@VKAllen That works for me. Koldar would probably hear of the Wolf with curved blades, but in his mind he wouldn't pay much heed to it. He often asks of other Witchers or other fighters of note whether material or magical. It was that nature that led him to his destination beyond Haakland, however he managed to stay in Haakland for several odd months before passing on.

Hider'd appearance and gave more description of height and body build.

Rilden is tasked with finding you crazy kids so he's gonna hear the tales of some of ya... just don't forget that Rilden can be badass too:( haha

But I like it! Rilden would almost try and help the civilians of the ship, since they're paying him for whatever sea monster he's trying to hunt, until his medallion starts shaking from Scilla's presence, where he backs the hell off haha

As far as starting the IC goes, I was thinking with Rilden's advanced knowledge on beasts, he would create a fake "bounty" on a creature that was very rare, and magically adept, so both Witchers would want to take it on, and Mages (and even High Vampires) would want to tame it...

OR we could use the theme of "fate" and have them all be around the same area as a large teleportation of very hostile and smart creatures that fall upon an important city in the world. Mages would want to see what caused that much magic, Witchers will want to kill them, and so on.

OR we are all connected in some elaborate "we all have our own goals right now" but then they join forces. Like Rilden is chasing a lead on a Witcher/mage sighting, The assassin witcher is taking on a contract, another witcher could be searching for a High Vampire said to be hiding within the town, etc. This one will require a lot of conversation and talking XD

Those are my ideas right now. nothing definite, these are rough drafts, and I'd love to hear your guys' inputs and ideas!

The fake contract could work though frankly it will raise some flags about why now and really such a rare creature in these parts kinds of questions will pop up lol.

The fate route... kind of makes pointless the whole go gather your kind task lol. Still workable, but not really interresting if you ask me.

The everyone's goals and tasks is also great, but requires a lot of setting up. I vote for the first lol.

I am going for either the first or the last. Koldar is a Witcher who embodies the ideal of the Hunt. He will go after any bounty or rumor of beast. He will examine it, follow it, and slay it. He will break it down as a predator, he will hunt it as if it were the prey, and he will take a trophy.

This makes him a man of great knowledge when it comes to beasts, but he willingly cares nothing for politics and very little for over all magic. He has developed a couple unique signs, which are mostly slightly changed pre-existing signs, but Magic is something he wants nothing to do with in the end.

You mean sabers? Cause that definitely looks like a hungarian saber, except it has a katana-style kissaki with no false edge. Bit forward weighted if I may say. Regardless, still potent slashers.

@VKAllen Ehhh it's a gray area but that type of blade and handle also appear with scimitars. Thought admiteldy the sharp edge I made to be slightly more katana ish. Basically there's a big variety of ottoman scimitars/sabers from the ottoman empire period.

@rivaan Indeed. Many people have used different terms to describe this single-edged and strongly curved blade. Scimitars, Cutlass, Shamshir. Although I find that scimitars are more akin to blades where the blade is short, curved and wider in length as opposed to this very uniformed taper throughout. Cutlass are 'slightly' curved single-edged swords usually with a hand guard and shamshirs as hungarian sabers. Oh how I desire to have one good Hungarian Saber!
