Heya! I'm a friend of another roleplayer in this game, but otherwise I'm pretty much completely new to this website.

I was gonna just post a submission out of the blue after lurking a bit, but having been advised to ask first - would it be looked down upon to submit a Demon Hunter as opposed to a Magus as a master?

I'm aware of the logistical issues (prana limitations, etc.) which I don't mind, I just want to know if it would be rejected outright. I got in trouble for it at another Fate RP, so figured I should make sure first.

It's fine if a Master isn't a true "magus", but if you're planning on summoning a Servant then they'll still need to have Circuits even if they're trash-grade ones and they know zero magecraft. Since you want to app a Demon Hunter, you should PM me with what you're currently thinking of doing and whatnot so I can make sure it all checks out conceptually.

As an example my master is a relatively normal person who had dormant circuits, like say Ryuunosuke. It works, but you do need circuits ultimately as Moonlit already said.

@Beloss Do you remember when the time skip will be? Sorry for not saying anything for another few days. It really has been busy on my end, and i've been sitting on this site for days trying to think of something.

Alrighty, so real life dissertation-related circumstances have made it such that, for the next 3-4 weeks or so, @Player 2 will need to step out of the RP. Given that, we'll need to sort something out for @Berserk Gene and @DrowsyPangolin since they're partnered with him.

He's granted permission to either of you to take control of his characters for this time frame if you're so inclined, and since both of you are only playing one character currently, that's definitely an option. Additionally, he's granted permission to @Yukitamas as well.

So, regarding Nimrod, our base options are that A. one of you three can take control of him for the time being, B. if none of you want to do that but @DrowsyPangolin still wants to be partnered with Nimrod, I can assume temporary control of him, or C. Nimrod gets offed and @DrowsyPangolin's Master recontracts with one of the available Servants.

Regarding Stirner, it's the same story but with the caveat that there are not any available Masters sans the one currently in progress by @SIGINT, so the options are a bit worse-off. In the worst case scenario, though, I can arrange something on the NPC side of things to ensure that Emperor Norton can stay in the war, to be fair to @Berserk Gene.

At any rate, the involved parties should let me know what they'd like to do, and if there are any additional concerns, let me know so we can hash things out properly and make this transition a smooth one. I do have some additional routes we could take on this, but I'd like an idea of where preferences lie before we get into that.

EDIT: I've been told that the friend @SIGINT mentioned was actually @Berserk Gene, so it looks like Stirner's slot will be replaced by @SIGINT's Master. Hooray. So, we really just need to decide what to do with Team Nimrod.

In any case, I'm glad to be able to fill in. It's kind of a shame, since I liked Stirner a lot, but hopefully he'll be back around and we can figure something out. Grail Wars are LOGISTICS HELL as far as roleplays go, so the opportunity to keep things running smoothly despite the circumstances is something I can appreciate, at least.

I've got the character application mostly written out. Will definitely be up within the day.

It does seem like there are a lot more Servants than Masters...

I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, but if I'm able to handle it, I'll definitely think about apping other Master ideas to help even things out. For now, though, I'd like to just get used to the site and such ^^; the single-thread format is very different from what I'm used to.

While there's a Master/Servant imbalance (clearly a shocking occurrence in a Fate/RP), there is a limit of one Master and one Servant app per person. If you're particularly inclined to Masters then I can consider allowing two Master apps, but I'd need to mull on that; I'd generally advise just sticking with the one, though.
