Sarah sighed softly and mumbled something under her breath. Yeah, Sarah...cared, she guessed, about Grayson, but he could be a real ass sometimes. He reminded her of her old drill sergeant. Stickler for punctuality, OCD, hell, he even LOOKED a bit like her old drill sergeant, but with a bit longer hair. She got Alexander sat down and sighed softly.

A static melody could be heard resonating from the gramophone inside Nicholas's study; as usual, the Lord had already awoken to the morning chorus of birds and was now prepping himself for breakfast. Unlike the majority of the household, who needed prompting to get out of bed, Nicholas was almost always up and awake at an ungodly hour. It was during these moments that he preferred to be left alone; lost in thought over trivial matters that needn't concern others. However, this moment of contemplation was brief, having been disrupted by the usual morning commotion of people walking back and forth, hastily preparing themselves for breakfast.

Sighing, Nicholas would finish adjusting the collar of his shirt prior slipping on his fitted, tailor-made waistcoat. "I suppose it's about time I greet the others." He'd mumble to no one in particular before opening up the door to his study, and proceeding to make his way downstairs to the breakfast table.

Esmeralda

Esmeralda stirred when she heard a knock at her door. "Thank you Greyson. Make sure Alex is awake as well please." She said as she stood up and went to get dressed. She found a red and white dress and a matching pair of shoes. She knew that it did not matter what she wore but she knew that anything could happen in the day. After she was dressed and pulled her hair in a bun, she opened her door and headed down to the dinning room. She hoped her husband was there and even her son.

Kayla
Kayla finished with the dinning room and went to find Greyson. She knew that he would have a long list of the different rooms she would need to clean. She looked everywhere hoping to run into him as she looked through each room to see if she could find him.

Grayson was standing at one end of the hall when he spotted Kayla. "Hello Kayla." He handed her her list. "Here is the list of rooms that need cleaning. I would recommend that you finish quickly, the masters are doing an inspection today." He warned.
Alex looked up when his mother came in. "Hello Mother." He said with a smile. Through all of what has happened to him, Alexander still enjoys his mother greatly. He then greeted his father as well, just not with as much joy as he did his mother.

Kayla

She smiled taking the list from him. "Ah this will be great." She said seeing that there was only a handful of rooms left. "I know that I can get these rooms perfect for inspection today." She said smiling with a small bow. She knew she could get the work done easily and with even time to spare.

Esmeralda

Esmeralda smiled placing a hand softly on Alex's shoulder for a brief moment. "Good morning my son." She said smiling as she looked up to see her husband Nathaniel. "Good morning dear." She said smiling over at her husband brightly. She grabbed the seat next to his as she waited for breakfast to be placed on the table.

Grayson bowed to Esmerelda and Nicholas when he came in. "Hello my Lords. If you so please, breakfast has been made and is ready to be served." Then turning towards the kitchen, "Anastasia!"

Hearing Grayson call her, Anastasia placed her book atop the fridge and began bringing the breakfast to the dining room. After the round of walking back-and-forth, everything was on the table. Bowing down to the family, she said "Enjoy your meal" and promptly returned to the kitchens.

Sarah stood guard, her eyes darting around, then once the family was eating she seemed to relax a bit.

Esmeralda smiled. "Thank you Anastasia." She said smiling at the chef. She was quite a fan of her cooking and loved how punctual she was to get the meals out on time. She knew her job was not easy. She looked around at her family as she grabbed her fork and looked over everything that was served for the morning. "Everything looks amazing." She said smiling.
