Uhm uhm.

And knowing her, I bet she would pick up on a god who is very hard to disturb, and yet somehow make said deity very pissed.

That wacky lizard.

Those are the odds. What are the Chances?

This is how I imagine Amartia once (if) he attains Godhood.

That is (excuse my language) fucking beautiful! I found that image a while ago and it's my established God-Amartía form. It just reeks of Pride.

@Antarctic Termite If I didn't have a doctors appointment today I would wave goodbye to the afternoon. Just as well, otherwise stuff like that would edge me over the precipice of writing a book that I am only convinced would be completed by procrastinating from other things in life.

Have you asked questions on that blog, Termite? What's your opinion?

Maybe when exams are over we should each choose one of our posts and have the others re-read it and answer a selection of those questions for it. Would be an interesting exercise.

I do not think one post would do justice to one's style. I mean, we typically read most of the others' posts, right? Why not just have those questions answered referring to the in general style between posts of a player?

The first set of questions surely doesn't work that well on a general basis, but I feel like the others do.

As it happens, nope. It's just something I found and thought might be useful.

@Double Capybara For the more specific questions (i.e. relating to the favourite character in a chapter, which character/s one liked/didn't like etc. and for what reason) a post or two would be better since each player has a host of characters that may be in completely unrelated plots. For more general questions, an overall analysis of each player's style across the length of the RP thus far is a rather daunting task.

I think one post, or a series of posts by a player related to one plot (e.g. The Grand Parade) would be more reasonable. If it works out the first time, maybe we can do it a few more times so that each of us gets a better understanding of our overall strengths and weaknesses.

Edit: And yeah, I'm so behind T-T

I've been reading old posts to complete Toun's wiki article and I've noticed something that might add to this discussion on analysing posts for feedback.

My writing twelve months ago was god-awful had a few extra flaws than it does today. Now, I have ups and downs with how I write, but the endless march forward might make it useful to look at more recent posts. This is probably the case for the rest of us.

Otherwise, wow, I've still got plot points in my pocket from a year ago that I haven't carried through yet :P. And the ones I've let go, hoo boy. Once upon a time, I had the idea of sending an automaton army to join the battle of Angelblood Ridge to win against chaos and then turn against the Valley of Peace. Mmmmmhmmmm, that would have brought that collab about five months longer to complete.

@Double Capybara No Capy, your writing HAS improved. I can proudly declare that before you used to spell 'through' as 'trough' ALL THE TIME. Now you only do it sometimes :D

Jokes aside, The Grand Parade DEFINITELY got better with each new part. I know this because I waited until you were finished with it before reading it all in one go - and I could feel the improvement as I read :) I think you're just comparing how you felt when you wrote those posts to how you feel now (I think), because you've been in planning mode and something of writer's block for a while now

I still remember most of my old posts, and I gotta say, I think they've all been complete crap. My idea for Niciel was never fully cemented, so her personality has been a bit over the place, and the story progression for my characters was lackluster. On top of that, my posts mainly consist of dialogue and empty space just to make them seem larger. Compared to me, you guys seem like pro authors.

Haaah, sorry about the lack of posts. Life has been screwy with me still, but my family is moving to a new house which is a welcome change! Just more busy business to worry about.

I'm working on my post though, believe me, you can use Termi as a witness.

I'm kinda depressed that I killed off Shaqmar and Layla and am kinda torn. A part of me wants to backtrack and make that epilogue (or at least the last paragraph) a dream...

To those who have gotten round to reading it, what do you think? Should I do it? Or should I just leave it?
