So, I'm still alive, and I've made my first-ever story-affecting post in the IC. If I did anything wrong, or if I need to do anything more to finish it off, please let me know. I'm still a bit new to all this.
@Ferrocerium I am new too, so this'll be a learning experience for the both of us.
Hopefully I'll learn quite a bit as I constantly feel like my writing is adequate at best. I constantly rewrite everything, but I never really feel satisfied with my writing. I still have a series on deviant art that I barely started but have not worked on for months because of the aforementioned reason. If anyone wants to give me some writing tips, I'd appreciate it. Specifically on dialogue as I think that is my weakest trait.
Personally, I elected to do a more of a passive role initially. I was going to write a post after @Utrax, But I'll follow your lead. I'll write another post in a day or two, though a quick question. Did Anton and the other guy teleport to the immediate vicinity outside the building or to a different location entirely? I'd need to know whether or not my char, Gavin, would see a person blink spontaneously into existence or not.
@Lord Wraith for future reference, how bad is the weather around the city in general. As I mentioned in my CS, Gavin has an aqaintance who occasionally airdrops supplies and I'd like to know the practicality of say a SnowGoose bringing medical supplies or armaments.
*Screams!* I just completed leg 1 of 5 on another migration. A drive from San Antonio to Colorado springs in one day. Final destination is Seattle. This week will be weird for me.
EDIT: I now realize I don't have to post really soon. I am tired. Will post when other folks are done doing the thing.
@Lurking Shadow Anton didn't think of a specific destination for his egress point, and neither did I. He only needed to get to a safe distance from the sawmill, and preferably to a place where he could expect there to not be many people. If you want to say that your character just so happened to be in the area where Anton reappears, then go ahead.
@Lord Wraith I also hope that I wasn't wrong to guess that it was some Draoi fuckery going on. Seemed reasonable. Magic trees, fire, cryptically aloof murderous women, et cetera.
