Welcome! I hope you all at least managed to get through the setting with minimal loss of eyesight and or blood loss. I have a tendency to write walls of text, so if that's bothersome than I will not hold anything against you. Any Questions or Concerns about the roleplay can be asked here, anything more private about life or just a 'secret' idea can be communicated through private message. I'll be posting information here regularily to keep track of how the world is going to function, because we're going to write it together. I love to have others ideas put into the roleplay to change the scope on how I look and interact with things, keeps it different and interesting. Which is awesome, so don't be afraid to use your freedom with ideas, if it conflicts with something I have planned and haven't told you yet I'll adapt, or we can work through it. Ah, awesome map! If I’d have seen that would have put my characters location in, but I suppose not that important at this stage.

I’ve gone with a weaker mage type character if that’s okay? Didn’t know if you had anything specific in mind for protagonists or for the ‘magic system’ in general. Let me know if anything needs changing or anything at all really :D

I'm willing to relinquish my spot to Ontos. As interested as I am in this. I'm just too busy during the week and too drained during the weekend. I imagine if I continue it won't be too long before I hold everyone up a great deal. I wish you all a lot of fun though.

Next post, off to the dungeons with the lot of us. Giving one more intermediate post to kind of reveal a little bit about my character, and to give Ontos a chance to decide if he would like to add his hand to this.

A few notes about magic (that I will add to the information database at some point)
---- Anything that directly manipulates another person or creature has a will check. This means that your will must be stronger than the others. Will checks in succession will increasingly weaken the caster faster than a normal manifestation weave.
(ie: polymorphing, blood weaving, = will check ) ( fireball, illusions = manifestation)

Ontos will not be joining us. We have an open spot for future players, but for now there is no need for pause.

Counter spells will have a will check, as magic is derived from one's willpower and control. (Oldschool baby).

Anti-magic is most likely an enchantment, which does not have a will check.

Magic-Nullification zones are manifestations, size, strength, and duration all depend on you. But it always works as a counter spell, the opposing caster needed to break past your will to break through the null-zone.
