It's been a few days since you were last at home.
It's been a bit of a blur for you. It was just a normal mundane weekday until they took you. You didn't have any reason to suspect it. No reason to have your guard up. One moment, you were living your life the same as you always did, the next, you were fading in to unconsciousness with suited men approaching you. When you came to your senses, perhaps a day or two ago now, you found yourself in some kind of container made of a strange metal. You've had meals and water passed through in to your container, but you have received no response when attempting to make contact. By the rattling sound below, you deduced you are on a train of some kind.
You are scared, alone, angry - and without answers, still completely oblivious as to who took you, and why. You have an inkling though. You deduce that it's to do with your gift - or your affliction, however you see it. For the last couple of years you have felt powers bloom from within you - perhaps the ability to manipulate fire, to heal or to even fly. You make this connection as for the first time in some months you are unable to use your power at all, the container you are trapped in numbing your ability completely.
Any attempt to escape is futile, any attempt to call for help is futile. Everything you do is a waste of energy, so you wait it out. And wait. Until you hear the bang.

The story will follow a group of young, in-over-their-head superhumans who have gone from living typical lives - albeit dealing with their recently discovered extraordinary abilities - to living a life of pure danger, fugitives in rural USA on the run from a mysterious organization that strives to keep superhuman individuals in captivity. Having already been captured once and narrowly escaping in to the hills of Northern California before it was too late, the protagonists of this story will be forced to develop their abilities as well as work together and form some kind of unity as a group.
