child of Fate *shakes fist some more*

Very nice post. About time we got an afterlife. Did you take some inspiration from Pratchett for your model of the afterlife? I note some similarities (although, it could be coincidence).

As for an afterlife, as you know, 1% of the dead rise again as Cursed. What you might not have noticed is that one quarter of all who die get sent to Vestec's Realm of Madness rather than the Wraith Stone (http://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/3535440). This is a pretty terrible fate, and I would put it next on your to-do list (although much harder to fix).

Also, you might not have noticed, but the Wraith Stone is guarded by an angry powerful mechanised Avatar of Reathos, plus a bunch of reincarnated Pronobii ('the Guardians of Death'). Perhaps they ignore Farxus for whatever reason? Or he's sneaky? Something to think about, maybe talk to @Rtron.

@BBeast

I thought that the Avatar of Reathos and the Pronobi were dead and gone at some point after their creator died, what with the Wraith Stone being moved and everything. Granted I think there are some dwarves in the general area of the mountain the Stone is kept now, but Farxus hasn't really talked with them personally yet.

Either way, I think Farxus smells enough like their old master to not be bothered.

And you are correct in that I was inspired by Terry Pratchett.

The Guardians of Death follow the Avatar. Which is insane and has an intense desire to kill, well, everything. Vestec wants people to start going after the artifacts of death, so he spread the legend that if you collect all of them and bring them to the vault, an undead army of super killers will be yours. The only catch is that you have to kill the Avatar first.

I'm sure Farxus could just hide from the Avatar with magic. Make it think he's dead or something. It's not terribly bright. But 'You smell like my dead master' bit won't work for the bloodlust insane mechanical monstrosity.

@BBeast When reading that post, I immediately said 'fart' when the sculptor asked its question. I laughed to see that another sculptor had a similarly childish sense of humour xD.

Also, not to be a pedant, but for the sake of preventing miscommunication, Yorum is not really a nation, it's just a region of independent city states at the moment. Nationhood may or may not come later. Still, it's at a level of civilisation that none of the statements made about it in the post are necessarily incorrect.

I have given the wiki a partially nice and partially disgusting new theme. Those more design-minded may bring up an alternative if they wish, just send me the hex colour values.
