Powers: She has the power of observation. Anything she sees (whether it be in real life or not.), she’ll be able to do it flawlessly. Whether it be a fighting style or being able to create/build something or just do something simple like making Chicken Parmesan.

Abilities: Before all of this, she took archery classes from a young age. She also did gymnastics in elementary school and into middle school. Her father used to be in the Military so she was given basic self-defence training. So, to summarize, she is good with a bow and arrow. She is flexible and has good control over her body movements. She ALSO has basic martial arts training and can shoot a gun reasonably okay.

Equipment: She has a bow and a quiver of arrows. (Reinforced and enhanced arrows of course.) She also carries a small dagger for emergency purposes.

Personality: Ruby is more of a dreamer. She tends to daze off and get lost in her own thoughts. She’s been called ‘flighty’ and ‘weird’ constantly but it only adds to her personality. She is the caring type, the kind of person to make you cookies if you feel sad. That, of course, is assuming that she doesn’t burn them. (Even though she can learn how to do anything, she just sucks at making cookies. NO idea why.)

She has a bit of a sad past yet she treats it as if it never happened. SO, just go with it. She is kind, even if she doesn’t seem like it at first, and is intelligent despite her dazed off expression. She also has a habit of doing everything… different then the way it is supposed to go. BUT, that’s just her. Give her a chance and you may be surprised by how much you like her ‘oddities’.

Brief Backstory: She gained her powers when she was 10 through an experimental procedure from a mysterious company that was supposed to help her with the very severe seizures she’d used to have. But, they ended up doing something wrong and tapped into some dormant abilities she wasn’t meant to unlock ever. Her parents moved her to Rush city in order to get away from the company and because her father was given a position in the police force. Then… that leads to all of this.

Arc Ideas:
Forgetful: After a few missions, Ruby starts to daze off even more, even in the middle of conversations or during fights. She then starts to forget things, small stuff at first. Like, where she put her keys or whether or not she'd already said something. Then, it all starts to get worse and worse until she eventually ends up passing out. As it turns out, those that experimented on her had been religiously giving her this virus to keep her docile and 'dreamy'. But, now that she's been away from the company for so long and has been away from the injections... her body is going through this 'detox' process that could kill her if a substitute isn't given or created.

Old Memories: The company that experimented on her is looking for her again. As it turns out, she was quite the pricey experiment, funded by a big shot CEO of some foreign company who was the puppet master behind the idea of the experiments. He wants his money's worth and has been unable to just 'let it go' like he tried to before. He wants her back under treatment as he wants to turn her into his own 'soldier' of sorts. So, he's doing all he can to track down Ruby and bring her back.

Family Matters: Ruby's parents are kidnapped by the company that experimented on her, thinking maybe there was something in the genetics that made for successful experiments and they know going for Ruby would be too dangerous. For the first time since she's been experimented on, she is able to think clearly and focus. She becomes obsessed with tracking down the company and rescuing her parents, spiraling down into this short-tempered, hot-headed, obsessed shell of a woman who will do anything to get her parents back.

Technological Possession: Bailey has the ability to merge his physical form with any form of technology, gaining complete control over it. The possessed technology turns a deep crimson in color with various black circuits spread over the surface. Bailey is able to alter the structure and function of the afflicted machinery beyond it's intended purposes, within reason. For example, he can take control of a desktop computer and grant it the ability to fire lasers from the screen.

While possessing a machine, Bailey is weak to anything that is generally bad for technology. Electricity can fry his circuits, an EMP can temporarily shut down his control of the machine and he can even be susceptible to cyber-viruses that will disorient and afflict him like a common cold would a human. Needless to say any physical damage to the machine will also hurt him.

Abilities:
IT Nerd: Bailey is a very tech savvy young man and can work his way around a computer with exceptional skill. His ability to code and program is top tier and his superhero alias, D-Code, is well known across the country as a fearsome hacker. He exposes corrupt politicians, CEO's and other influential figures by cracking their personal accounts; bringing light to their corruption and sharing it with the world. He's also quite good at video games, which he likes to brag about to the other Sentinels. He maintains a gaming blog/stream in the majority of his off time which he is very proud of despite his lackluster popularity.

Photographic Memory: Bailey has very high rote memory capabilities, able to memorize most things he sees in great detail after only seeing it once or twice. However he tends to be quite a space case and rarely recalls anything actually useful unless there is a sufficient visual or audio prompt for him to go off of.

Equipment:
Lil' Slugger: Bailey doesn't usually rely on fighting without his power, but he does carry around his trusty aluminum baseball bat just in case he needs to whack a baddie.

Smartphone: Bailey wouldn't be caught dead without his phone.

Personality:
Bailey is your stereotypical dissatisfied teenage youth who thinks he's so much more cooler than you because he posts long-winded essays about his opinions onto random internet message boards. He has a smug aura about him and likes to talk a big talk to the other Sentinels, but lacks the physical strength or motivation to really follow through. Even despite his lack of ambition, Bailey is extremely competitive and easily jibed into aggressive contest with his peers with a few throwaway remarks regarding his skills. Though his tendency to get distracted easily usually leads to him losing said contests.

Even despite his rather egotistical attitude, he is perceived as quite shy when not hiding behind the anonymity of a computer screen. He has a habit of speaking using internet slang in normal conversation, which most find rather perplexing. He'll even make obscure references to video games in real life as if his own existence is a game to be won. There is a nagging persistence in the back of his mind to be useful to the other Sentinels; an insecurity which usually leads him to not taking criticism from them very well.

Truthfully, Bailey is only known to really give his all to the select few interests he devotes most of his time to; blogging, hacking and gaming. While most will write him off as an unmotivated slacker, his fellow Sentinels have seen the fiery glint in his eyes as his fingers fly across the keyboard to secure some valuable intel for his team's latest mission. His addictive personality turns him into a force to be reckoned with when he decides to devote himself entirely to a cause.

Brief Backstory:
Another foster child raised in the bustling heart of Rush City, Bailey wasn't what you'd consider a particularly eye catching kid. Yet despite his generic appearances, the young boy was born with a natural affinity towards technology. It was as if his physical body could deeply resonate with the machines; a strange power which he honed over the years. Unfortunately, Bailey did not originally use his powers for good. Rather, he would use his ability to hack and manipulate technology for petty vengeance against any kids who bullied him or anyone on the various online communities he frequented who annoyed him.

Eventually his petty crimes caught the attention of the Sentinels, who easily found him. In a rather pathetic display, the young man bawled his eyes out and begged for their forgiveness. Seeing Bailey as simply a young man led astray rather than a villain, he was taken under their wing. With the Sentinels, Bailey would turn a new leaf and become known as D-Code; a hacker famous across America as a Sentinel who exposed the various scandals among the political and business world.

While he likes to act cool, the Sentinels are the first real family Bailey has ever had and he cares for them deeply.

Arc Ideas:
Hack the Planet: Tensions rise among the Sentinels as a series of cyber crimes begin terrorizing the citizens of Rush City. To make matters worse; Bailey's superhero persona, 'D-Code', is being labelled as the prime suspect. Desperate to clear his name, and worrying that his team mates will accuse him of returning to his old ways, he begs the Sentinels to help him catch the true culprit behind this hacking spree.

Big Boys Don't Cry: Bailey begins to question his place in the Sentinels after a series of screw ups on the groups latest missions cause the team to grow more frustrated with him. Bailey, wishing to be seen as a valuable member of the team, recklessly attempts to go after a major villain on his own. He ends up being caught and held hostage by said villain, who uses him as leverage against the Sentinels.

Other:
Despite being a shut-in, one of Bailey's favorite things to do with the other Sentinels is have a fun game of baseball.

Bailey's role in the Sentinels is less of an offensive one, and more akin to that of a Navigator. He provides them with Intel as well as uses his abilities to ensure that the teams missions run smoothly. He does have combat potential, but is not nearly as effective as his teammates.

Powers:
Morningstar possesses what some would consider the "standard array" of superpowers; she is capable of unaided flight (whilst it takes her a while to build up speed, if given enough time she can break the sound barrier), and possesses superhuman strength and durability (allowing her to lift cars with little strain and cause bullets to bounce off her, although heavier firepower will knock her about a bit). She is naturally adapted to intense heat, with mundane fire not really affecting her at all, and possesses a prehensile tail and small yet sharp horns. In addition, she is able to create blinding flashes of magical light, as well as fire out concussive blasts of light from her hands (which she erroneously refers to as lasers).
Due to her demonic nature, however, she possesses a couple of notable weaknesses. Direct exposure to silver will cause her pain (and weapons of silver are able to easily wound her), and magic is able to bypass her supernatural defences to affect her like it would any normal human.

Abilities:
Lucille doesn't really have many skills that are practical for superhero work, as she isn't really trained in any kind of fighting style; she tends to just rely solely on her superior strength rather than any kind of technique, which can sometimes lead to her being overwhelmed by a more skilled opponent. She's a bit of a nerd, really, and is pretty good at videogames in addition to being a fast reader... And that's about it, really. Well, she's a decent cook too, if you like spicy food. She seems completely incapable of making anything that isn't mouth-searingly hot.

Equipment:
Lucille does not possess any specific equipment, relying on her innate powers rather than fancy gadgets for fighting crime.

Personality:
One would expect the child of a demon lord to be a dark, brooding soul for whom joy and happiness are almost anathema, but Morningstar is... Not exactly that kind of person. She's quite the opposite, actually, a vivicious optimist who believes in the inherent goodness of all. Some would think she's a bit of a Pollyanna, and that she's far too forgiving of wrongdoers (and especially of those who judge her by her appearance and demonic nature), but she can't help it, it's just the way she is. Unfortunately, this also leads her to be a bit niave and overly trusting, as well as somewhat self-sacrificing; she'll give her all to protect the innocent and help those in need, even if it kills her. Aside from that, she's just... Kind of a cheerful dork, really, and kind of a superhero fangirl; her room is full of memorabilia and merchandise of more established heroes, and she is unable to keep from gushing if she ever meets one.

Brief Backstory:
One look at the teenage superhero Morningstar makes it abundantly clear that she's not entirely human; the red skin, golden eyes, horns and tail mark her as the child of a demon. Her father is not just any demon, however; for he is Magnamalus the Shining Darkness, one of the most powerful demon lords of the lower realms, a being who claims to have been the inspiration for devilish figures in several mythologies and religions throughout history (although don't they all?). The child Lucille was concieved on Earth not only to do his bidding but to act as a link between the mortal world and the lower realms, to stand at the head of the infernal legions during the final battle between good and evil...

But unfortunately for Magnamalus and fortunately for humanity, Lucille didn't really care much for the whole "evil" thing. Far too enamoured with the wonders of the mortal world, she quickly decided that she didn't really want to see it corrupted, dominated and desolated by the forces of the lower realms. Not only that, but she found herself rather fond of the superheroes who protected it, and it didn't take long for her to realize that it would be a much better usage of her powers to act as one! So without much thought she quickly threw on a costume and began flying about her home, Rush City, trying her best to protect the people she'd been created to conquer.

Arc Ideas:

• Her father, Magnamalus, is a pretty obvious stand-in for the likes of Trigon, Mephisto and, well, Satan, which... Well it speaks for itself, really.
• There's no way to deny the fact that Morningstar looks rather demonic, and some members of the public, as well as some superpowered individuals, are not exactly fond of her because of this.
• Lucille might not be the only child of Magnamalus out there...
