Versailles
"To come together and live peacefully is a dream anyone can have, but here at Versailles, it is what we do."Home is a place where you can feel safe and be at ease. Home is a place where there are no worries. Home is Versailles. The small, make-shift town was built after the infections spread across the United States. It is located on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, right off of the Mississippi River. To this day, two years after the outbreak of infections that wiped out three-fifths of the American population, Versailles still stands tall and strong holding her walls up high and opening her gates for those who ask for it. Though it might seem as if the people of Versailles are too kindhearted and naive of the world outside their walls, they do know better though. The leaders of Versailles will do whatever it takes to keep their families alive. They will defend themselves and do what is needed to survive because they want to ensure that their home is what they say it is, a place they can all feel safe.
In their walls, behind the barricaded, iron-clad fences, the people of Versailles are safe, outside of it is another story where anything goes.
